Don't miss the chance to plan a dream vacation in this incredible log home approx. 30 minutes from the Wisconsin Dells. Sunset Lodge is also great for anniversaries, family reunions, and weekend getaways. Enjoy picture-perfect sunsets and the following amenities: 4 bathrooms, 6 bedrooms, plus 2 full-size cribs, a youth bed and a sofa sleeper. The lodge consists of a 2-story great room with a fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the lake, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, game room with a pool table and a 2nd floor roof deck. Sunset Lodge sleeps up to 12 adults and 10 children (total of 22 people).

The master suite features a fireplace, private sunroom with and poker table. Master bathroom features clawfoot bathtub, custom walk- in shower, his and her vanities. Sunset Lodge also has satellite flat-screen TV's in the bedrooms, sound system with a CD player, DVD players, satellite internet service and unlimited long distance phone service. An pier, 6 new kayaks, trampoline, picnic tables, grills , an outdoor firepit enhance your outdoor fun and 100s+ miles of UTV/ATV Trails.

Reservations:
September through May - We require 2 night minimum stay. Holidays require 3 night minimum stay.

June through August, we book weekly rentals.

CLEANING FEES:
Stays that are charged a nightly rate will have a one-time clean fee of $300.
Stays that are charged a weekly rate will have a one-time cleaning fee of $300.

This was a great place to stay with our family of 13. So much to do for everyone. The pool was wonderful to have when the weather made us stay inside. Pat was very responsive when we needed him. We will go back in the future.

What a wonderful place to bring your family. Other than your clothing and personal items your worry free for your stay. We were able to meet the owner Pat, Who happens to be the nicest guy on the plant. I highly recommend this rental to everyone!

This was our annual family vacation which included 8 adults and 3 kids and is the one time a year we are all together. Home was exactly as pictured, well stocked and right on the lake with beautiful sunsets. As expected pool and the lake with its inflatables were a big hit with all. Most of the group headed into the Dells just one day preferring to spend time at the house. Pat was a great host and readily available for questions. We have never gone to the same place twice but all agreed they would be happy to come back here! Thanks again Pat for a great family vacation, Lynn

This is a great rental for a large group. It has many wonderful amenities, especially the indoor pool which is especially fun on rainy days, great space as well as a wonderful view. Both the owner and property manager were very nice and helpful. My only negative comment is that there are quite a few small repairs that needed to be made. Also the online listing should to be updated as there is no longer a sand beach or a rooftop deck which are shown online. in spite of the small things, it is a great rental and we would go back to Sunset House again.

The house is huge. We only had 2 families of 4 and it could have held way more. The pool was great to have indoors as well as the lake right outside with sandy bottom. We were hoping for the sand beach in front of the house but that was not there. Must've been an old picture. But all in all the house was great for families and we had a great 4th of Julyv weekend.

We enjoyed the lake and pool. The indoor pool was a nice option for poor weather days. The property was clean with plenty of beds for all ages. The drive to the Dells was more like 50 minutes vs 30 minutes. However, we enjoyed being out of the busy locations at the Dells.

Our family of 20 enjoyed Sunset Lodge tremendously! The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms so roomy and tastefully decorated. The kids enjoyed the pool and the adults the hot tub and pool table. We would definitely book this place again!

With 20 people from age 5 to 75, it was definitely a mixed group, but there was something for everyone. From the indoor pool to the hot tub and whirlpool to the firepit, we didn't lack for things to do. Karen, the manager, was most helpful. It was wonderful to be together for three days and see the family bonds strengthen with all the fun and laughter as well as new shared memories.

The property is clean, homey and very well stocked with the necessities. The floor plan is broken out so that we could all be together or find spots for quiet time Karen, the inn keeper, was so, so helpful. The view is breathtaking as it overlooks the lake. Great service from local manager to accommodate our visit. This was our second year as a family gifting our kids and grandkids a weekend get away for Christmas. Great family time! Pros: Indoor and outdoor activities all year round, very well stocked unit, clean, very attentive local manager, plenty of room for large group of all ages, private and more intimate experience vs. some other resort/hotel/water parks for weekend visits, location is central for our group only a 30-40 minute travel time Cons: Sizable deposit is a negative, price increases w/o seeing improvements, the majority of our grand- kids experienced skin irritaition both years despite showering from the pool, for our group with smaller children the personal Knick-knacks throughout the house can be a nuisance

My family likes to make memories rather than exchange gifts for Christmas. This place worked so well for that. Of course the pool was the favorite for the children. The structure itself intrigued the older adults—“are those real logs?” The layout allows folks to get quiet time when needed. The beds are comfy, the kitchen is so well equipped, and the fireplace is awesome. Thanks Karen (innkeeper) for your attention to detail and doing the introductory tour. You rock!

This house is beautiful. We had a very nice time with a huge group of people. We had plenty of room for everyone!! Karen was great!! Check-in was very good and thorough. The oven quit working while we were there and Karen had someone there to fix it within an hour. Clean property. The only negative thing we have to say is, we couldn't use the pool the last day we were there because there were so many chemicals in it that many of the kids ended up with pretty bad rashes/burns from it.

We had a fantastic weekend with old friends and new kiddos at this lovely Arkdale home. The pool was clean and perfect for youngsters; it had a plethora of floaties and toys. The lake was lovely to look at and exhilarating to swim in. We roasted smores by the bonfire and chatted it up in the downstairs game room. It was really great! Bring your own shampoo and conditioner and poles for roasting marshmallows, but you can leave lots of baby and kid items at home (high chair, baby gate, exersaucer, board games, etc.).

We had a wonderful time however the pool was not very clear overly chlorinated adults were hesitant yo use it the kids however had no qualms there needs to be a ladder on the pier like they have next door it’s very hard for adults to get out of the lake

Great place for a family of all ages. We are ages 3 to 78 and all had a great time with plenty to do. The pool is great for rainy days and we all enjoyed the lake and the beautiful sunsets. The house is well supplied for large groups. We would stay again!

Our group of 9 adults and 8 kids (ages 2-10) had a fantastic week at the Sunset Lodge. All the common areas of the house are much bigger than the pictures suggest. We didn't feel like we were on top of each other. The house is clean and very well stocked - cupboards of beach towels and plenty of other linens, The kitchen has pretty much everything you need - and we cooked using lots of different tools and appliances. There is a second fridge downstairs and a small dorm fridge in the sun room. Also the two washers and dryers made having clean towels very easy! We loved playing in the pool - again there are several floats and toys. We were disappointed that the sandy area by the water is no longer there, but we did find a beach that's at the park just a few minutes away on the other side of the cove. And there isn't a roof top deck like is shown in the photos. There's also no watercraft to use or rent from the owners. But none of these things would stop us from renting here again! We could tell that they are making updates to the house, which is great. The patio furniture is abundant with nice big shade umbrellas. Karen, the property manager is great to work with! She checked on us a couple times after having a minor plumbing problem and made sure it was resolved properly. She showed us where everything was located when we arrived. Karen & her cleaning crew are thorough. Thanks for a fantastic week!
