About this cottage rental

Our cottage is an old style two bedroom weatherboard with a classic covered country style balcony on the Eastern and Northern side and with a recently renovated kitchen, bathroom and a cosy living/dining room to relax and watch TV or chill out after a busy day visiting the local attractions. The location is fantastic being minutes to Hunter Valley Gardens, Hope Estate, Roche and Bimbadgen and right next door to the gorgeous Italian Restaurant Pescara; very central and close if you are attending one of the many concerts in Pokolbin. It is about a five minute drive away from the Vintage Golf Resort & Spa and is surrounded by vineyards, restaurants, cafes and all of the attractions that have made the Hunter Valley Wine Region a favourite for visitors from around the globe.
We offer a very private, relaxing location, a comfortable fully self contained cottage but right in the heart of the action.
The cottage is the only rental accommodation on our property and shares the area up close to McDonalds Road with our fine art gallery, Watershed Gallery

“We had an amazing stay at Ron’s cottage! The place was absolutely spotless, with fantastic amenities that made our visit so comfortable. Its location couldn’t have been better—everything we needed was just a short drive away. The thoughtful touch of a bottle of wine waiting in the fridge made us feel instantly at home. We’d happily stay here again!”

If you're looking for the perfect getaway in the Hunter Valley, this quaint cottage ticks all the boxes. Nestled in an ideal location, surrounded by native bushland, it provides easy access to the Hunters best wineries. The cottage itself is impeccably clean and thoughtfully appointed. From the cozy living area to the well-equipped kitchen, you'll find everything you need for a comfortable stay. The two bedrooms are large ( both with mirrors ) with quality bedding, towels, great heating and numerous pillows to choose from. Little touches, like eggs, butter, milk a fresh loaf of bread, welcome bottle of local wine and a well-stocked pantry, show that the hosts have truly considered their guests' needs. You might want to bring your own CD’s and a few DVD’s if you want to stay in. The selection was a bit limited but no big deal. Despite its central location, the cottage feels secluded, offering a private and tranquil atmosphere. I recommend taking a walk around the property at sunset, amongst the gum trees and embrace the beautiful serenity it offers. Do yourself a favour and pop into the gallery that is situated next to the cottage. There are some impressive, quality pieces or art from local artists. Ron, the host was quick to reply and very friendly…I highly recommended this property and will definitely be back.

Perfectly central location for us to explore the lower hunter. Some great dinner options nearby so didnt have to drive far and night. Very comfortable accommodation with a/c in bedrooms. Even saw kangaroos up close on the property in the morning which my son loved. Ron was welcoming and responsive in all our dealings.
