• THIS WATERFRONT COTTAGE IS OFF THE 1000 ISLANDS PARKWAY, BETWEEN BROCKVILLE AND GANANOQUE (EAST OF ROCKPORT, IN MALLORYTOWN). THE PARKWAY IS IDEAL FOR BIKING, WALKING, JOGGING AND SNOWMOBILE
• LOCATED A LITTLE OVER 1 HR FROM OTTAWA, 2 HRS FROM MONTREAL AND 3 HRS FROM TORONTO
• THE OVERALL AMBIANCE OF COZY COTTAGE IS VERY CALM AND PRIVATE, CLOSE TO MANY ACTIVITIES IN THE THOUSAND ISLANDS (ONTARIO)
• VIEWING OF SEVERAL TYPES OF BIRDS. LOON CONCERTS ARE WONDERFUL

DETAILS OF THE RENTAL SPACE:
• Cottage is Roughly 900 sq. ft. on one level
• Two bedrooms: linen provided
o Master bedroom (Queen size bed)
o Second bedroom (double and bunk beds (2)).
• Newly renovated Kitchen (fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, glasses, utensils, dish linen, etc.), dishwasher, induction stove, stools around the island, etc. Includes dishwasher soap, dish soap, coffee filters, Scott towels, etc.
• Open space living room (with hide-a-bed) and dining room all facing the water
• Entrance with banquette, wardrobe and rechargeable vacuum
• Newly renovated bathroom (with bathtub/shower), powder room and laundry room. Includes shower and hand soap, towels, toilet paper, etc.)
• Large terrace: relax with table, chairs, umbrella, BBQ and glassed railing to offer the best view of the river
• Electric baseboard heating, heated kitchen floor and heat pump (air conditioning)
• Satellite TV provided, no films
• Wood cathedral ceilings in all the rooms
• Garage/Driveway:
o Garage for one vehicle, includes motorized door
o Driveway for up to 2 cars
o Trailer must be a small size and manageable by hand to avoid turning on neighbour’s property
o Cart provided to transfer your belongings into the cottage
o Two bicycles provided for your enjoyment on the nearby parkway
o Several outdoor games
o Recycling bins and trash cans
• Boathouse: To store your favorite toy
o Sea doo, kayak, canoe, paddleboard, sailboard, fishing boat. Rentals are available nearby.
o Fiberglass 16 ft canoe is provided, with oars, Personal Floating Device (PFD) (2), battery and electric motor
o Floating noodles and board
o Boat ramp available at 1000 islands national park in Mallorytown landing (5 km)

• Shore/ Dock area: To enjoy water activities

o Swimming access from the floating dock (ladder) and the shore
o Fishing from dock
o Docking for your boat or your friends visiting (up to 35’). Cottage off the small craft route at buoy U13/U14
o Exterior fire pit area with several Adirondack chairs
o Floating dock with Adirondack chairs (2)
4. SUMMARY OF ACTIVITIES IN THE AREA:
o Nearby 1000 island parkway for biking, walking, etc.
o Golf on Grenadier Island (directly across with a member) or spectacular Smuggler’s Glen golf course
o Enjoy boat tours off Rockport, Ivy Lea, Gananoque to Boldt Castle or Singer’s Castle (don’t forget your passport if you visit)
o Scuba diving for wrecks in Brockville and Rockport is apparently very exciting
o Visit Upper Canada Village, Prescott (Fort Wellington), Kingston (FORT HENRY, BELLEVUE HOUSE, etc.), Rideau Canal (Merrickville), old Brockville, Gananoque (Casino, King Street) and many other thousand island’s features. Sacket’s Harbour, Clayton and other places on the US side too
o Fine dining at the Ivy Lea Club or other restaurants in Gananoque (Rivas, Moronis, English pub, Maverick), Rockport, Brockville, Kingston, etc.
o Shop about everything in Brockville and Kingston
o Grocery stores and LCBO outlets nearby
