We all had a wonderful time and enjoyed the amenities. The cabin was spacious and we had plenty of space and beds for 12 people. There was a neighborhood cat, Jefferson, who even came for daily visits. We loved all of it!

Our whole family met here for the holidays. The cabin and grounds were nice. There are a few things that need some upkeep, but we all had a very enjoyable stay. The deer were fun to watch after we put out deer corn.

We enjoyed this spacious house for our early Thanksgiving family gathering. The kids enjoyed the pool table games, the hot tub, and the level backyard for outside play. The weather was so nice. We went to the Red Barn apple orchard for an outing and picked apples. It was very close by. A great trip for our family.

It was peaceful and beautiful inside. Driveway needs updating two vehicles of our group got stuck leaving out. 2nd floor shower did not work but baths are always good. Some dishes weren’t cleaned so we washed the ones we needed. Hard to fine even with directions on the narrow roads.😮
It is a nice place to stay in once they get the driveway done.

The Dream Catcher was the perfect place for our family vacation. I very seldom give a five star rating but the Dream Catcher earned it! Everyone loved the deer! And the deer loved corn. Serendipity.

Very roomy, but lacked a little in cleanliness and “fully stocked” kitchen. Very spacious and plenty of room for our entire family.

A group of friends came up to celebrate my birthday for the weekend at the cabin. It was super spacious for a large group. We really enjoyed the fire pit, large dining table, and hot tub. Everything was well kept and clean :) The only complaint we had was that there was little to no water pressure upstairs, so the shower was not useable.

When we did have to contact manager for an issue, they came right away!

Had a great time in the lodge. Everything was clean.
Need to replace some of the chairs by the fire pit. Very unstable. Hot tub was sitting at 109 when we got there and had to turn it down and add cold water to it.

Poor Property Management Communication
Rented property for 6 days and later added an additional day which made 7 total. Was sent a separate invoice from the management company for the additional day. I later learned that a special was available that stated pay for 6 nights get 7th free. Sent 4 emails to management company regarding a refund of what I paid for the 7th day. I never received any replies. I feel that by not replying to my emails, the management company is trying to ignore my request and not meet their commitment to the renters. In regards to the rental, many lightbulbs need to be replaced and outside chairs replaced. The size and layout of the rental is perfect for a large group. Great location.

Great guy trip location
This place was everything we needed. The location was in a good spot and the staff was very accommodating.

Spacious but needs updating
We had a great time, the cabin is big, even with 7 adults didn’t feel cramped, our only issues were:
The sheets on the fold out in the loft were stained, ended up going in town for detergent. Not enough towels for 7 grown men. The appliances are workable but definitely need updating, the stove took forever to heat up.
None of this prevented us from having a great guys weekend.

Great cabin!
A group of 10 of us stayed here (couples, no kids) and loved it! It was a nice big table so we could all eat together and it was a nice location. No complaints.

Nice stay for large group
My family and I stayed in this cabin for 4 days in October and had a wonderful time. We truly enjoyed our stay and time together. If you have a large group and on a tight budget or in a pinch, this is a nice option. While I do have some complaints, we didn’t allow the downfalls log this property to ruin our vacation.
The cons: The cabin itself was not cleaned very well. There was a blanket of dust on the tops of the headboards in the basement beds. The floor mats in the bathroom downstairs were dirty and should have been washed. There was a huge hole gashed into the back of one of the basement bedroom doors, which we would have appreciated expecting this ahead of time. There were several holes in the drop-ceiling in the basement. The screen on the back porch either needs to be pressure-washed or replaced. The back porch needed to be swept up and cleaned, as everything was covered in dirt and grime like it had been forgotten about. The back basement patio near the hot tub was dirty and needed to be pressure-washed. We actually saw leeches by the hot tub! 😬 The fridge was missing several shelves, and for our large party, the fridge space is an absolute necessity. The kitchen sink faucet head was broken on top and settings couldn’t be adjusted. The fan blades on living room and kitchen fans needed to be dusted and cleaned. One screen on front of house was busted off window. Virtually no hand towels provided for upstairs half-bath near living area. The basement carpet probably needs updating as it felt cold and damp in the basement area. The mattresses were not very comfortable and were very noisy as they were covered in a plastic protective sleeve. Lastly, there was only 1 bedside table and lamp by each bed, which was a little annoying considering there was little to no light in the basement bedrooms and also was inconvenient not having a table on either side of the bed to place your items on. All in all, it was a fun stay because we were with family and that’s really all that matters, but for anyone who has an issue with cleanliness, or an allergy to dust, you just need to be aware that this cabin does need to be cleaned more thoroughly.
The pros: it’s large, the living area is a great place to gather and converse. There are lots of bedrooms to choose from. The management for this property was incredibly nice, attentive to our questions, and super helpful.
We did enjoy our stay, however, and appreciate the opportunity to rent this cabin.

Not worth the money
The pictures are deceiving, broken recliners, cracked and chipped dishes, notes all over inside and out, even in bathroom on charges and responsibilities. Also, whatever you do, buy the insurance, they will find something to charge you for. You do not know who to contact for any questions or complaints. Not sure if this is just this property or all of VRBO. Have not been able to resolve a conflict yet. Don't use this place unless you don't want your whole party to go to the pool at the same time or even on the same day. Unless there are only 4 of you. Pool table is the only thing in the "game room" . Very disappointed in stay and lack of help before, during or even after stay. They are charging us for things that we did not break and not using the insurance we purchased. Went to VRBO and they said they would handle it, but told the owner about it and then backed away. The owner already knew, he is the one charging us! Not sure we would ever use VRBO again!

Nice home!
The cabin was very clean and nicely stocked in the kitchen. Recliner was broken and the beds are not great. Tina was fantastic to work with and very helpful to our needs. Only issue was directions. The pool and other places were hard to find. Some of the residents at the pools were rude and made us feel not welcome. The ladies working at the pools were very helpful! Over all it was a good vacation spot!

Annual Family Vacation
PROS: Beautiful home!! Plenty of room for our large group. Neighborhood amenities were very nice and maintained. Kitchen nicely stocked. CONS: Not enough bath towels. Missing lots of shelves in the fridge/freezer. Cleaning crew needs to clean under furniture. Mattresses and recliners are in need of replacement.

Spring family get away
Much needed fun and relaxation! The cabin was perfect for our family. Guys on top floor, girls on the bottom floor, and parents in the middle. The cabin was beautiful and cozy. Everything was clean and had everything you’d need to cook a great meal( we played a round of Chopped lol). The younger people enjoyed the hot tub. We all enjoyed playing pool and s’mores at the fire pit. Even my two puppy loves had a great time. The screened porch was amazing! Overall a wonderful family time ♥️ Thank you for sharing your gem in the neighborhood!

Great get away
Our family loved the visit. Teenagers enjoyed playing pool & we got a few days use out of the rec room so it was definitely worth getting the amenity card. The drive inside the community was paved the whole way which was also nice.

Dream catcher
It was great communication in the beginning, but I would have liked to know where I was going when I left and not 4 hours before check in since we lost GPS signal. I wasn’t notified about the bridge being out and that we had to use a different entrance to the cabin. Which was about an hour driving up the hill than back down and then waiting for the patrol officer to take us to our cabin. We lost power for a couple of hours and that was not great being in the dark. Besides the mishaps we made the best of it. I liked how the property manager was so flexible with letting us stay an extra day. Over all it was a nice place to stay in and the kids enjoyed the pool, game room and golfing,

Awesome Property
We had an awesome time, there was a lot of space. Beautiful master bedroom. Beds were comfy. We didn't get to use the fire pit because it was raining but it was nice looking out from the balcony at deers who came through. I would recommend this property.

Family Thanksgiving 2020
Adult children and grandchildren joined us for a fun filled “cold” Thanksgiving in the mountains...all of us coming from Florida! It was so different for us all and so much fun!! It may become an annual event for us!

Overall the property was fine. The two recliners were old and uncomfortable. Sadly, a storm had passed through knocking out power and internet. We couldn’t get in for 4 hours past the 4:00pm check in. With 13 out of town travelers tired from traveling all day that wasn’t a good start. We didn’t have tv or internet for the first 2 days which was frustrating. Although we couldn’t check in on time we were expected to check out on time (they had said we ‘might’ be able to check out a little late but when we ask multiple times they never responded so we left when we were supposed to. While the rate for the property was fair the extra fees added up fast and I had to buy dinner for 13 people while we waited until 8pm to check in so it was much more costly than anticipated. There was also zero firewood. I know they couldn’t help the storms nor the lack of power, tv or internet there was no relief to the cost of the weekend - just added cost for that huge dinner (we’d already bought food but it was too late to cook by the time we got in). Would have been nice if one of the bedrooms would have had 2 beds but we knew that going into it. Just a few challenges but such is life. I’d go back under different circumstances. I really love the mountains and dream of having my own place someday.
