With four living rooms to choose from, guests can spread out or gather together in the 3rd floor Great Room where the kitchen is equipped with a massive granite bar with seating for 10, a dining table with seating for 10, a large living area with a fireplace and 85" TV.
All bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms are spacious, elegant and comfortable with premium bedding and linens.
The entire 4th floor is a Penthouse Master Suite with tremendous views of the Gulf, the Bay, sunrises and sunsets, the golf course and more. This suite has a comfortable living room, two outdoor decks and large bath room with double vanities, a shower and a jetted tub.
The Palace is Palmilla's tallest luxury home which maximizes the views of the Gulf and Bay as well as the golf course and a fresh water lake teeming with dozens of species of local and migratory birds.

A private 6-seat GOLF CART with a blue tooth sound system is included in the rental and provides convenient access to the Resort Amenities, the beach and the City of Port Aransas.
The on-site private salt water pool and hot tub area is resort quality and offers a private alternative the large community pool which is about 100 yards from the Palace. A large gas BBQ grill is included as well.
Palmilla Resort offers guests beach services including private chairs, umbrellas and air conditioned bathrooms. The community Pool & Guest Services are about 100 yards from the PALACE. The golf pro shop, Black Marlin restaurant and the new fitness center are also close by.

The home was beautiful and extremely well provisioned. Everything we could think of was included and available. The property manager was attentive and the whole experience was excellent.

This is our 2nd stay at this property. It surpasses any of the other homes we’ve stayed at in Palmilla.
Susan is an Amazing Manager which makes all the difference in how a person is welcomed!
Everything is pristine and well organized.
Susan is available to answer any questions at anytime.
The weather did not cooperate but the house is spacious and family oriented.
Even when ithe beach closed for a day or two we had fun.
We loved being there and will definitely go back!

This is a perfect property for a large family gathering. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space yet get together in the family rooms, pool or at the beach. The house was very clean and is equipped with lots of amenities that made our stay very enjoyable. The property manager, Susan, went out of her way to insure we had everything we needed to make our visit one to remember.

My family celebrated my 80th Birthday 16 adults and 1 8-months with me. Everyone was impressed with home. - this property far exceeded our expectations. The home is amazing and the golf cart made going to the beach and down town more fun. We enjoyed the community pool as well as the one in the home. Susan was the best property manager she was there whenever we needed her making our stay the best.

The house was amazing! So much room for large families to vacation and hang out either at the beach, house pool, or community pool. The kitchen was fully equipped and they had a high chair and playpen for small children…big plus! Golf cart was fun to utilize and take to the beach or community pool. The elevator was a huge plus for grandma and grandpa!! Susan was absolutely wonderful….she answered any questions or issues we had quickly…and put our groceries away that were delivered. Totally did not expect that, but was so appreciated. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your home…we plan on booking it again in the near future.

We have stayed in this home before and it is not only breathtaking with a fabulous view of the gulf, but the home is spotless, roomy, welcoming, and has everything you could possibly think of that you would need. Not to mention, the house manager, Susan, is incredibly helpful, personable, knowledgeable, and communicative. We rent vacation homes often, and this is by far my favorite home. I would give this property, and Susan, 10 stars if I could. Highly recommend!

PERFECTION!
We have stayed at Palmilla many times but never at this home.
Thanksgiving we decided to have all our children and grandchildren together. This house far exceeded any home we have stayed in the past.
From the moment we met Susan, she made sure our every need was met, and more. Helen chose an awesome property manager, definitely the best we have experienced. This home has absolutely EVERYTHING and more you will need for a trip you’ll always remember. Our family loved having the heated pool on cold days. The pool table and indoor activities were a must for us. The kitchen is huge and very well stocked with everything you can imagine. It was very nice having so many bedrooms and bathrooms for our large group. The house is beautifully decorated, the owners have thought of everything when building this home.
Thanks Helen for creating a magical home for large families to come together and make sweet memories.

This beautiful home is much larger than the photos can show. We had a group of 16 adults and everyone had more than enough space to stretch out. The home was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We are extremely grateful for Susan, the Property Manager, for going out of her way to help make this trip a huge success. We look forward to staying here again.

We wanted a location to house our adult children/spouses all under one roof and it had to include a pool on property. The Palace exceeded our needs and expectations at all levels. We had a great week at the beach, the Oasis pool, exploring the town and fishing. The third level living room/kitchen/game room was where we spent most of our fun time, and it was perfect. We really got a kick out of the Sisyphus side table and once we learned about the app it just got better. Susan, the property manager did not disappoint. As other reviewers have stated she provides a great service and is always nearby. We would definitely stay again.

Second year in this beautiful home. Nothing is lacking. Every room has touches and designs. A living space for every bedroom area.
The kitchen is amazing especially w the 2 dishwashers and the view. Same for master suite.
And check in with Susan is over the top! Even had groceries delivered from H‑E‑B and she met the delivery and has everything put away before we got there. She is a sweetheart and has a solution for any question!

Unbelievable, such a beautiful, great place for a large group stay. Literally had everything we possibly could have needed, and more! And everything seemed brand new, and very very clean, like it had never been used!
And the host was the BEST, answered any question or text within minutes.
I cannot recommend this place more, I would go back in a heartbeat. Above & beyond great experience

Every two years my husband and I rent a home for our large family to spend time together. We love the beach and making memories to last a lifetime there. We all live in Texas but have gone to Gulf Shores and Port A in the past. This was our second time in Port A and first time in this home. We would like to thank the owners for sharing their home on VRBO. It is beautiful and well appointed with amenities like none other we have ever experienced. They have thought of everything and it is all top notch. ( They had me at coffee provided!) Their property manager,Susan, went above and beyond to make our time special in many ways and she also so efficient and speedy in times when we needed immediate assistance. She is so kind and has the sweetest personality. The owners are Blessed to have her. James the pool "guy" was so friendly and complementary of the owners. We loved the location of the home overlooking the golf course. Our guys all played golf, we all spent an afternoon at Oasis pool, but most the time was on the beach. We did play pickle ball at the the local community park. Everyone enjoyed the house pool and hot tub after a long day. The hot tub really gets hot! Not always the case.
We had smores at the fire pit....thanks Susan. There is an air conditioned garage to play point pong in. I guess you get the drift...this house was great for our large family with kids 15 to 3. I could go on and on. We hope to return again.

Our entire family was there,kids grandkids and great grandkids. The entire place was beyond our expectations. Our host Susan Kirkman was so accommodating. She was very quick getting back to us with all of our questions and needs. She sent sweet texts letting us know she was always available for us. I absolutely would recommend this place, and hope to return.

This stunning home had plenty of space for our mini family reunion. 10 adults, 5 children and we all had our own private areas yet a fabulous gathering space with plenty of room. The views & balcony’s were our favorite parts of the home. Location is perfect to the pools and boardwalk to the beach. The provided golf cart was an added bonus even though everything is within walking distance. Amazing home!

We stayed in many beach houses prior to finding this property, and I can guarantee you, nothing compares to this home. The house is absolutely gorgeous and well-appointed. The hosts truly think of everything! You will be able to prepare meals in a kitchen that has everything you need for cooking or baking. The bar is well stocked with essentials. There is body wash, shampoo and conditioner in every bathroom!! They provide beach towels, as well!
The bedrooms are beautiful, and all except one bunk room have their very own bathrooms so there is plenty of room and privacy for all.
The living area and porch make it really hard to leave the house because the view of the ocean is breathtaking. On the first floor, the house has a private pool and a hot tub! And should you decide to leave, there is a golf cart available!!
Susan, the house manager, is always very welcoming and will be available throughout your stay should any issue arise or you have questions. She loves the island and will go above and beyond to make sure your stay is absolute perfection!!
There is also an elevator available that make it easier for guests who require that accessibility.
Look no further- you’ve found your island home!!

We stayed at this rental Easter weekend. Susan, the property manager, contacted us the week of the trip with details. She met us upon arrival and gave us a walk thru. She was patient and thorough with how to work everything. The Savant stereo system was amazing. TVs everywhere. The beds were very comfortable and had plenty of good pillows and extra blankets. We have rented several houses in Palmilla and honestly one of the many things that I was really happy about was that there were plenty of trash bags, paper towels and toilet paper..and shampoo and soap and dish soap. Rentals NEVER have "refills" and that stuff is such a pain to buy on vacation. The Laffoons and Susan have thought of everything. The kids loved the games they had, the Easter decorations, the pool and ping pong table, beach toys and chairs, plenty of beach towels and they even left surprise Easter eggs to hunt upon arrival for each kid. Seriously, NEXT LEVEL RENTAL. The Laffoons are fortunate to have Susan. We had a user error on the elevator and she was there within 30 minutes to reset it. 110% would rent this house again.

We are six couples with their spouses. We go at the end of the year to rest up and have fun before getting started with the new year. Each couple cooks one meal—and what a delight in that gorgeous enormous dream kitchen with the 6 burner gas stove! Each bedroom offered comfort and privacy sleeping in luxury. The ice maker was so convenient in making our cocktails! We played games on the dining and living room. We all enjoyed the hot tub and heated pool. The guys played golf while some of us girls went on a golf cart ride on the beach. Thank you for everything. It was a trip to remember!

This home has many great features for large groups! Lots of games & entertaining spaces. Upon entering, I was taken aback with the musty smell (but I always travel with LE Labo smell goods) Fridge leaked but they were quick to respond! : ) (for the price point expected better) Entry Code didn’t work night prior to check out - texted after midnight- no response - fortunately a door was left open by pool - nobody EVER addressed it! I’m sure a family will have fun here - I won’t book here again, ever

We stayed here for our beach wedding. The house is amazing! We loved the pool, hot tub, Soundsystem, games, gorgeous ocean views and the fact that we had the entire 4th floor as our private penthouse suite! Beach access is a breeze with the golf cart that is included. Property management was awesome and was always available when I had questions. I had multiple people ask "where did you find this place!?" It truly made our wedding weekend special!

Lafoon is outfitted with everything you need for a beach vacation in style. This home checks all the boxes: Clean, like everything was immaculate! Privacy and comfort in every bedroom, the beds and linens we are clean and very comfortable, we all slept well!
The kitchen/dining/living area is AMAZING and has some of the best views from the house, words don't do it justice - look at the pictures in the listing!
This is the tallest house around so the views from the many patios are excellent any time of day.
Pool, hot tub, nice golfcart, beach toys, pool and ping pong tables, TV,s, home stereo, elevator, and so much more. All of this would have been too much, but Lafoon has the most helpful and friendly concierge onsite! Susan helped us learn how to operate the house, without a pro like her around we would have never even figured out the stereo!
