Location is amazing.
I was not able to stay. I arrived past midnight and they want me to pay the reservation with a card and the deposit in cash. It was almost 1am. After begging the no helpful woman accepted and told me that the prices were going to be more. My answer was, no thank you.
I do not know what happened with this small hotels ownership/management. It is poor, prejudged and so anti friendly.

Old style of checking in even the remote for TV has to be checked out. We got the remote for TV but didn't work

having a microwave, fridge and table in the room. AC worked well
we were on the 2nd floor, the stairs were in disrepair, huge stain on the chair, molding on bathroom floor missing, the toilet was not stable. very overpriced for $172 per night, definitely worth only $70/night

I love how friendly the staff is and I love that they actually understand that not all Albuquerque people can afford a deposit and not all people are just going to trash the rooms.
I don't think there was anything I didn't like this place is absolutely amazing

. Everything about this place would amazing if the staff lady, woman would get a personality and stop complaining about dirt that she didn't clean after the last guest left!.

I like that they don't harass their guests like a lot of places in town do. They give you the privacy you would expect from a establishment such as theirs. The only part that was a little strange was the housekeeper knocked on our door the next morning and asked us if we needed anything and I am replied no thank you. She insisted that she be allowed to come in and check our room and we were not allowed to check in another day until she checked it.I didn't like the invasion of privacy. Her reasons were that some people have destroyed the rooms in the past. I was offended by their assumption that we would do anything remotely like that.
Ok so after spending 2 nights 1 week and then coming back and spending another 2 night the next week, I went to the office to check out and return the key and met my fiancee at our Budget truck we had rented for our move and decided to secure some boxes that had fallen before heading out. Just as I was finishing up an employee walked up and she said Excuse me but I talked to the owner a min. ago and he told me if you can't check out on time then you will not be welcomed back to stay here. It was a shock since we had never checked out late. They had assumed that because we were still in the parking lot and hadn't left yet. It was a bad assumption and to be honest I felt like everything had been great up until that point. The housekeeper thing was a bit on the strange side, but I was willing to overlook it because we didn't have anything to hide. When that happened, it made me reevaluate the whole experience. I explained we had checked out a long time ago and that I was just securing my things in the back of our rental truck. I don't know if she relayed that back to her boss or not so we can stay there again in the future?

Staff employee was courteous upon arrival and took my money. Upon entering my room I could see reasons past customers were unhappy. First thing I had to go the bathroom and almost stepped on a cockroach. Refrigerator was open with soaked towel and floor. Overall not very clean. Only booked room because it was close to Greyhound station and needed to leave early in the AM. On a good note bed was comfortable.

The outside appeared to be very clean and updated. There were new secure doors. The person I met at the desk was very helpful and friendly. The mattress and pillows were comfortable.
The place was broken down. It smelled horrible of cigarettes. The bath tub was rusted out with horrible patches throughout. I was woke up after only 4 hours of sleep due to a neighbor lightning up a cigarette. I felt like I was suffocating. I left shortly after being woke up at 3:30 am to get away from the experience.

Room was clean and bed was comfortable, when it stayed quiet enough to doze off. Staff was friendly.
Parking lot not lit at all, other then street light by the sidewalk. VERY NOISY location and paper thin walls. Could hear EVERY motorcycle and loud car radio going by. And the person next door on their phone at 3am. Gave up trying to sleep and left at 4am.
