The build is good but it’s not worth spending $150 a night
The property is made well but has not been maintained. there is no comm channel between the guest and the administration.
the staff is kind but not at all at the standard of a luxury property. everything seems to be very laid back and the service feels like a common $30 per night hotel like.
I was seriously disappointed with the experience

Incredible location, very cozy villas, wonderful food.
Almost impossible to reach by road, which was not clear in the description and would have altered our decision.

MIND! You get to the hotel by boat, trying to reach it with taxi is no good.
I loved the place - it is beautiful and peaceful. Many birds and butterflies. The view from the villa is wonderful. We spent 2 perfect days and enjoyed the hotel very much.
The place is remote, all cafes, spas and everything is on the other side of the lake. But if you are looking for relax and serenity - pavilions lakeview is absolutely perfect!
The only issue was: in my confirmation, nor in the description of the hotel there was not a word about getting to the hotel by boat. We spent 2 hours in the taxi, trying to find the place. The phone number in the booking was also wrong.
The hotel’s boat meets guests, but you need to contact the hotel
Also there was no electricity, which often happens in Nepal. The hotel has a generator so the problem is partly solved, but during the day we had no power. It’s a global problem in Nepal, not the problem of the hotel.

Great view and Great staff. Accomodates your requests quickly. In such remote location as well the room is not less than any 4 or 5 star hotels!
It's just the accessibility to the hotel is really bad and is very much dependent on the weather. If it's raining and windy you have to hike for 15-20 mins to get to a road where you can take a car. Even otherwise the other option of going by the boat it takes 45 mins and generally the weather being really hot it wasn't a pleasant boat ride.
The food was good but was very very very oily.
No pool or play area or board games so would be very boring if you are staying there for more than a day because you basically can't do anything at the hotel and to come out you have to go through a one hour ride by boat or car(which includes hiking)

The location was far away from the city.
We had to wait for our boat for 2 hrs.
Passages to our room and to hotel was horrible.
My leg got stuck in a Wooden panel which just broke making me fall.
Facilities mentioned were not provided..no spa no tv.
Never recommending it to anybody.

The staff was helpful- especially the naturalist. Meals were very good.
It really is a 20 minute row boat ride and bit of a hike up to get to the tents. Fine if you’re prepared for that- it wasn’t quite what we had expected. There isn’t a way to phone the front desk or staff- which felt unsafe at night- especially when there was a large mouse in the tent.

Everything. a 7 star location

Staff were amazing. They were very generous, accommodating and communicated very well. We had some outside-of-normal-hours requests for boat transfers as we had very busy days planned, and it was accommodated to.
The villa and experience was just amazing also. Lhotse will be a very memorable stay. It had great views to wake up to and it was such a generous space. Very comfortable and the facilities were all great.
A manual or something to introduce the services (such as boat transfer times and food), its conditions and how to access them. It would just help with planning the day without having to feel like a bother, asking so many questions.
A menu for available food options for lunch and dinner would be good too, so these can be determined in advance.
