Had a gap in housing due to selling my house and stayed here for 5 days. Place was well appointed and had everything that I needed. Was hot when I was there without air it can get tough to sleep but it may have been advertised that way too.

This cabin highly over priced for location literally 40 feet from one of the busiest summer roads in Michigan, M22. Five a.m. to midnight it never stopped!! Could not sit at patio table and hold a conversation. The Michigan 12 axle tractor/trailers back and for hours all day added a whole new dimension to the above.

The cabin is walking distance to downtown and steps from the lake. It is the perfect location for day trips up and down the peninsula.

This was an excellent location to a fun town. It was just enough space for the two of us, was good with restaurants and fun shopping and a beautiful view of Lake Michigan

Advertised as being "charming" , not. It is shabby, small, constant traffic noise from M 22 . We left after 2 days of an 8 day reservation.

We were very pleased with the accommodations and appreciated the assistance of managers.
The process was very easy in renting this place. Access to the property was made easier with help of the managers. Everything at the property was just as described. Thank you. We will work on next year when it gets closer to time.

Great location, small waterfront access. Very convenient for us. There is some road noise but after sunset once the campfire was going we didn't care.

Since my only 2 choices are "Loved it" and "Not really", I pick Loved it because there is no place better than M22 and the general location is good. The cabin is tiny but clean and worked OK for us but wow, the traffic noise is incredibly loud and goes on all night long. Since this is basically the only way into Suttons Bay, there is a lot of industrial-type vehicles that go by. It will keep you awake, even if you close all the windows. I have a few other minor issues that are not deal breakers for me but things to know if thinking about this cabin. They left us 4 bath towels for the week. There were 3 of us so we had to use the same bath towel for a week...a bit long for me so replacing towels or letting us know to bring extras would have been helpful. The grill needed to be lit with a match but there were no matches in the cabin...it would have been nice to have that but proximity to Hanson's Market meant we could pick some up (we decided to use the oven instead). There are several windows without screens so you either have to keep them closed or deal with the bugs. All that said, other than the almost deafening noise, the location is good....walking distance from most of Suttons Bay and the beach access is close.

Very nice stay
It was a nice, clean little cottage right down the street from downtown Sutton's Bay. It was comfortable and they provided everything you might need including a few towels, equipped kitchen, a grill and internet and cable. The bedroom did get pretty warm so I was glad we brought a portable fan. The road next to the cabin was pretty loud as well and took some getting use to. The beautiful beach with access was right there with a little playground and having a delicious brewery across the street was a bonus! It was also nice being so close to downtown and a grocery store and laundry mat if needed. Would stay again!

Wonderful Location
I stayed at the Cumberland Cottage, and the location couldn't have been more perfect. We were a stone's throw away from the water and had our own little fire pit. Traverse City is 15 miles away and Suttons Bay is walking distance. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Great location, but....
This adorable, just renovated tiny house-like cabin seemed too perfect. But it is literally 30' from M22, the main highway up and down the Leelenau peninsula, so the traffic noise was just too much, even with the windows closed and the a/c running. Plus the double bed has a footboard, which makes it really hard for a tall person to rest. We were there two weeks, but left a day early. But the location is really great, right at the edge of Suttons Park, 1/4 mile from the Village, laundromat, grocery, great dining, church, beaches, cherries, great sunsets, and so much more. We loved it until we realized we couldn't sleep for the restricted bed and the noisy rumbling traffic. Maybe a week would be better.

Upgrade
We're supposed to stay here, but the property manager upgraded us to a larger unit because this one was in the process of being updated. We had a chance to look at this cottage and discovered it would have been really crampt for three adults. The picture shown on HA is outdated. The walkway is under water. Suttons Bay is a gorgeous place to stay. We hope to return to the Leelanau Penisula.

Excellent
Excellent response to problem we had with wasps by entry door. Moved us to adjacent cabin and exterminator arrived in morning. Cabin moved to recently renovated and nice while retaining "cottage" charm of past days. Beautiful spot with the bay and Suttons Bay one of the premier places in MI, or anywhere. Will return.
