About this chalet rental
Set in Palma de Mallorca, 400 meters from Cala Major Beach, this chalet with private pool offers lot of space for 7 people. It’s just perfect for a beach and city holidays and it is 5.5 km from Santa Catalina.
The house is in a lovely residential area, between the city and the sea. Restaurants and bars are nearby; and you can walk to the beach and the bus station. Son Vida Golf is 4 km from Ca Na Salera, while Palma Nautic Club is 6 km away. Palma de Mallorca is full of culture, leisure and good restaurants. The Santa Catalina quarter is famous for the Saturday market where you can eat tapas before going for a few drinks in the bars around. At the same time, Santa Catalina is a reference for culture and art galleries, same like Sant Jaume. Along the sea promenade, called Paseo Marítimo, you will find many bars and discotheques, including Garrito’s Café and Tito’s. The Porto Pi shopping center with clothes shops and supermarkets is 3 km from the house. A car isn’t necessary as all important services are nearby and can be reached by foot.
The pool overlooks the roofs of Cala Major, a quarter in the outskirts of Palma. The x 4 meters salt water pool with a depth ranging from 1.4 to 2 meters is surrounded by a sun terrace with several loungers. A staircase leads to the barbecue zone and there’s a terrace at the first floor for great al fresco dining, enjoying city views. After the beach, you can use the exterior shower to wash off the sand.
Rooms are decorated in a clean and simple way and have parquet flooring. The bright living-dining room has access to the terrace and features a sofa, satellite TV and air conditioning. A well equipped kitchen with coffee machine, ceramic hob, microwave, toaster and much more is available. You can choose between four bedrooms, two rooms with a double bed, one with 2 single beds and the latter with 1 single bed. There are two complete bathrooms (one shower and one with bathtub) and two toilets. There’s A/C in the living room and in the corridor where the bedrooms are. We can prepare a cot and a high chair and there’s a washing machine and an iron with ironing board.

Great little villa a 5 minute walk from the beach and tons of restaurants. The pool was amazing too. There is construction on the week days next door but it didn't bother us too much.
It's on top of a steep hill but worth the climb! A great deal.

Bon séjour
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour !
La maison était bien située, à quelques pas de la mer et pas trop loin du centre ( 7€ en taxi ). La piscine et la maison était très agréable malgré quelques petits défauts.
