Not value for money

Location to station, parking and close to friends we were visiting.

Very expensive for a very basic hotel and we have stayed in some very nice hotels. Small bedroom and very dark. Limited seating for breakfast and waiting for food preparation. Recommends sharing a shower to save water but doesnt have a plug to get washed or wet shave.

Serviciile de cazare au fost la nivelul asteptarilor, curatenia exemplara, masa bogata, produsele oferite suficiente pentru un mic dejun care sa iti dea energie pentru o zi de mers pe jos in Amsterdam. Cafeaua la fel, excelenta in variatele variante pe care le doresti, de la expresso la capucino sau cafe latte. Personalul foarte serviabil la orice ora din zi sau noapte. Ca sa existe si ceva ca minus: se poate mentiona lipsa minifrigiderului, insa la loby poti servi cafea si ceai non stop

Tout de même un bon séjour

Le décor est top, la chambre est spacieuse et propre. Le petit déjeuner est assez complet malgré qu'il pourrait l'être un peu plus vu le prix.

L'hôtesse nous dit que pour rejoindre la chambre il faut aller à l'extérieur "exit" en nous montrant par signe. Après avoir chercher sous la pluie nous avons dû hausser un peu le ton pour qu'elle nous emmène à notre chambre qui était bien à l'intérieur, c'est l'étage qui s'appelait "exit" . Pour le prix de la nuitée je pense qu'on devrait nous emmener à notre chambre automatiquement. Autre chose, l'hôtel n'accepte pas d'être payé en espèce, ça pourrait être précisé avant.

Un très bon séjour !

L emplacement est super. 15min de train depuis/vers l aéroport. Option de bus également (un peu plus long). Très bien desservi par les transports publics. 15min du centre ville par métro ou tram. Emplacement parfait pour visiter Amsterdam. La chambre de l hôtel est propre. L hôtel agréable.

Modern hotel where you can find inspiration among average

Modern hotel on strategic location with a very good accessibilty everywhere by bike or subway. Clean, but rooms are pretending some hitec which has no added value to your comfort and it is slightly unpractical. Hotel does not have any special atmosphere and some floors are connected with very industrial parts with no charm. However the reception and breakfast area has unique and quite distinguished atmosphere which we enjoyed.

I am not sure if it is cost effective. Breakfast is standard but nothing special. It is not easy to take free coffee or tea with you to the room.

Would not return.

The beds are comfortable and the metro is right outside with easy access to the centre and rokin.

On our third day we left the room in the morning just as housekeeping were arriving to clean the room, and returned at 9pm at night to find that our room door was wedged wide open and had been left that way for over 10 hours. The access corridor door was also wedged open and was on the ground floor right at the entrance. Anyone could have access our room throughout the day. I reported it to reception and got no apology and was told “check to see if anything is missing and if it is come back to us”. We didn’t notice anything missing but my bank card, passport and our cash were in the room that was open to anyone all day. When we returned to reception 10 minutes later to get a hot chocolate (which wasn’t working) we were told that we could have a soft drink of choice from the fridge for free and a complimentary breakfast the next day (the morning we were leaving) and that they’d speak to the housekeeper that left it open. We never received an apology though and I’d never stay again. The hotel is also advertised as adult only and soundproof which it absolutely isn’t. There was a baby two rooms down that was screaming throughout the night (which can’t be helped and I have no issue with) IF the hotel hadn’t been falsely advertised as ADULT ONLY and SOUNDPROOF. Which I have screenshots of on the booking.

Everything.. the way people live here . The old building...the museums. The night life. It's so much to see ..

Enjoyable

Very nice room, good facilities, conveniently located next to train/bus stations, lovely staff, good breakfast

Only downside was no window. No problem for us but might put others off

Very comfortable and a great deal for its convenient location.

The staff was extremely willing to help, truly appreciated the attention they gave my requests. Besides this, the location of the hotel is great, with lots of great restaurants around plus the metro is a minute away. The lights inside were very cool and the shower gel and lotion smelled nice.

The crevices between the bed and the wall were extremely dirty. We had to place towels on the shower floors in order not to slip. Extremely slippery when wet. A lot of noise from the halls leaked into the rooms. Wifi was terribly slow
