Friendly staff, we were allowed a bit early on our room. And they moved our luggage to our room, which was very convenient. The location is also great, near the centre, close to all kinds of bars/restaurants and things to do.
It’s an older building, this means that you hear a lot of noises, despite that the halls are filled with warnings, people can be noisy at night.

The location was perfect, inside a beautiful old building and right in the center of the city. Despite being very central, it was still quiet at night. The bed was comfortable. The reception lady was nice and helpful. The self checkin was easy. The small balcony was quite nice with views on Plaza del Patriarca.
The place felt more like a hostel than a hotel. When we self checked-in, the room was dirty, the floor hadn't been cleaned and there was a broom left on our door, the shower had a lot of residues. The room was cleaned perfectly the other days so that was probably just an omission. The shower is very mouldy and the extractor fan is so dirty that it doesn't extract any steam. The shower door lets water out so the bath rug and floor were soaked all day. Definitely the place looks better maintained on the pictures than in real life. It's good that we could self checkin, but the reception closes some time in the afternoon and then after 8pm, so you have to organise in advance to iron your clothes, or if you need to ask them anything. The soundproofing inside the hostel is not good- we could hear other people walk, talk and close doors at night. In other hotels when you check in you usually find a bottle of water or a kettle with tea or some little details that make it feel more like a hotel and less like a hostel. It was quite good value for the price but I don't think you get what is described in the ad/photos.

Great location in the center. Good connection to metro, airport, trains.
Best Air-condition I ever had in any hotel world wide (which is important this summer obviously): Super efficient, not only super silent but truely inaudible, completely without the frequently encountered air conditioning odor.
Nicely renovated room and house.
The room was quite small. The room had no desk or chair.
A small fridge that is standard in this price segment was missing and would have been good considering the heat in Spain.

The hotel Location
We had informed earlier hat we would have a late checkin at around 10pm.
Did not get the email regarding code to the main door and room keys.
No one was at the reception and did not have proper contact number of the owner of the hotel.
Luckily some other guest opened the main door for us and gave us contact number of the owner.
PLEASE ENSURE EVERYONE HAS THE MAIN DOOR CODE AND THE KEY LOCKER CODE for LATE CHECKIN

The receptionist was good
The condition of the room was poor, there was a very strong, unpleasant smell and no clear fire evacuation plan. We checked out after one night

Incredible location and lovely staff. I really enjoyed the balcony it had a lovely view of the street. I really recommend heading over to the ceramics museum which is right down the street from this hotel.
Nothing! I live in a nearby town but when I need somewhere to stay in the city when people come to visit, this is my hotel of choice! It has everything I need for valencia.

Staff, location, it was clean. it was a very nice stay for new year.
I was able to hear everything happening in the room above. Some sound isolation would have been perfect.

fantastic location, comfortable bed
our shower kept overflowing, it was fixed after 2 days though. would have been nice to have a kettle to make hot drinks.

Good location, clean.
Didn't like check-in after 4pm. Room too tiny, no extra shelves or wardrobe for clothes. No lift.

great location, with cute balcony. Window doors were exceptional at keeping out light and noise.
3 flights of stairs to get to our room.

Amazing place with perfect location! On the edge of the old city and everything within walking distance. Check in was very easy and if you have questions they respond pretty quickly. Big clean room and lots of space, even a little balcony.
Hotel is just a little noisy, big wooden main entrance door makes a loud bang when falling into the lock. Room wasn't that well sound deadening isolated so alot of noises late at night when some guests aren't being considerate of others. Even though the staff put signs everywhere!
