Disappointing

We liked the proximity to downtown Saugatuck and we liked the hot tub.

There is a house attached to this rental, that is also a rental. It is basically a one car garage that they turned in a rental. It is very nice inside but that’s what it is. There are very specific instructions about quite time at 11pm. I guess our neighbors did get the same instructions. We had a bachelorette party next to us that partied for two nights in a row until 2am. We could hear everything, just like they were in the next room. On a side note, your assigned parking spot is in the stone drive just off the street. The sprinklers run each morning and must be tied into a well, I had to wash our car twice trying to get the hard water spots off. There is no wine opener, so bring your own. The hot tub is nice! Just very disappointed, because it’s expensive for what you get. You also pay a cleaning fee but you are required to take out the trash, strip the bed and place all towels in a special bag. Why am I paying a cleaning fee? We loved the town but would look to book some place else next trip.

The price was salty especially after we found out it was one large room for all our accommodations.

When the website said two rooms I thought the bedroom was the second room. I have never counted the bathroom as the second room. I didn’t appreciate the bed in the same room as the rest. I also did not like a separate cleaning fee when we had to strip the bed and take the trash out.
