About this cottage rental

Kune Crib is a large 3 bedroom Ohakune holiday home with a sleep-out on the main Ohakune mountain road. It features a generous kitchen, lounge, dining room and 2 full bathrooms. The sleep-out has it own bathroom and kitchenette. There is plenty of off-street parking for 6 cars. This home is perfect for groups or 2 families with children.

At this Ohakune holiday home you will be very warm as there are wall heaters throughout, a newly installed heat transfer system. a functioning drying room and gas hot water means plenty of hot showers after the ski runs.

Bedroom 1, 2 and 3 are in the main house. Bedroom 1 comes with a queen bed and a set of king single sized bunk beds. Bedroom 2 is fitted with two sets of double bunks with a king single bed on top and a queen sized bed at the bottom each. Bedroom 3 has a single bed and a queen bed.

The sleep-out has a double sized sofa bed and a set of double bunk with a king single bed on top and a queen sized bed at the bottom.

Kune Crib is only a short walk to the Ohakune township and 15 minutes to the popular Powderkeg bar and restaurant.
Please be aware the sleepout at this property is accessed externally.Please note that the property is adjacent to a stream so guests with should supervise children when outside to ensure they are safe around waterAll guests should take extra care when using the upper bunk beds as these do not have barriers to prevent falls.Please bring your own coffee pods for the Nespresso machine.Please note a bond may be charged at certain times of the year. One of our team members will contact you if this is required for your booking.

The location is pretty awesome!! close to whakapapa which will take around 45mins drive. (not bad tbh). We're 4 families consisting of children and teenagers, we got one room each for the three families and we used the sleep out outside for the other family (it has its own sink and toilet/shower room). the only downside is that the main house looks a little bit different in the picture as in the picture, it looks like it has a very high ceiling. the space of the living room is pretty big! it has utensils, cookwares, ref, coffee pot etc which are very useful! overall i will rate it 8/10!! def not regretting the appointment :))

The home was lovely, very clean, and readily accessible to restaurants and grocery stores. Check in and out process was easy. I would recommend this place.

Heaps of space, both inside and out. Hours of cricket in the front yard. A matter of minutes to walk down the road to the main shopping area. We had a great stay.

Spacious, warm and very family friendly. 3 generations of extended family enjoyed a long weekend. Close to the mountain, town and amenities. We really enjoyed our time and would definitely recommend. We are very keen to revisit. Thanks .....

Close to town center and very nice environment. The house just got everything we need - nice comfy living room; big dining table good for friends sharing dinner together; clean and nice shower and bedrooms are very good. We have had a very enjoyable stay at this place and will defi come back next time!
