About this apartment rental
This large and charming one bedroom apartment is on the second floor and overlooks a lovely garden courtyard. Light and airy and nicely appointed with modern and antique furniture, the flat has a big bedroom with a queen size bed and a spacious living room with queen sofa bed which can be closed off and function as a private second bedroom. High ceilings and walls 2 feet thick along with double windows keep it very quiet and cool in the summer.
The kitchen includes a cozy dining area and is fully equipped with dishwasher, gas stove, microwave, coffee maker etc. Roomy closets, parquet wood floors, a washing machine and garden access are some of the amenities.
Ideally located a block away from metro stop Jiriho z Podebrad and close to several tram stops, this 1920’s historic building with elevator is in the lovely 2nd district, Vinohrady, in the heart of Prague. It's only a ten minute walk to Wencelas Square and the National Museum but away from the tourist bustle.
The kitchen includes a cozy dining area and is fully equipped with dishwasher, gas stove, microwave, coffee maker etc. Roomy closets, parquet wood floors, a washing machine and garden access are some of the amenities.

We had a wonderful stay at Tad and Jana's apartment in Prague. The apartment has a large, well equipped kitchen with windows that open to a quiet garden courtyard below. We heard onĺy birds chirping and occasional lovely piano music during the day, and it was very quiet at night. The living room area was comfortable as was the large bedroom. The apartment was very clean. The apartment is very well located close to the subway system and buses. We walked to a lovely market nearby and there were grocery stores also within walking distance. There were really nice restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, and little wine shops in the area. The neighborhood was interesting and vibrant. We felt very safe. We attended events of the Prague Spring Music Festival easily by subway. Communication and check-in were all great. We very much enjoyed our stay and hope that we will have an opportunity to return in the future.

This rental was simply perfect for our 10-day first-time visit to Prague. The neighborhood is walkable and full of great food, drink, and parks, yet it's still a wonderfully quiet space to come back to after long days exploring the city. Easy access to anywhere in Prague via public transit, or on foot if you like to walk. The hosts were thoughtful and communicative. I cannot recommend more highly!

Lots of convenience stores and supermarket within easy walking, and there are weekend markets and wine shops. Don't bother with the restaurants. They are expensive. Buy your own food and cook in the excellent kitchen with big dining area.
The apartment is quiet and private and there is a lift. There is a bedroom with a comfortable double bed. There is a living room room with a double bed and a sofa. There is a folding bed provided.Two couples plus a single could live comfortably for a long stay. WI FI and TV are great. The owner lives in California but has a good couple on the ground to manage this apartment. Probably the best rental we have enjoyed in Europe in 11 trips over the past 10 years. At less than 200 US a night this is a bargain.

Tad and Jana's apartment is a treasure. It was spotless and exactly as pictured, with our travel to and from the airport helpfully arranged in advance by Martina, who met us when we arrived and saw us off on our last day. We enjoyed Prague very much, even though it was quite crowded at the well-known attractions like The Old Town Square and the Castle. Far and away, living at this apartment in the Vinohrady neighborhood was the highlight of our vacation. It was always such a pleasure to return from the touristic hustle and bustle to the peaceful environs of this apartment. For all the well-deserved celebration of this homey, relaxing apartment in the reviews, I am surprised that more people have not highlighted how quiet the neighborhood is. We slept every night in the very comfortable queen-sized bed with our windows wide open and were amazed at how quiet it was even on the weekend. Meanwhile, there are a number of good restaurants within easy walking distance - and the farmer's market was quite a treat, featuring an Asian food festival on one of the days we were there. Prague's easily accessible metro system, a short two blocks away, was the best we've experienced in Europe. And Tad and Jana responded quickly and effectively to any questions we had. In short, we loved renting this apartment and would do so again in a heartbeat if we decide to return to this fair city.

We enjoyed our time in Prague. Lovely city, very eclectic. The apt was perfect for out needs, but it sure would be nice to have another toilet. CHARMING & QUIET IN THE PERFECT LOCATION
This was the IDEAL apartment for us visiting Prague for 2 weeks. We were super close to everything but not at all in the touristy areas so we felt like we had a true "locals" experience. It's close to public transportation or easy < 1 mile walk to major attractions. There are lovely restaurants right outside the door as well as a near by grocery, farmers market and park. The apartment is HUGE! Easily could accompany a family of 4 or 2 couples. It has a washer/dryer and large kitchen and overlooks a beautiful yard. We had an amazing experience and highly recommend this beautiful apartment.

It is a spacious apart very clean , in a beautiful neighborhood and quiet zone. But also near the center with a Good transport network (Metro and Tram) . The Manager, Martina is professional and very helpful

Located in the Vinohrady area, we were away from the main crush of tourists, even though we could join them by walking 30-40 minutes, or in much less time on the metro, which was a few minutes walk from the apartment. There is a beautiful park close by, with views of the old town and castle. The neighborhood is beautiful- each apartment building has its own character, and most appear to have been either recently redone, or are extremely well-maintained. It seemed that down every street there was a wine bar or a restaurant- lots of variety, and we found the quality to be excellent.
The apartment is spacious and, although not modern, very clean and in great condition. Adding to that is the eclectic art and furnishings that creates a very cool vibe. Communications with the owner were fast and efficient. We really appreciated the greeting and car services arrangements by Martina: she was very friendly and helpful.

It's surrounded by supermarkets and specialist shops, cafes and a range of restaurants. The tram and subway stations around the corner mean that everything, including the city centre and main train station, are conveniently close. The manager, Martina, is delightful and helpful. It can accommodate up to five people. Great value for money! In Prague we wouldn't stay anywhere else.

5 star apartment in Prague
How do i begin to describe the perfect apartment in Prague!
Owner Tom was great to work with when arranging apartment rental. Martina the manager was the best! Martina arranged car service to the apartment which you should do, it's makes getting to the apartment so easy on your first day in Prague. The apartment is in the best location, everything you need within a block, market, metro, resturant, etc. the apartment is just like the pictures, perfect. You won't find a better apartment in a better location in Prague, this is the one to rent!

Wonderful retreat in Prague
My girlfriend and I spent a week in the apartment at the end of September / first week of October. The location is ideal if you want a quiet environment (master bedroom faces the garden courtyard) but which is just a short ride into Old Town, Little Quarter and other places using the red line. The apartment itself was much more spacious than we expected with a large kitchen, bedroom and living room.
Martina was kind and helpful - arranged for a car for transportation from the airport to the apartment and then gave us a tour of the apartment and the surrounding area.
We recommend Aromi for a morning Espresso and a delicious meal, less than a block away. There are also several small grocery stores and a fabulous farmers market within 1-2 blocks for those meals you want to make for yourself. The kitchen is fully equipped. We ate several meals "at home".
For us the apartment really was perfect and felt like a home away from home.

A Great Place to Stay in Prague
Another Five Star Review !!! This apartment deserves them all. The place is every bit as charming as its pictures suggest. The rooms are large and airy, with high ceilings and wonderful light. They are decorated with colorful art and comfortable, interesting furniture. The cabinet is loaded with maps and guidebook. Be sure to read "The Velvet Revolution."-- found there. ( We also recommend Madeline Albright's "Prague Winter." )The kitchen and bedroom overlook a small park. So nice to wake up to trees and birds with your coffee. A friend and I stayed for two weeks. We used both rooms as bedrooms and hung out in the kitchen. The parlor made a comfortable bedroom, I slept well while keeping windows on the street open. It's a quiet neighborhood. (After braving the crowds in the Old Town we appreciated staying in Vinohrady). The apartment is beyond well equipped. We enjoyed having a clothes washer; the diswasher was overkill. Thanks for the slippers and umbrellas!!! In European style, the bathroom and water closet are separate which makes sharing easier. The neighborhood is great. Don't miss the farmer's market three days a week. Be sure to stop for a coffee. It's just around the corner as are several nice wine and cheese shops, the best PHO carryout in Prague, and Aromi, part of a gourmet empire. Don't miss Adelaide's, a delightful children's/gift/clothing shop two blocks down on Polaska, toward the Tower. The apartment's a hop-skip-and-a jump from the a RED LINE metro station. The red line will take you to and from either side of the Charles Bridge, OldeTown, Mala Strana, theaters and concerts in minutes .....Pragues' rapid transit is the fastest we'd ever been on. There are many Tram lines within a few blocks of the apartment. Prague is so wonderful, with so much to see and do. You probably wont spend much time in the apartment. But that time will be charming and quiet. I want to thank Tad Brady, the owner. It was a pleasure making arrangements with him. I really appreciated his prompt replies and friendly manner. And Martina, the manager, who arranged luxury transport to and from the airport at supersaver prices. Who was always just a phone call or email away. I am recommending that friends go the PRAGUE and stay in this great place I was lucky enough to find. If you've read this far, you have found it too. ENJOY PRAGUE. What a very special place!!!,

Holoday
My sister and I stayed here for the week between Christmas and New Years. It was perfect for us. Martina, the manager was away part of the time for the holiday, but she made sure we were met at the apartment and provided everything we needed. It is very pretty, comfortable, clean apartment in a quiet, lovely neighborhood. It felt like home right away.

Extended for a second week
After a week in Prague (our first visit to the Czech Republic), staying in this apartment, we loved Prague and the apartment so much we booked it for another week a few weeks later and invited our son to join us.
The apartment worked out beautifully for us. The kitchen is very well equipped together the farmer's market that is twice weekly in the park around the corner made for some memorable meals. The neighborhood is not touristy, but "real" Prague, with local food, wine and bread shops abounding. It was a great location and we look forward to making this an annual event.

Perfect Apartment and Location
This apartment was the perfect home-away-from-home for me. I was in Prague attending an art workshop for ten days, and extended my stay for a little longer. I have rented VRBO apartments all over the US and abroad, and have to say this one is one of my favorites. Very charming and cozy, sunny, bright, and of course all the old-world charm of Prague including wonderful tall ceilings. Beautiful big old windows, a wonderful fully-equipped kitchen, and very cozy bedroom. The front living room area was very cozy as well. The location couldn't be better ~ steps from the Metro which got me all over Prague in minutes, as well as easy walking distance to shops, grocery store, pubs, and restaurants. The owner couldn't have been more accommodating, as well as his local manager, Martina, extremely helpful and took good care of my needs. Highly recommend this apartment, you won't go wrong. Enjoy!

Lovely Apartment
This apartment was much bigger than I had anticipated, which was lovely! Everything was very clean and straightforward.
It was easy to check in, and the tour around the apartment was helpful. The kitchen was fully stocked with all necessary cooking tools, and it even comes with a dishwasher!!
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a nice apartment away from the noise of the city, but within two blocks of a subway stop.

Wonderful neighborhood
My wife and 20 year old daughter and I stayed a week and had a very good experience with the rental of Tad & Jana's flat. Tad was easy to communicate with and prompt in getting us our deposit back. The flat was roomy and comfortable, and it couldn't have been much easier to get around town from there. I particularly loved the local farmer's market that pops up in the nearby transit square on Saturdays- great sausages if you fry them up with fresh peppers and onions! Lots of local restaurants if you don't want to cook.
If you want to stay in a Four Seasons Resort, this may not be for you; for my family at least, it was a wonderful flat.

Prague's best
We rented this apartment for 15 days in June and July. It is much more spacious than the pictures would suggest. We stayed there with our grown son and found it to be very comfortable for all. We will definitely want to stay there again if we return to Prague in the future. The neighborhood is very pleasant and convenient. Be sure to have breakfast at the French restaurant around the corner and dinner at Aromi a little over a block away. Consult the book prepared by the owners for other helpful suggestions about food and other aspects of your stay.
