Excellent base to explore Olhão

Great location in quiet part of town, within walking distance of the seafront. Two lovely large rooms, with generous supplies of coffee capsules and toiletries. Table with chairs in tiny, ivy covered garden, nice to sit out in. But the best thing was Humberto, the host's friendliness and helpfulness. He lives in the main house and readily available, full of enthusiasm and suggestions on how to enjoy his town.

A tea towel to dry the dishes, and more sockets to charge our four phones.

This place is very poor equiped and is really not worth that price, 35 euro would be reasonable

no kitchen, only a simple coffee machine, no view, patio is 2/3 square mtrs, locked up between 4 walls in the tiny garden of the owner,, 30 min walk to the boulevard, much traffic noise in the morning,

I will definitely stay again if I visit the region.

Excellent accommodation, situated in a quiet area, but only a 15 minute stroll to the hub of the town. Host is a very friendly and knowledgeable man - nothing is too much trouble for him. He lives next door, therefore easily available if you have any questions, directions or require advice.

I will certainly visit Olhao again and Casa Rustica will be my 1st choice for accomodation.

Accomodation located in a calm, quiet place, but still pretty close to shops/train station etc. Very clean and cozy. The owner is very nice and friendly. I could always to count on him for assistance when deciding on what to see.

I can not, in all seriousness, name a single bad thing about this place.

Perfect place to explore algarve

The place is good: big enough, clean and well located just 10 minutes away by car from the centre of Olhao. Owner is nice and gave some tips.

Mattress is super hard and really not comfortable It would be great to have a kettle to make some tea

A rustic gem

Easy to find and very friendly owner. The accommodation was great for our 1 night stay. AC for comfortable sleep. Bed was large and comfortable. Very clean and great location. Quiet but close to local amenities eg marina to enjoy the a lovely evening before an early trip to faro airport.

No kettle in room but it did have a coffee machine

Wonderful stay in Algarve town

Umberto did a super job of orienting us to the area. His recommendations for activities and restaurants were the best. The little apartment was the perfect size for us (2 adults) but would also be great for a family of four. We walked everywhere. The beaches are reached by ferry from the waterfront, 15 minutes by foot. There is a small refrigerator and microwave, and a take out for dinner store 200 feet away, although the restaurants are so good you probably won’t use it. Umberto made this place special and we extended our stay. We could have stayed a week easily. We had algarve expectations of a fully developed tourist town, but found Olhão charming and retaining much of historical interest. An espresso outside the fish and vegetable markets by the docks is a must.

Casa Rustica is in great location; flat was specious and nicely designed received many essentials tips from the host who was extremely helpful would definitely go back

Nice place to stay

Clean room, private parking place, free coffee :), cozy surrounding

There was no kitchen, (no spoon, knife, fork, plate) and no comfortable possibility to have a brekfast on site.
