About this house rental
This delightful country style house boasts 180-degree views of Lake Moogerah with tranquil wide-open spaces and lots of natural light. This house carries all the charm and quirk of a farm cottage without skimping on any of the modern comforts of home.
This charming old house has character that shifts with the seasons. During dry periods, the doors might be snug, while in wetter times, they may become looser. The 60-year-old aged flooring and over a decade old floor coverings, add to its unique charm. If you're seeking modern luxury, this might not be the place for you. However, if you appreciate charm, cozy beds, tranquillity, and beautiful views, you'll love it here.
We only offer our lovely old house to guests for only a limited number of nights and weekends each year, which is why it may seem pricey. The cost reflects its rarity and charm, not a five-star rating. This home isn't for everyone, so please review the photos carefully before booking to ensure its what you are looking for, for your next staycation.

This property is equipped with two external security cameras overlooking the deck, spa, fire pit, shared entry road and general outdoor areas for general safety and property protection. Cameras are not actively monitored during your stay, and footage is only reviewed in the event of an incident. You will find these cameras on the Northwest Corner Eave on the deck, and the Southwest Corner Eave.
Guests may cover the camera on the deck during their stay for privacy if they wish, but please do so with care to avoid damaging equipment and remove any covering prior to departure. Cameras will move and/or reset position due to automated movement detection (i.e. If something like a bird flies by, the camera may revert to its original position). Tampering with the system may result in a call out & repair fee.

Gorgeous old Queenslander with all the amenities that you need. We’ve stayed at Moogerah quite a few times but the location of this place takes the cake. Just a pity there isn’t access directly to the lake for ski’s etc.

Really nice property with beautiful view of the lake. We had everything we needed and can't fault the property. Communication with Michael was very straight forward and easy. Would absolutely stay again.

What's not to love
We're supposed to stay 8 days but extended as didn't want to head back to reality. Even after the toilet broke our 2nd last night we were moved to another house which was just as gorgeous. It's not a matter of if we stay again but when and which house.

Too expensive.
Magnificent view. Too expensive. Toilet door does not close. Prevalent dog hair. Cream day couch in lounge unusable as covering has completely disintegrated . Needs a wood heater. Fire pit in yard is a small halved drum.

Sensational
Perfect location, so peaceful and relaxing.
This old farm house was perfect in the setting for a get away country home.
