We were at Cozy Nights for 2 weeks this year. The location is amazing, with lots of waterfront and a great dock. The house is well furnished and the kitchen has everything you could need.
The reason I am giving this 3 stars is the outside of the house. We have 2 toddlers and it is not a good place for them. The asphalt roof is shedding and we had to clean up the deck after rain, And the paint is peeling on the deck and stairs. Too many temptations for small children to grab. The stairs down to the dock are not very sturdy. And there is no outside picnic table for outdoor meals.
By the way I can't say enough good things about Morton

This was our second year staying there and we really enjoy the location and amenities. The kid big and small enjoyed being in the water. We were in more than we were out. Weather was amazing. Great to have access to firewood to have fires at night and to have kayaks there to use. It was nice to make memories again this year.

Friends gathered to visit and cook and watch the solar eclipse. We were happy with the well-appointed kitchen with plenty of dishes, glassware and adequate cookware. House has beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains. After the April snowstorm we had to search for a snow shovel to clear the deck and found a flimsy one, but overall our needs were met more than adequately.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cozy Nights over the Thanksgiving Holiday. The house is well equipped for cooking with all the dishes and pots and pans you would need. The wood stove kept the house cozy and warm and there is plenty of wood on site so you do not have to bring from home. The lake view is gorgeous and with the fresh snow on the ground it was perfect for photos with the sun setting. I would definitely rent this house again and highly recommend.

The house was perfect! This house was one of the nicest I've stayed in. Cozy, beautiful views, clean, and in a great location. We will be back!

The property was great for a family vacation with grandparents. The house has a lot of room inside to spread out, multiple places to hang out. The bedrooms are close together, and this is more of a cabin feel upstairs, so be prepared if you are a light sleeper.
The dock access was wonderful, along with the yard for our dog to enjoy. Ability to walk into town (15+ minutes with some hills) but it was nice to have the option. The kitchen is fully stocked, and it really felt like a home away from home. Bonus garage access to load/unload in the rain.

This camp has continued to meet our needs as a multi-family renter. The open space in the kitchen and living room work well with a bigger group. Having the mooring for the boat is very beneficial and one of the bonuses that makes this place great. Some other key aspects we love are: quiet neighborhood, close to the grocery store and downtown, beautiful view of the lake from the house, fire pit, and nice amount of privacy. Renting from Morton & Furbish has been great also. This year in particular we had to call them due to excessive rain that flooded the basement. Their response was quick and thoughtful of our needs. We also called them when we noticed a boat in the lake that had broken off of their mooring. We didn't know how to report it. So we text them and they quickly reported it. Great company to work with and rent from. We highly recommend the camp!

Cozy Nights is a good, middle of the road house to rent if you want beautiful sunsets, days on the dock, and being close to town. The waterfront is one of the best spots on the lake. The only reason we gave 4 stars - We've stayed here for the past 3 years and have suggested improvements to the camp. None of them have been implemented. Beds are comfy but the master bedroom doesn't have a dresser. Some of the lights downstairs don't work and the house overall can use some tender love and care. Other than that, it's a beautiful spot on the lake for a larger group. Mostly private setting and can walk to town or Loon Lodge if you want! Highly recommend this camp.

What a fun place for our family to hang out over the winter break! There was ample room to eat together and play games. The view of the lake is awesome and the driveway had plenty of parking. The woodstove did keep us super cozy and gave the perfect warm winter night feel.
The only thing I would note is there was a musty odor in the home. I could have been from the water getting into the basement after the big storm.
Thanks for a wonderful vacation spot!

This is our second summer staying in Cozy Nights. We have five adults in our party, two couples, one single. It's a great, low-key lakeside house on the eastern shore of Rangeley Lake. Fantastic sunsets and kitchen is well-stocked. We did notice that from last summer, the house was a little less-cared for, more rustic than other houses we've stayed in. Can't wait for next year!

Great house with stunning views of sunsets on the lake
Our family couldn't have been happier with this house we rented during peak Autumn. Well stocked kitchen. Large window views of lake from the dining table and the living room. Great fire pit. Fun game room in basement. Our family of 6 adults (3 siblings and their spouses) organized a tournament and played either Foosball, darts, curling, or shuffleboard every night. There were 2 sit on top kayaks and a tandem kayak, with 4 life jackets available to use. Two benches on the dock allowed for peaceful views of the mountains and sightings of loons. The area is a preserve for wildlife and deer roamed nearby every day. Highly recommend!

Beautiful spot!
We had such a blast staying at this lovely little cabin in Rangeley. It had all the necessary amenities, was cozy in the evenings, super well stocked kitchen, awesome views of the lake (with added bonus of multiple kayaks and a windsurfer), fire pit…. It was just perfect. Beautiful surroundings with fall just starting to show its colors over the lake. Would come back in a heartbeat. Our only complaint is that there aren’t any sharp cutting knives- you know it has to be good if that’s the biggest issue we could come up with! Great peaceful getaway.

Very nice property. Queen mattress in middle bedroom is very bad. Excellent amenities that all work which is unusual at these rentals. Two small problems addressed within an hour by repairman. Would definitely return.

Already Planning to Return
This house truly was all we needed and then some. The house was very spacious. We had 5 adults, 1 child, and a few dogs under foot. We never felt like we didn’t have enough space. The kitchen is well stocked with all of the dishes, pots, pans, silverware, cooking utensils, etc. The gas grill was great and it just was extra nice to have the propane tank full so we didn’t have to worry about it. We enjoyed the fire pit almost every night. They supplied wood (another nice extra perk that most places don’t do) and we enjoyed it as we watched the moon set over the lake. The three bedrooms we so nice with comfy mattresses, good space, and lots of closet/dress space. The lot was private, so we really felt comfortable to be outside without disturbing neighbors. The only bad thing was the construction happening next doors that started before 7, but we know that is beyond the owners control. But an FYI for anyone renting it the rest of this summer. The dock was fabulous large to give us sitting room on the bench and still space to jump off the dock at the end. The final note is that the house is private but also close to town and the grocery store. We really searched to think of something wrong and could think of nothing. Worth the money to stay here!!

Another wonderful stay at Rangeley Lake
Great location, views from every room. Slip-resistant dock, which was a great touch. The kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens that we've ever stayed in at Rangeley Lake. Private, close to town, and enough room for everyone. WiFi was fast and reliable. Kayaks and water floats were available for use - we barely had to bring anything.
Morton & Furbish continues to impress - Melinda and everyone there are AMAZING. We will be back next year!!!

Wonderful!
Despite the iffy weather we had a wonderful family reunion at Cozy Nights for our third year in a row! On the good days, we were hiking, boating, exploring, etc and on the not so good days we were playing games, reading, looking at phones, talking, laughing and huddling around the wood stove. Cozy Nights is just that - cozy with a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, books, games, deck and waterfront! . Great place for a great vacation and we plan to return for our fourth year! Highly recommended!

Location, view and access to the water were great. House is worn and could use some sprucing up.
The rental process was easy. Wish the house was a bit cleaner. Carpets need updating, Stairs to dock are a bit scarey. Deck could use new paint. BBQ should be cleaned after each guest. It was disgusting.

Rangeley bliss
What a beautiful property! It was well-kept and accommodating! Aside from a neighboring home having what appeared to be a belligerent bachelor or frat party one night during our stay, everything was perfect. Can't really control that aspect though. Everything else was exactly what one imagines when renting here.

Great Reunion Week at Cozy Nights - 7/4 - 7/11 2020
This was our second stay in Cozy Nights and it couldn't have been better! The weather was perfect, except for an exciting microburst one afternoon, the water was welcoming, evening campfires, and the accompanying s'mores, were enjoyable for all ages! Rangeley offers a host of activities for actives or not.
It was very hard to leave but we signed on again for next summer; we have found our spot!

Great Lake Views/Comfortable Home
We had a great stay at Cozy Nights during our early fall trip. There are great views of the lake from all rooms on the first floor and easy lake access too. The well-equipped kitchen made staying in and cooking very easy. But when we wanted to go out for lunch or dinner, it was nice to be conveniently located close to town. Also close to some nice hiking trails. All in all, we had a fabulous stay and visit to Rangeley Lake and would highly recommend both the area, Cozy Nights and Morton & Furbish who were wonderful to deal with and provided lots of great communication.

Wonderful Family Reunion
Cozy Nights was just right for our family reunion of multi generations! The house is well-equipped, spotlessly clean, super location on the lake, kayaks, great wood supply for the fire ring and we lucked out with the weather. Close, but not too close, to town for food replenishing. We will definitely return!

Seven Nights, and Days, of Wonderful Bliss!
We couldn't have been happier with our vacation in Rangeley, made even happier by our accommodations at Cozy Nights. We hope to return next summer.
Just a few suggestions - I know we were the first ever summer rental so our suggestions will be helpful, I hope.
First: The beds were excellent!!!!
I spoke, when returning the key, that a section of the dock seems to have gone missing, or never put in. That does need to be taken care of pronto particularly if there will be young children or older folks.
For eight adults the fridge is too small; another either in the garage or basement would be helpful.
There needs to be more outdoor chairs for the deck; 4 chairs for a house that sleeps 8 is not enough.
Other than that, the house was very will equipped, everything worked - windows were a bit difficult to close when we left, fire pit fantastic with a shed of super firewood, kayaks seem to be new, life jackets available; one doesn't need to take much more that their clothes and bug stuff.
Sad to be home!

Very comfortable, spacious and great kitchen/living layout for our three generation family gathering. Easy access to snowmobile trails and town. Beautiful waterfront views from all rooms. Plenty of parking for rigs and sleds and room inside for gear. Great library too, plus TV and WiFi. Highly recommended.

Great Stay at Cozy Nights
We rented the Cozy Nights Property to stay in during the Snodeo Weekend. It was a work weekend for us, as we were sponsors for the event. Morton and Furbish Vacation Rentals helped us out tremendously as we booked lodging a little too close to the event date which gave us slim pickings for places to stay. They helped find a perfect place for us. As for the home, it was nice and came equipped with a pantry and basic needs. We would stay again and would recommend others to stay as well. Lovely view of the lake and were able to catch some beautiful sunsets.
