The location is fantastic!!!! You can walk or catch the local bus to Fira & Oia and then come back to an oasis of less people. Just be aware that "living" on a side of cliff is no joke!! You will encounter stairs. Wear good shoes and take your time. The views are just worth it!!! Even climbing two flights to the pool resulted in a superb afternoon after a day of scuba diving. My room was simple and clean-a little shabby chic going on. My little balcony was heaven in the morning as I watched sunrise over Skaros Rock and beautiflul sunsets in the evening. The staff makes this hotel!!!! From my port pick up with Akris to Elena at reception, everyone I met was such a postive light for this hotel and I hope the owner knows how hard his staff works. Elena arranged a wonderful evening wine tasting for me and my transfers for my scubs diving. When I wanted afternoon coffee, the bartender was so helpful. The guys that run up and down those stairs for luggage and drinks by the pool-massive kudos!!!! Of course my lovely breakfast chef!! She always had a smile and I loved discovering what new things she created for breakfast. In order for this to be a 10 for me, I need better pillows. The are too hard! Being able to make coffee in the room would be nice (but do not know if there is some code) for my mornings on my balcony. Last, maybe letting guests know that when they share balcony space, be mindful of noise level and moving furniture can be heard.

Friendly staff and great breakfast. A very good location between Oia and Fira.
It's about a 20-30mins walk to Fira. About 2hr walk to Oia or you can take the bus. The hotel also provides a shuttle bus service for 30-40 euros.
Barely had any wifi signal in our bedroom. We had to sit on the balcony for wifi.

Not only did one have a perfect and beautiful view over the caldera, the staff was also very friendly and service-minded. Moreover, the breakfast was extensive and of excellent quality. Definitely highly recommended.

Everything was wonderful! The room, the staff, the view... I especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet that was offered in the restaurant. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay in Santorini.

Great room, with a nice plunge pool. Great view.
Staff were very helpfully.
Over all a great place.
Water tap in the bathroom was cold water only(not great for shaving.)
We found a long hair in the fridge.
The Breakfast was not great and inconsistent in availability (especially for the price paid).
Only on Day 1 there were 2 small bottles of water in the room. ( the tap water is not drinkable).

The location was superb and the staff were lovely. The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. The food in the restaurant was generally good, although the breakfast (included with the room) was very limited.
The pool area is very disappointing. The pool was clean (very cold) but unattractive, there were only 8 sun beds available around the pool, and most of them were damaged so very uncomfortable. I appreciate that building hotels literally into cliffs is challenging, but there were unused areas below the pool itself which could have been turned into nice relaxation / sun bathing areas.
We were a very last minute booking (we arrived at the hotel 45 minutes after we had managed to get the last room we could find around the Caldera as the original hotel we had booked was totally unacceptable to us) so we only had the most basic room which had a very very small shower room. However there could be lots of improvements made to even the basic room to improve the space - like extra shelves, hooks to hang towels on etc.

the view from hotel
1. little to no privacy. people were walking in front of our rooms and dipping hands in the tub.
2. tub water was cold
3. on the 2nd night there was a 4 hour electricity problem and blackout, and the only thing to do was wait. no compensation given whatsoever.

great location, less tourists, good view of the sunset/sea, good breakfast and the staff is nice and willing to help.
-too many stairs to get around
-some bugs in the hottub
-even though ours was a private suite, the outdoor area was shared with other tenants

Location is prime with a view to die for!
Food way overpriced and not very good. €48 for two lamb chops that were way over cooked and a few tablespoons of a mushroom sauce. I was starving after. Pool is more of an after thought but they have one. Bathroom faucet wasn’t securely installed. Lots of steps but that is to be expected for views like these.

In terms of view, the location is spectacular which is why I booked here. Unfortunately the maze of stairs and walkways are open to the public so not only is it a very rigorous task getting around the property, you also are dealing with sightseers walking around and looking at you while you are lounging in your own, not very private, space.
The rooms were not clean, smelled terrible, bedding was damp, impossible to get to the room with luggage. Had to pay 10 euro per bag for hotel staff to get the bags to our rooms and another 10 euro per bag on the way out.

I booked this hotel for the friends -it was a wedding present( collective gift from coworkers). I informed thet it will be married couple and that I expect warm welcome. Not even one single flower withe a simple small card with ,, All the best to married couple" was waiting for them. I am used to better standard of hospitality, when sometimes a bottle of win is left for new guests. Such a small gesture meaning much.....

The view is amazing!!!! Location is much beter than the Oia !!!!
The breakfast was not not so great. If on the top of your's room is a room with jacuzzi you hear the noise when they use the bubbles:):) really weird!!!( if they use it at 12 in the night you have to wait until they finish using it)
