About this house rental
This home is approximately 8 miles or 15 minutes from Downtown Galena. This home is NOT pet-friendly. You must be 25 or older when booking and present the entire stay
This spacious 4-bedroom home with a Large Outdoor Hot Tub and Pool Table is nestled in a serene wooded setting in the beautiful Galena Territory. 3 King Beds, 1 Queen bed, and 2 Twin beds will delight your guests. The home's main level is the place to enjoy your friends and family. The living room has a large fireplace, kitchen, and dining room, all open to each other. There are 2 Master En Suites, one on the main level and one on the lower level; these will allow you to stretch out and enjoy some private spaces while being close to the action on the main level with open dining/living rooms and a kitchen. Also on the main level is a front room with 2 twin beds, replacing the sofa sleeper in the lower level for your +2, allowing the home to sleep 10 in beds. There is another bedroom on the second floor with hallway access to a bathroom with a tub and a shower. In addition to the King ensuite on the lower level, there is a Queen bedroom with hallway access to a full bathroom. (This home had a sofa sleeper for years, which continued to get broken, so the owner has installed 2 twin beds in a common space upstairs to sleep your +2). The garage is not available for guests to use.
The home is just a few minutes from the Territory Owners Club (pool, fitness center, and more), Lake Galena, and is close to several Golf Courses and Spa. Just fifteen minutes to historic downtown Galena and Chestnut Mountain!
You will have access to the GTA Owners Club while staying with us. The indoor pool is open year-round, and the outdoor pool is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The club is an exclusive amenity that can only be used by Galena Territory property owners and their guests. The Owners' Club includes an indoor swimming pool, an outdoor swimming pool w/slides, a kiddie pool, a fitness room, a game room, indoor/outdoor basketball courts, tennis courts, a seasonal snack bar, free WiFi, and an outdoor playground. Don't forget to visit Lake Galena, The Shenandoah Riding Center, and hiking trails throughout the 6,800-acre property. Please remember that the usage of the amenities is NEVER guaranteed. We do not offer discounts or refunds due to their closure.
When you book a home with us, we will require 30% down; this is a payment, not a deposit. The full balance is due 14 days before check-in. If you cancel before the 14 days, you will receive the first payment minus a $35 cancellation fee. At the 14-day mark, your stay will become non-refundable, and dates cannot be adjusted. Your payments will automatically be processed to the card you place on file when booking. Our cancellation policy is not flexible, so we highly recommend travel insurance.
Please Note: You must sign an electronic rental agreement at the time of booking; we ask that you sign and file it within 48 hours of receiving it to guarantee your reservation. Your rental agreement (sent after booking) will reflect the due dates and amounts.
Check-in details are sent to the email on file three days before your arrival. This includes the home's address, the access code, and other pertinent home/area information. Early check-in is never guaranteed and cannot be considered until the night before or the morning of your arrival. During peak season, early check-in is not typically an option. We came with 4 other couples for a fun weekend. House was beautiful, but does require some maintenance. Nothing extraordinary, mostly cosmetic. Could use a deep cleaning, as far as the carpets,etc. Only complaint is room with double beds does need a door for privacy. Everything else was fine.

We arrived to a see that everything in this home looked just like the pictures. We turned up the AC (was one of the hottest days of the summer) to find out it wasn’t working. Called the property manager and she immediately sent HVAC out to discover that it was not fixable. She gave us the option to stay at the property with one night at no charge or to move to another home nearby which we did and it was much nicer at the rate of this home. Regarding the deep clean….there were cobwebs in windows, broken window cranks, and it smelled like smokers lived there not to mention the bedding and furniture was very dated. We will not choose this home to book ever again. We did, however, book the second property for next year!

We really felt that this house could use some repairs and better cleaning- broken window cranks with signs on them to not use, very bad smell in the basement where 2 bedrooms are, (mildew,damp, musty, not freshly cleaned), mildew seen in two showers downstairs, spider webs, and filthy dining room rug (crumbs and stains). Disappointed with how much we paid that the house wasn't cleaner. Hot tub was clean and a nice amenity however!

The house is large and has a beautiful wood fireplace. Could use a little TLC, felt a little dirty and dated. The windows are crank out and some of them wouldnt latch, so we had some cold coming in. A few of the shades were broken. I thought the beds were going to be to soft, but they were very comfortable. We had a fantastic time at this home in Galena. It's an ideal property for families or multiple couples as the bedrooms are all spread out and there are tons of bathrooms. The layout is perfect for central gathering with plenty of room for everyone. Beds were comfy, showers were great, view was beautiful. Close to town and skiing. Very bad smell, walls very dirty and mismatched paint everywhere. Furniture is old (cracked/worn/broken) and bedding was old/very outdated too. The couch fibers were broken/torn. Layout was nice and really could have worked. Fresh coat of paint, some new furniture, and new bedding would definitely help!

Cinnabar was a lovely home for our stay in Galena. It is very large and the amount of bedrooms and baths fit our group perfectly. We all enjoyed the hot tub and especially the pool table. The kitchen was well equipped and roomy for more than one person to prepare food at the same time. The weather was extremely hot when we were there and so we did not make use of the lovely enclosed porch but that would be great for a cooler day and the deck that surrounds it is a great size. This is the best home we have rented in the Galena territory. The only thing that would have been nice is if the room with the two single beds had a door.

House has more than ample space. 4 bedrooms with queen /kind beds and each has a bathroom. There is a fift bedroom with two twin beds.
House could be updated but served us well as far as space. Kitchen well stocked with plates / silverware and pots. Had both coffee pot as well as Keurig.
Amenities such as pool, tennis courts are fantastic.
One challenge with house is the bedroom on second story. A/C struggles to cool this room. Had temp set at 68 degrees and kids sleeping in basement froze while this bedroom upstairs needed both oscillating fans to be computable while only sleeping with a sheet.

This property is not worth the money being charged. The master bedroom and bath had dead bugs and dust bunnies, the mattress was lumpy and old. The shower door was about to fall off, the sink faucet spurt out water at you. The furniture in the living room and dining room were very worn and threadbare. The screen door to the hot tub came off track and was reported but not repaired. Refrigerator did not cool food properly, had to use coolers. All in all not worth the money and would not stay there again. Very disappointing...
