My husband and I stayed here for four nights and it was the perfect spot for us. The loft was clean and tidy. We loved how quiet it was and we enjoyed the drive to and from bar harbor. We would definitely stay here again when we come back. Adam was a frat host!

A great place to stay with all the amenities you could ever need! The apartment was super clean and cozy, and the nearby town was so fun to explore. The proximity to Acadia was also a bonus. We definitely plan to return again in the future :)

Adam's place is lovely! A really beautiful spot on the Blue Hill peninsula, very close to great coffee, groceries and food. Incredible star gazing! Adam's place was a wonderful spot to launch our Maine vacation. It was so clean and cozy, with a delightful woodland bird soundtrack of hermit thrushes and phoebes outside our windows. Thank you Adam and Landere!

Property was wonderful. Host sent message through Vrbo, but when I hit reply button I just got sent to Vrbo website for making new reservations. Very frustrated with Vrbo!

Super cute apartment! Easy drive to Bar Harbor/ Acadia. We went in late August and it was about an hour drive during the day. Hosts were super nice and welcoming. The stars were so amazing at night because there’s basically no light to get in the way. Only minor thing is it gets a little bit warm in summer without air conditioning but the nighttime temperatures cool it off. Overall it was a wonderful place to stay!

The perfect quiet stay for a Maine weekend away — great jumping off point to explore the coast and nearby Bar Harbor + Acadia. This really is the cutest spot & we were obsessed with the skylights.

Well appointed little studio in a very quiet neighborhood. Clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The only issue was the lack of cell service and poor Wi-Fi connection.

We absolutely loved our stay in Blue Hill! Our hosts were the nicest and most accommodating couple. Their property was exactly what we were looking for on our no frills vacation. No tv, no problem. There’s a puzzle in the drawer. Star gaze from the bed or the front porch which is also a great place to drink coffee, wine, or what ever you found at the Blue Hill Co-Op down the street. WiFi is there, but we didn’t need it that often with everything available in driving distance. Need coffee? There’s a pour over station in the kitchen, or there are several coffee shops in and around Blue Hill. The small fridge is the perfect size to hold any leftovers or a quick trip to the store. All-in-all, this is a wonderful place to stay when traveling the coast of Maine.

A wonderful experience with a charming host family.. very quiet, clean, sunny and airy space
One thing we didn’t plan for was the spiral outdoor staircase leading to the apartment. But we managed it despite being in our 80s.
We would definitely stay there again

The property was an upstairs loft. Very nice, in good condition. Bed was comfortable. The small air conditioner did the job and was super quiet. There was a small deck where we enjoyed breakfast in the morning and a glass of wine in the afternoon. It was an easy ride to the grocery store and downtown Blue Hill. The yard was completely overgrown which did subtract from the overall ambience. Although the listing was accurate, when something that people take for granted, such as a TV, isn't included, it would be better to state it prominently in the write up.

Cozy little place tucked away in South Blue Hill
A great deal of thought and effort went into turning this little room into a comfortable place to stay. Wonderful location, down a gravel driveway, completely cut off from road noise. Full bathroom w/ large shower stall, kitchen with mini-fridge, microwave and hotplate. HVAC from a mini-split which was more than enough to heat and cool the small space. View of the woods from the windows, two skylights over the bed provide lots of natural light. 30 min from Stonington, 40-50 from Acadia, depending on which part you're aiming for.

Cute and cozy - great 3-day weekend getaway
Lovely place. Nice small kitchen. To reach it you need to be able to walk up external spiral stairs. Not a problem for us, but just FYI.
Cute town and great access to hikes and water. Would definitely visit again.

Great stay!
We enjoyed the quiet location and privacy of Adam's property! The space is beautiful, and in a good spot for traveling around Blue Hill. Adam was communicative leading up to our stay, and check-in and check-out were very easy. Everything we could need was provided and we hope to come back soon!

Secluded, peaceful and modern
All the conveniences of modern life in a secluded, beautiful location. We loved waking up to the sounds of nature with light coming thru the skylights and windows. Sparkling clean, everything was easy, two grocery stores minutes away. Thank you for having the coffee stocked up, and all the “little” things taken care of like soap, shampoo, dishwasher, toilet paper, etc. It makes it easy for those of us on short stays!

Restful and Quiet Stay
We had a great, restful and quiet stay. The backroads in the neighborhood were great for walking or a short gravel bike ride. The local land trust guide helped us pick our driving and hiking tour of the area after a day in Acadia. The weather was a bit rainy and dreary, so we didn't get to sit on the deck. The space had just what we needed to cook small meals and relax. Communications were smooth, though we regret not saying hi and learning about the build process (my partner is an architect).

A Quiet Escape
Efficient, clean and quiet all made for a great weekend getaway for us. Adam, the owner, was extremely helpful on the before our arrival with local hiking destinations and other details about our stay. Located a short distance from Blue Hill center, the second floor unit offered a quiet location to center our activities around the area for the weekend, and a comfortable and clean place to eat and sleep to be ready for the next day.

Just perfect!
I can’t say enough about our stay in Blue Hill! We were looking for a quiet peaceful getaway and that’s what we got! To think that Adam built this efficient, cozy, has- everything-you-need living space just amazes us! We especially loved sitting on the little porch to catch the morning sun! Thank you Adam and Lander, we’ll be back!

Perfect getaway
We enjoyed our 4 night stay. The house had everything we needed. We cooked breakfasts and picked up food at nearby restaurants for most dinners. It's very quiet and clean. Wonderful location - took day trips to Acadia for hiking and renting bikes. Enjoyed the walking around the cute town of Blue Hill. Was surprised at the number of hikers in Acadia that were not wearing masks at congested areas. I would love to return to this home!

Lovely Location
We used Adam’s space as a home base while we spent four days exploring Maine’s central coast, including Acadia National Park. A quiet, secluded setting and a comfortable bed with fluffy pillows — it suited well our needs. I very much appreciated the supplied coffee all three mornings! We left a short list of simple fixes that would make this rental even better (minor issues such as a check-out punch list, adding a sharp knife to the utensil drawer and/or a pair of kitchen scissors, supplying aluminum foil or Saran wrap in kitchen, etc.). We enjoyed our stay, Adam. Thanks!
