The property and beach area is beautiful! The water was crystal clear and warmer than I expected. We did lots of paddleboarding and fishing. We saw many deer and wild turkeys. The house is well stocked and comfortable. Cheryl called to make sure everything was ok. Would definitely book this property again. The only thing we had some issues with were the bees. Just couldn't eat outside.

This is an absolutely lovely location. So remote and peaceful. The home was just as described, very well appointed and large enough to accommodate our tribe of up to 12 adults and 8 kids. Unfortunately for us, and certainly no fault of the friendly and helpful owner, Cheryl ,nearby wildfires and extremely poor air quality impacted the first 4 days of our trip. We made the best of it, but it was sad that most of our kids with our young grandkids left at least a day or two early because of the smoke. The later part of the week was gorgeous and we enjoyed all the water activities and fishing. Sadly, lesson learned in this age of environmental weather change and heightened wildfire conditions, we will be weary of planning family gatherings- anywhere across the state- the end of August. This is not meant to detract from this truly amazing home and property, we would come again, just earlier in the season.

This was our second time here and again, it was great!! The house is big enough to accomodate our 20 person family. We love the beach and could keep our boats right there. Any questions we had were answered quickly. Cheryl is great to work with. We will be back again!

Thank you Cheryl for sharing your amazing home.

We love staying at Cheryl's cabin on Lake Roosevelt. Cheryl is an excellent host and has a very nice property. It is very secluded and yet is still connected to the world. We love this place and hope to visit many more times.

This is our favorite place to stay on Lake Roosevelt. The house is equipped with everything you need. It is clean. It has great access to the lake and it has plenty of entertainment even when the weather takes a turn for the worse. We do a yearly father/son spring fishing trip and the fishing is amazing. We also love the area wildlife. Golden eagles, bald eagles, deer, turkey and it seems like everything in between.

We appreciated staying here and it was well set up for our family gathering. The kitchen had enough dishes for everyone as well as cooking utensils and serving dishes. The wood stove was lovely on the colder days, and there’s a good selection of games/puzzles for entertainment. It is well off the beaten path in a beautiful and peaceful setting.

Fun in the sun!
We had such a wonderful time. Eleven grandchildren together ages 5-12 swimming, fishing. paddleboards, kayaks. They laughed and played along with rock panting, playing board games, watching movies together. Many precious memories were made. Cheryl is a wonderful hostess. We love coming here. Thank you for sharing you home Cheryl!

So cozy
A very roomy and well appointed house in a beautiful location. Great for large groups/ families. We were there with friends to go fishing. It was steps from the lake and we could see the lake through the pine trees. Kitchen was well equipped. Cheryl the host came by soon after we arrived and was very kind. She quickly cleared up confusion on the internet password. A great place!

Great Secluded Cabin
This secluded cabin was a huge hit with our group. The location is perfect and the home is very nice. The homeowner is extremely nice. She even called during our stay to make sure everything was perfect. For a medium sized group, you could not find a better place in this area.
We would love to stay here again!

spring fishing
The property was exactly as described and the house had everything we needed. Short walk to an amazing beach and the wildlife viewing is great. We were greeted each morning and evening with beautiful White tail deer, gobbling wild turkeys and soaring eagles. the view was fantastic and the fishing from shore was very productive. This made for a great Father/Son annual Spring fishing trip and we will definitely return.

Weekend Getaway
Everything was great. The walk down to the beach took about 2 minutes and was quite pleasant. We had the whole beach to ourselves. The amenities were great and everything was as pictured. The neighbors were closer than expected but didn't interfere with our weekend

Perfect place for family getaway!
Love the secluded location. Can walk to Lake Roosevelt but far enough away to discourage toddlers from going on their own. Everything we needed for cooking was there.

Perfect!
This property was just right for our large group of family. The layout of the house was fantastic and it’s steps from the lake. The water toys were so fun. We had a rainy day that was filled with games and pool and movies. It is probably the most well equipped Vrbo I’ve ever rented!

Family fun
This place is amazing if you are looking to get away from civilization and be apart of nature. It is surrounded by beauty and nature. The lake is gorgeous with clear and calm water for swimming. All of the kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards provided for hours and hours of fun on the lake. We were able to safely paddle across the lake to the "secret waterfall". (It's about 1.75 miles across the lake). Make sure you have all of the food you need for your visit because there are no grocery stores in the area.... Closest is approximately 45 minutes away. There are more than enough games and activities to keep everyone occupied during your stay. There were so many deer and turkey out during our stay. This place has everything you need as long as you don't NEED to go out to eat while on vacation.

Great place for family
Our family had a wonderful time on this property. The water was great and the available kayaks, paddle boards and canoes were all used. If you aren't into those types of water crafts bring a blow up floatation device and you'll be set. The kitchen was stocked with what we needed, two refrigerators were a plus with a big group. The beds were comfortable. The big table on the deck was perfect for our family meals. We will be back to stay here again.

Remote, well-stocked. welcoming home
Ever get to a rental and feel like there are so many rules you can't relax? Not this place! We felt like we were renting from a friend. Best stocked kitchen in any vacation home I've ever seen, and that's a good thing because you won't be popping out to a restaurant for a quick bite. The home is seriously remote, but the setting is super peaceful. A couple minutes walk through the backyard and trees gets you to the lake, and we had fun trying to make sense of the animal tracks down by the water. It would be fun to rent again when it's warmer and be able to get out on the water.

Turkey hunting fun
This was a great place to stay while turkey hunting. The hunting spot was about an hour away so not bad. Home had lots to do for us who don't hunt. The beach access was great for our dogs, pool table was fun, and watching old movies. (Bringing old school back with the VCR!). Well stocked, you just need to bring your food to cook meals but plenty of dishes, pots/pans, towels, etc. Beds were comfortable. Thanks, for sharing your home. We hope to visit again.

Family friends relaxing adventure
This rental property was a wonderful place for relaxing and adventure. The location was pleasantly isolated and the kayaks and canoes were great for water adventure. The home had all appliances, towels and supplies that we needed. The pictures online show two different dining tables but only one was in the home. The home could have been cleaner as we saw lots of sand on the shower floor and a pair of dirty shoes on one bedroom floor when we arrived. Neither of those things negatively impacted the fun of the trip.

Peaceful lakefront retreat
You have everything you need at this peaceful lake retreat. Views from the living room and main floor bedrooms were great. The huge table on the deck was really great, and we have to come back in the summer to utilize! I loved watched the sunrise and deer walking by the house from bed :) and the sunsets from the lakeshore are even better. We walked through beach over a mile in both directions, enjoying the pockets of sand, and despite the cold it is a beautiful place for a winter walk. We saw plenty of geese, bald eagles, turkeys, and very cool black and white ducks of some sort. The dogs loved the area, and even went for a chilly winter swim. As others have mentioned, there’s no cell service which wasn’t an issue, but I was able to get 1 bar Verizon on the lake shore.

Winter Wonderland
We stayed at Cheryl's property after Christmas, so snow was covering the area. It was beautiful and we saw deer and turkey every day! The road to get there was gravel for the last few miles, so definitely need 4 wheel drive in the winter, but we had no problem getting in or out. We did leave a day early due to a winter storm moving in and Cheryl was the one that alerted us, so we were thankful for that. We enjoyed all the games, puzzles, foosball, ping pong, and pool tables. We took walks daily, even down to the beach, and our dogs loved it! Can't wait to stay in the summer to enjoy the lake activities.

Love this place!
We had an amazing Christmas day with our family! The roads were clean getting there but it snowed on Christmas day. It looked beautiful. leaving was when our car couldn’t get out. A small snowy hill. The mail man was the only car that came by and offered his help (I believe he was friends or family with the owner) Fortunately we made it out! We hope to come back loved the entertainments offered for kids and for adults.

Sweet Home
We had a great time. The house is well equipped with everything in mind. The kitchen had all the dishes. There was entertainment: pool table, board games, movies, outdoor activities (even though we didn’t do outdoor activities because of the weather), etc. Also, there is WiFi. My two children connected to their class online. Even though, the WiFi sometimes comes and goes. The house has a lot of beds, if a big party of people are staying here.
Some things that were cons were the HVAC system and electricity. The furnace does not heat up so much. It’s a 2.5 ton is a little small for the living square footage area of the house. The good thing there is a wood stove that heats up the area of the living room and kitchen. The electricity went out on Saturday from 9am- 2:30pm. So, we didn’t have light, water, WiFi, phone line (to call the owner because there is no cell phone service), we were not able to cook during this time because the stove is electrical and it was snowing outdoor, so we couldn’t use the grills.
Overall, we will return again.
