Great vacation home situated right on the lake. Perfectly furnished and well stocked. Owners certainly know how to make you feel right at home. Made some great memories with our family. Would definitely go back.

This was a perfect place! Would return in a heartbeat

This house is the cleanest and most well-organized we have stayed at so far. Scott and Michelle provided all of the basics we could think of, plus some! Communication was clear and timely. The town of Olcott is perfect for young and old alike, very walkable with lots of activities for the four tweens and teens we had with us. Spending a day at niagara falls was an easy drive from here, and bicycling and having lunch in Lewiston was also time well spent.

The house is great! Clean. Everything we needed was there! Loved the location. Lake is beautiful. Area is very nice and quiet
Scott called us to touch base when we were arriving. A plus.
Only one surprise. Shower handle in master tub not working. Leaked. And valve handle taped closed with a sign not to use Not prepared to have 7 family members staying in the the house with only 1 working shower. But we made it work. Thanks.
Would stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home. Extremely clean and comfortable; and the best well stocked home ( you have thought of everything we could have forgotten!) that we've ever stayed at. The views are spectacular and there are binoculars everywhere. Our family, who live in the area , were equally impressed. I've already recommended this property to friends and family.

We truly loved our stay here. The views over the lake were amazing, and we spent some days just sitting on the deck watching sailboats, Canada geese, and the Toronto skyline in the distance.. The nearby Olcott Marina had an excellent launch for our boat (the new breakwalls are finished, and really well done). Niagara Falls was an easy drive, and the local farmer's markets had incredible seasonal produce. Olcott is a wonderful town with an old-fashioned feel. The house is comfortable, and though I worried about there being no central air during an August heatwave, the window units did a terrific job of keeping the house at a comfy temperature. This has been one of our favorite vacation houses, and we'd happily stay here again!

Everything was just wonderful. The lake and lake view, incredible. We will come again. So much to do in the area so never a dull moment. Floating in the lake was heavenly.

The cottage was great! Right on the lake with plenty of room, inside and outside. We liked watching the sunsets and eating outside. And...just yards from the only sandy beach around.

My family visited Olcott Beach for the first time and had absolutely fabulous time. First of all, Scott and Michelle are fantastic host and such a friendly and kind people! Scott was always so prompt to answer all the questions we had prior to the visit. When we arrived, we couldn’t figure out how to operate the TV and they were so kind to come over and helped us.
The house was located at the perfect location, right next to the Lakeview Village Shoppers, and has literally everything you need for the stay. The best part was the view from their deck, both on the main floor and on the lower deck that leads to the beach. I spent a lot of time sipping coffee in the morning and admiring the sun set on the deck. My son and my husband enjoyed Fishing almost every day! On the July 3rd, we had our private view point for the fireworks which was amazing. The house was very clean and had a lot of thoughtful touch too!
Olcott is such a hidden gem and Scott and Michelle’s place makes the stay here so perfect. My family will recommend this place to anyone and would love to come back someday soon!

My family of four loved this place! The house was lovely and you couldn’t ask for a better location. Restaurants, shops, and the water were just steps away. Hope to come back sometime!!!

Scott was a pleasant landlord to work with, but the rental was not what we expected based on the description online. The home was clean, but dated. The bed was good enough, but the rest of the furniture was not at all comfortable. While the back deck did offer a beautiful view of Lake Ontario, the bugs were so bad that you could not sit out there to enjoy it. The neighborhood was basically a couple of dive bars and a "village" that consists of a couple of souvenir shops and an ice cream/hot dog stand. There was, however, a lovely public park/beach at the end of the street and apparently in the summer there's a small carnival-like area for kids. But overall I expected much more from his property.

We had a beautiful time in Olcott. 2 long time friends and I celebrated our birthdays (all in our 30s). There just happened to be a small festival happening over the weekend and we were told they had things every weekend! How fun and exciting. We traveled to Niagara falls twice and shopped around at local places along the way. Very friendly community.
The evenings were beautiful on the patio listening to the waves and watching the sunsets.

We searched the entire coast line of Michigan looking for houses and they were all booked or exorbitantly priced. So we ultimately moved over to Lake Ontario and pulled the trigger on Scott’s place not knowing what to expect. The house is fantastic. It’s clean and full of extra towels, supplies, cookware, water floaties, a smart TV, and good wifi. The grill was clean and had an extra canister of propane. The two porches were nice depending on how much sun you wanted to get. The Lake was clear and swimmable 5 of 6 days; bring water shoes. The only day it was churned up and a bit rough was after a storm. The town is not fancy but it has a lot of character and history, and the local businesses are clearly making an effort to provide quality service. This house is literally 30 steps to ice cream, funnel cakes etc. There is also a fantastic farmers market (Hillers) 5 minutes down the road with unbelievable corn and beans. Niagara Falls is 30 minutes away, and nearby Wilson has a nice restaurant (Sunset Grill) with amazing tuna nachos. Scott the owner called and made sure we had everything we needed. You won’t get better value for a lake house vacation.

From booking to checking out, the process was seamless. The house is well stocked with everything you could possibly need during your stay. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for the six of us. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck and watching the sunset in the evening. I highly recommend reserving this house for anyone who wants a relaxing vacation. I hope we have the opportunity to return

This was the perfect place to stay for a family with teenage children. They could walk to get ice cream and food and we were all able to enjoy swimming from the beach at the bottom of the hill. The sunsets are amazing and the deck was the perfect spot to do yoga. Lots of quiet roads to run on, blueberry & cherry orchards to pick your own fruit, plus several nice wineries for tastings. I definitely recommend getting ice cream sundaes at the Prickly Pear—so yummy. The house is well kept with thoughtful attention to detail and plenty of space. Definitely book here!

We had a wonderful time with our family. We went swimming at least 3 times a day. The water was cool, but refreshing. When not swimming, we enjoyed watching the lake from the decks for hours on end. There are a lot of stairs so people with limited mobility may have some trouble. However, there are railings so even my elderly parents were able to manage them and had a wonderful time. The beds were comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay on the banks of Lake Ontario— the waves lapping, gorgeous sunsets in a very elegant and well appointed seaside house hosted by scott.
