As our guest you are a guest of the entire resort including the Grand Hyatt Vail Resort. With only a few hundred feet to the lift, the mountain is at your doorstep yet the serenity of the Gore Valley wilderness surrounds you.
If you need to rent gear, get a tune up, or rent a bike just drop by Venture Sports attached to the hotel at the base of lift 20. Plus, as a guest staying in Millrace 2E you have access to the Fitness Room at Grand Hyatt Vail and Spa located on the bottom level of the hotel.
Whether it is winter or summer - come relax in our platinum rated, recently remodeled 2 bedroom plus loft, a 2nd + 3rd floor unit (note: there is no elevator for the condo), and enjoy the stunning view of the mountains. Have both the luxury of a ski in/ski out resort with the convenience of a complete home. Room Service is available in the privacy of your rental condominium. If you have young children, eat breakfast or dinner at home and let them play while you enjoy a glass of wine. The grocery is less than 2 miles away.
The kitchen comes fully prepared with the chef in mind - Calphalon stainless cookware, Cuisinart small appliances, Gorham stainless flatware, and new bone china and full sets of glassware for wine, water or beer for 10 people. If you prefer to grill enjoy the stainless Weber gas grill on the deck.
If you are looking for a summer visit the old saying that everyone comes to Vail for the winter, but stays for the summer couldn't be truer. There are tremendous opportunities whether you are into hiking, mountain biking or trying the world class fly fishing in Gore Creek that runs through the resort and is right out the front door. The options are endless. Try a walk, run, or bike on the miles of Vail hike and bike trail that runs directly in front of our unit. Follow the trail along Gore Creek into Vail Village or continue the 9 miles to Vail Pass or down to Beaver Creek and beyond. At night head to the Gerald Ford Amphitheater for a symphony concert or watch the international dance competition. There is something for everyone in the summer.
After a day full of skiing/hiking/fishing the world-class terrain of Vail, the Millrace at Cascade offers multiple outdoor hot tubs, pools, steam room and sauna to soothe your hard worked muscles. When its time to call it a night there are plenty of sleeping options for up to 8 people - Master bedroom has a king bed, a second bedroom with a queen bed, the loft area has two twins that can also be joined to form a king, and the Living Room has an American Leather sleeper sofa with a gel foam queen mattress. This is not your parent's sleeper sofa - truly a revolution in technology and now found at the Ritz and Four Seasons as the premier sleeping sofa on the market.
As we are a family with children, this unit can easily accommodate two small families or three couples. The loft area is also equipped with a TV and many games to keep the kids entertained and allow the adults to enjoy some quiet time. If you need a Pack-and-Play or Crib just ask and one can be provided. There are also 4 sleeping bags available for the little ones. The convenience of a private garage keeps your car warm if you choose to take an adventure out of Vail.
No other resort in Vail can offer you everything that Grand Hyatt Vail and Vail Residences at Cascade Village Village does.

Very well kept townhouse/condo with plenty of space. The Gore Valley trail is a short 2 minute walk out the front door, and all the hotel amenities are 3 minutes away. Walkable to both Lionshead and (with a smidgeon more effort) to Vail Village. Check-in was quick and easy. The washing machine did not work but maintenance arrived within two hours and fixed it w/o any issues. Great parking (garage and driveway space) made coming and going a breeze. Superb communications with James and the Hyatt property folks throughout. Would stay again!

Communication with the owner and the property manager was fantastic. Quaint and very clean. Property was just as subscribed. House was fully stocked with the exception of salt and pepper Which is just a minor thing. Had a great time.

We were in Vail for a wedding and made a vacation out of it. This property was very convenient and well maintained. Easily accessible to the creek trail to Lionshead and East Vail.

Loved everything Will be back with family next year!

It is a nice unit, if a bit dated in decor. There really are only 2 bedrooms - the 3 "room" is a den with a single bed, in order to pass from the master bedroom you have to walk thru the den, so not a lot of privacy. There are multiple full baths, but the tub in the master suite - the drain doesn't close so you cannot fill the tub. The shower is nice. Downstairs there is a wood fireplace and TV in the living room, very comfortable. Checking in was a bit of a hassle - you have to go to the Grand Hyatt hotel front desk and then to your unit. We arrived about 11pm and it took us 30-40 minutes to check in. The hotel staff unloaded our gear from our Uber at the hotel and we had to walk with all our luggage to the unit - fortunately not a far walk. Access to the unit is up a flight of stairs, nothing bad. Unit has all the things you need to cooks, plates, cups, etc. but bring your salt/pepper shakers. Washer/Dryer but you need to buy detergent. Accessing the hotel - supposedly there is a shuttle, but its just easier to walk over - but you are carrying all of your ski gear. The hotel has hot tubs - they are small and crowded with small kids - we encountered one family actually eating birthday cake in the hot tub right in front front of the sign that reads "No Food". Oh well. There is a lift from the other side of the hotel up the mountain - very very convenient. Getting around isn't bad - walk to the hotel and take their shuttle into Vail. Pretty easy.

Nice condo in Vail. The hotel shuttle to Lionshead and Vail village is very convenient. Access to lift 20 is an easy 4 minute walk and the venture sports rental and valet service was great!

Second time we have stayed here and the host is fantastic and location is great. We have 3 children under 8 and this has been the best location we found in the area with the amenities and convenience of kitchen/washer/dryer for the family. Looking forward to staying here again.

We had a wonderful stay in Vail and found the condo extremely clean! Check-in/out was very easy with clear communications from the resort beforehand. It was so nice to have a complete and functional kitchen especially since we were in Vail for a week and wanted to eat at the place during our stay. It was a truly a home away from home. Many complements to owners who thought about everything you might want or need when you travel to Vail!

This home is stunning. Very clean, and has an extremely stocked kitchen. If you are planning on cooking most of your meals while you stay, the kitchen will have (almost) everything you need. The beds were also extremely confortable. We were able to see 2 deer from the property in the morning.

Great location very close to everything. Store, hotel and vail village 👌.

Our family of 5 stayed during August (3 kids aged 5 to 12). The home was very clean and in an excellent location. The unit has 2 designated parking spaces which is outstanding for Vail properties. The layout is perfect with common areas downstairs and bedroom upstairs. Plenty of seating in the living and dining areas. The unit has access to the Grand Hyatt restaurants, pools, hot tubs, etc. Free shuttle to Lionshead and Vail Village, ski lift is just up the street and Gore Creek is right behind the unit if you like fly fishing. The owners were quick to communicate and introduced us to the Grand Hyatt staff who manage the property. We would highly recommend this rental and would definitely stay again.

We are a family of three and found the property to be beautiful and very well stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The hotel amenities are nice to have nearby - pool, Topgolf virtual fun, restaurant, and an ongoing shuttle to Lionshead and Vail Village whenever we needed it. Very convenient for all our adventures in Vail in the summer. The owners are very responsive and we couldn't have asked for a better family vacation!

Life time experience
This was an amazing stay, the best I have ever had in Vail. You can walk to Lionhshead and are right on the Gore Creek which is breathtaking it's self. All of my questions were answered fast and with a friendly tone. The owner and property management are the best I have ever experienced. The Condo was in great shape with EXTEREMLY COMFORTABLE beds.
Thank you for all you have done. I will return every time from now on.

Great local & Amenities.
Property is as described. Location to hotel & chair lift & ski rental/valet was perfect for a short stay & w/ a 10 yr old in tow. Short Walk to everything. We enjoyed the stay & would recommend it for anyone looking for a good ski vacation.

Unit managed by Hyatt which charges a resort fee to use the facilities . 2 out the 3 hot tubs were not operable. They were not responsive to issues. Walkways from unit to hotel/lift. poorly maintained especially if wearing ski boots.. Main bedroom unit connected to loft which meant having to walk thru loft area to access rest of unit. Despite having seperate garage unit , cars were parked all over lot as they did not want to use parking acroos the street. . Heating in unit would not heat go over 64 degrees. Better off paying a little more and satying in vail village/lionshead.. There is a reason hyatt hotels rank behing marriott/hilton.

A dream home for a ski family
This condo was a game changer for our vail trip. So cozy, yet roomy, we had enough space upstairs not to have to use the sleeper sofa.
The large windows let us enjoy the outdoor glory while sitting in the living room.
And the location is just great, literally a 2 minute walk the quietest lift in vail.
Lots more to be said…

Great Place with exception of Hot Tub
Outstanding condo and property. Disappointed with Residence Property Hot Tub being covered and not easily accessible. The hotel Hot Tub was broken.

Great family property
We had a wonderful thanksgiving at this condo. Easy access to the Hyatt, a kitchen w all the tools we needed and extra sleeping pads so kids can sleep anywhere.
There were also great board games and desks in both bedrooms if you need to do a little work. I’d stay here again.
