Plenty of bedrooms but if you have someone sleeping in the loft it gets very warm. Patio and pool area were great.

We had a wonderful time swimming, sitting outside, chatting and cooking for a crowd. The property is lovely both indoors and out. It feels like a well-loved family home. It was a fun and relaxing visit. The property has beautiful landscaping and there were a ton of different birds frequenting the yard: quail, woodpeckers, hummingbirds and hawks. Stephen was very helpful with check in and any questions that came up. We only stayed a couple of days and I wished we could stay longer. I'll definitely keep it in mind for future events.

This was the perfect location to get to and from wineries. The pool was a great addition. We were worried about there only being 2 bathrooms but it wasn't an issue at all. Highly recommend this house!

We have a large family that does a retreat each year in Northern California. For 2024, we selected Santa Cruz and booked. Unfortunately, that reservation was cancelled in March due to the owner needing to sell (for unforeseen reasons). We scrambled to find a replacement and luckily stumbled upon Secluded Arts and Crafts Style Family Estate in Sonoma.
The reservation process was quick and easy and Steve (owner) was accommodating in allowing a third dog and provided a very clear rental contract and access instructions/house rules.
We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and fully enjoyed the house! Several high points -
Area is very quiet (we were as well) and private.
Downtown Sonoma is very close for those that wanted to venture in.
The house isn't new, but it appears to have been very well maintained over the years. We had no issues with power, water, plumbing, furniture, etc. We had no need to contact Steve during our stay.
House has many areas (inside and out) that are pleasant for gathering/relaxing/reading, etc.
Parking is plentiful and easy (we had a max of six cars during our stay).
Kitchen is well stocked and big enough to allow for several cooks to work simultaneously.
While we generally try to go different places each year, several family members have already expressed a desire to return.
The Harvey Clan
NOTE - We had 12 adults in the house for most nights. There are five bedrooms and the loft above the dining room, so we had no issues '

House was great. Loved the arts and craft design and decor. Property is pretty and serene, with no other houses too close. Everything worked properly with no hitches. A+

The place was extremely charming. We ended up spending more time at the home than wine tasting. Highly recommend.

We had such a nice time at the house for our friend reunion. The pool and hot tub were so nice, the living room was gorgeous, and beds were comfortable. Nice distance from wineries. Thank you for a great stay.

Came here as a group of 12 celebrating a 40th birthday. Suited our needs perfectly! The outdoor areas were absolutely the highlight, with most of our time at the home spent in the pool, hot tub, or patio. Steve was incredibly responsive and helpful. Thanks for a great weekend!

I had a family of 8. We wanted some time to hang together. This house for us was perfect. I'm home now and all I can think about is that perfect pool. We want to do it again next summer!!!

Beautiful property with lots of outdoor space. We visited on a very hot weekend (97F!) and the air-conditioned home, and the pool, were a lovely place to relax in. Outdoor space is ample and great for dog to run around in, the premises were clean and property manager responsive to questions. Thanks for a great stay!

Great location, lovely property. Only two bathrooms tough on 12 occupants. But all around great stay.

This is a great property! It feels like you are out in the country, but it’s only a six minute drive to downtown Sonoma. Steve was responsive and very helpful. Highly recommend!

A great house - inside and outside. The photos don't do it justice. Good sleeping quarters; we managed just fine with 2 bathrooms. The refrigerator needs an upgrade - missing shelves, broken drawer, making it diffficult to store and then later find our food. A quick wipe down of the table on the patio would have been nice. Also, we would have enjoyed the pool more if it was heated. Other than that we loved the house and the location. We would definitely rent this house again.

We had a lovely time staying at this property! It was great to have enough bed space for our large group, we enjoyed the pool and close proximity to Sonoma and the many wineries! My only comment/feedback would be to be prepared to have to buy toiletries and, in our case, even toilet paper when you have a bigger group.

Very comfortable, spacious, clean, warm interior. Convenient for visiting Sonoma.

We had a great time in this lovely comfortable home while sheltering from the torrential downpours over the 2022 winter holidays. The house has nice furnishings and art but it's not one of those scarily pristine places where you spend the whole time worrying that your teenager is going to break something. The five (!) bedrooms and loft are good sized and well-furnished. As well as the living and dining rooms there's a seating area off the kitchen so people can gather in separate groups.
My complaints are small. The kitchen could have been a little better equipped. (Because of the time of year and the weather we spent a lot of time indoors cooking.) And the beds were a little hard for my old bones. But heck, that's normal.
The house must be incredible in the summer time with all of the outdoor gathering spaces and the pool. There's a lot to do in this area even if you don't drink much wine. We did a lot of short hikes in nearby state and local parks. Sugarloaf Ridge was our favorite.
Highly recommended!

Had a wonderful girls weekend here. Host very communicative and helpful with details. House is definitely dated and could have been cleaned more thoroughly; lightbulbs were burnt out & no overhead lighting in majority of rooms/common areas made it quite dark inside. Overall we had a great time at this home in Sonoma.

The location was perfect. Just close enough to downtown without having the crowd. Great views just out the back of the house along with quite a bit of wild life throughout the day. Will definitely consider for next trip to Sonoma.

Came to Sonoma with 7 friends and had a great time at this property. The location was excellent, close enough to everything you would want to do in Sonoma yet far enough away to feel like you were on your own private estate. There was plenty of room for all eight of us and the accommodations were very comfortable.

We really enjoyed this property for our Women’s Wine Weekend! The house is a bit older and rustic, but the property is beautiful overall. It had plenty of room & 7 beds, which was pretty great for a large group. One of the bathrooms had a very old shower head, that I personally think would be very easy to replace and would make the showering experience better. I would also suggest cleaning the pool better, make sure the hot tub water level is normal, and clean the outdoor furniture before people’s stay.

Steve made it seamless to rent and enjoy the property.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Beautiful outdoor areas to sit and relax. Inside is a bit dated but suitable. We had elderly adults staying at this house so they didn’t mind the dated interior. A little tight with 3 bedrooms sharing one bathroom but we knew this when we booked. Overall it was very enjoyable especially considering the occasion. My son’s wedding at a winery in Glen Ellen.

I’d prefer to give this 4.5 stars
- the outdoors of the property was particularly lovely, with multiple comfortable & beautiful places in shade and/or in sun to hang out together or solo outside and also a great pool, nice hot tub, and a large open grassy area where we saw deer, coyote, and many birds.
The indoor living room was beautiful. The kitchen was serviceable though some items included in the listing (eg, blender) were not there and several dishes were not clean (when we used the dishwasher we saw why- it was not particularly effective).
The bathrooms were incredibly dated and showing signs of wear & tear (eg, the hot and cold valves did not work well in either bathroom- the children & a couple adults couldn’t turn them).
The previous clients seemed to have left some items that had not been cleaned out before our arrival (eg, snacks in nightstand drawer).
The owner/manager was very responsive to questions.
The location was outstanding- very quiet, yet close to shops, restaurants and wineries, and just about an hour to Point Reyes & other coastal spots.

Steven had great communication and was very helpful and pleasant to deal with in the reservation process. We had a great time at the house and it is in a great location to Sonoma wineries. It is slightly dated but in a way that’s sort of charming and everything in the house worked great. We loved the amenities of the pool and hot tub. Beautiful property. Thanks again!

INCREDIBLE DREAM PROPERTY
I was drawn to this property by its impressive Craftsman Style and was not disappointed After two years of covid cancelled family annual vacations, this stay was a reward worth waiting for.
Everything we needed to have a wonderful week of rest and relaxation.
The property is quiet and away from the hustle but close enough to Sonoma Town Square and other destinations.
We had a lovely family bonding experience and very happy we chose this location for our stay.

Peaceful Setting
We had a great time in this very spacious home. Right amount of bedrooms and everyone said the beds were comfortable and setting very quiet. Could use one more bathroom - but we adjusted. The pool was a nice escape - warm enough for everyone. Close to wineries and not too far from the Sonoma square. Agree with another reviewer about the fan in the main living room - pretty dusty!!! Overall we really enjoyed the house and loved seeing lizards and deer too!

A great place for a group getaway!
We had a lovely time staying here for a bachelorette party! Check in and communication were great, and the property is beautiful. There were some spots of the house that needed a bit of TLC (don't turn on the ceiling fan if you don't want a dust shower), but it was a great option for us! Keep in mind that the WiFi was very limited and was out more than it was on, so it would not be possible to work from this property without a hotspot.

In town for Our Sons wedding, Family members stayed at the house.
Could use a Deep clean, kitchen drawers , cabinets, fans, etc. Lights in bedrooms, were not connected to the switch on the wall. Pool could use a revamping.

Nice Place to Chill
Sonoma can be weirdly busy for an area cover with so much farmland. After spending the day out and about this is a nice place to come back to and chill for while.
