About this house rental
Located in quiet South Harbour Village, just minutes from the beach (2 miles), guests have access to pool, par 3 golf course, boat ramp on the intracoastal, hair and nail salon, massage therapists, Facial spas, scuba diving rentals & trips, marina, park and restaurants all within walking distance (1/4 to 1/2 mile) ! Clean and modern furnishings inside with organic bedding that is washed in chemical free detergents. Master Bedroom offers a king size bed, dresser, TV. Master bath has a walk-in shower and a bath tub. Bedroom #2, has a king size bed with dresser, TV and small sitting area. Bedroom #3 has a king with a dresser and TV. The two bedrooms share a bathroom. Cleaning products used are also chemical free. For some water fun, we have (2) kayaks that you can put in at the boat ramp about 1/4 mile down the road and beach cruisers for cruising around the neighborhood or to the pool. The first beach access is 2 miles from the house and has a shower for rinsing off before you had back home. Beach chairs and all the comforts of home. We do not provide beach towels.

We loved our stay here and would book again! The property owners were great and the house had everything we needed!
A couple of takeaways that may help others. Bring mosquito repellant so you can enjoy the nice patio. We bring our dog crate on every trip, they have an extra large one here. They do have bicycles which is wonderful but you can't really use them to get to the beach from this location, you will need to drive. If you want free beach parking go over the bridge and straight through the red light 3 or so miles. Little parking lot on the right and has a shower to rinse off. I hope this one stays free a long time. Parking adds up ridiculously! If I was able to add one thing at this location it would be an extra piece of seating in the den space for larger families to watch movies and play games but we made it work with a couple of dining chairs. The fenced in back yard is a really nice privacy fence and really helpful with fur babies!!

Wow! I am thrilled to say that our rental was everything we hoped for. Our vacation plans started with trying to find a place that will accommodate our two furry friends. This was an excellent choice. Having a beautiful fenced yard made this vacation possible since we will not leave our pups home. The house is in a beautiful community minutes from a dog park. Bonus!
This house and community is centrally located from all of our destinations. We wanted the beach, to visit Southport, and Bald Head Island. We were within very short minutes of all! Another bonus! We enjoyed Oak Island beach and Caswell Beach for the sunsets and the lighthouse. Both within minutes of the house.
The accommodations were very comfortable. It felt like home. I loved the spacious kitchen! We balanced cooking in with eating out. We fit comfortably at the dining table for family meals. We loved that! The 3 bedrooms were perfect for our party of six! The master bathroom shower was a highlight with the two shower heads. The bedding was luxurious and very comfortable.
The living room was a nice space to unwind after our long days. The only suggestion would be to add more seating for six people. The couch and recliner fit 4 comfortably. Maybe an extra chair or loveseat. All in all a great space.
The extras need mentioning. The bikes were great, and the beach chairs and umbrella were wonderful to access. We didn’t have to pack those beach necessities! We will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay in this comfortably furnished and beautifully decorated home! The location is close to Oak Island and Caswell Beaches, as well as Southport's restaurants and shops. We loved taking the kayaks for a paddle in the nearby Intercoastal Waterway. The fenced yard was a great place for the dog and kids to play. The hosts provide so many extras - a nice selection of coffees, special bath products, and organic linens - just to name a few!

Wonderful Vacation!
We had a wonderful stay in South Harbour. We adore this area! There is nothing better than Caswell Beach, Southport and Oak island. Debs place is nothing but clean and comfortable and it’s in a great location to visit all our favorite places with pool access as a bonus. We really enjoyed having an enclosed backyard for our kids and Deb was a wonderful host! We hope to visit again!

Perfect location close to beaches, Southport, Caswell Beach and fab restaurants. Joseph's and Rusty Hooks were excellent.

Beautiful Home
From the moment we arrived to the property everything was immaculately clean and quite beautifully decorated. The owners have taken great care to ensure you have most anything you could need to make your vacation wonderful. The only "issue" we had was that the listing seemed to be out of date. It was stated to have 3 bedrooms (which it did) and 1 of the bedrooms was supposed to have a bed that could be split into 2, however it did not. That was not a major for us as I just had my 2 youngest children share the bed. Also, only the master bedroom and living room has a TV. Again, this was not a major concern for us.
Overall, our stay was wonderful and the home was outstanding in most every way. We would highly recommend this rental for another trip.

We loved our time in this home. It truly felt like home! It was clean and comfortable. The homeowners were easily accessible if we needed them. Quick to answer and reply to any questions we had. Great rental!!!
We loved this vacation rental! The house was beautiful and conveniently located to all of our favorite places. The pool was a short walk away and we loved watching the sky divers right across the street! We also enjoyed the park as well as dinner at Rusty Hooks. This was one of our favorite trips and we hope to be back again!

Excellent spot!
This house was a great find for us! We chose it because of the pet friendly fenced in backyard but found it to be so much more. It's a perfect location....address is Southport but it's right before you cross the bridge onto Oak Island. Minutes from several beach accesses, nice community pool, lots of extras in the kitchen....will definitely be back!

Heavenly Stay
My family and I could not have picked a better place to stay! The rooms were so spacious and comfortable! It was the most relaxing place to be after a day at the beach! This home is so close to OKI and Southport! We had so many options of what to do! We will definitely stay here again!

Couldn't be better!
My wife and I were looking for a quick getaway from the winter weather. We were very happy with the property and the property owners were very responsive. The fenced-in yard is great if you have a pet - don't have to leash up every time they go out!!

Great Long Weekend
This house fit all of our needs for our quick trip to Southport. It is well furnished, clean, and has everything you need to enjoy yourself. The neighborhood is great, everything is within walking distance (Pool, park, etc). I will definitely look up Deb and Joe for our families next trip to the area.

Long weekend family trip to attend a local family event
The property met all of our family's needs. Our "fur babies" loved the fenced backyard. This is uncommon for home rentals and is a big plus for this rental property. The home was well appointed and ample in size for our family. The kitchen met our needs for this trip and the home was exceptionally clean. The location was a short walk to the park, marina and a couple restaurants. Thank you for opening up your lovely home to renters.

The home is beautifully decorated and roomy enough to spread out and have privacy. It was perfect. The kitchen was large and well equipped. The back yard was perfect for our little dog. We would stay her again and highly recommend it.

After the hurricane
We came to the beach with 6 siblings and their families. We are so happy that we chose this location. Several of our siblings were oceanfront and had damage to their homes. This home was perfect. We also had room for displaced family members. Wo definitely come again.

Awesome stay!
The house was awesome, and so close to everything we needed. The master shower gave me something else to add to our own bathroom renovation because that double shower head was amazing! The house was very clean, and stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed using the kayaks that we launched down the street, and the bikes for riding down to the marina. And our furbabies got to stay with us. We would definitely love to return for a future stay

I have never found a place that at least 1 thing wasn't wrong, but not this place. It was absolutely perfect. Top notch on cleanliness. Great family friendly neighborhood. Owners are next door and very friendly but gave us our privacy. Very conveniently located to southport downtown and the beach at Caswell and Oak Island. Nice patio in the back and we loved having the privacy of a fenced in back yard. The beach cruiser bikes were a great added touch. The house literally had everything we needed; a grill, pots, pans, dishes, towels, washcloths, sheets, soap, toilet paper etc. We had a wonderful trip and will most definitely stay here again when we visit Southport and Oak Island.

First Family Get Away During Covid
Our family stayed at this beautiful, clean, and spacious home in June during the summer of Covid. We were able to stay socially distant and safe from the crowds. We cooked in the well equipped kitchen, ate in the dining area and slept in super comfortable beds. The house was conveniently located between Oak Island and Southport, close to grocery stores, in a quiet, welcoming neighborhood. It was the perfect space for our family and we even got to bring our little dog along. Thank you to the great hosts!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. The house was fantastic! It was very clean, and stocked up on his items you needed! The decor was lovely! The owners were great and easy to communicate with. Unfortunately, we didn't get to use the extras in the house (bikes and kayaks) since it rained most of our trip. This property was perfect location for me about 10 minutes to Oak Island Beach and Southport in a very quite neighborhood. It’s less than a mile to best Italian Restaurant in area Joseph’s Bistro. House is very well maintained extraordinarily clean and accurately pictured, represented on website. Already planning a return stay.
