Not for long stay

Not much. It is just a glorified hotel in a palace that requires most guest to haul luggage up several flights of stairs—or pay extra for rooms with lift.

Hard beds, not much to do in little town, flies everywhere, having to pay extra for lift, not being informed on this site of no lift on most rooms, parking far from entrance.

another beautiful location in the hills. very comfortable, courteous staff and excellent food. a waitress in the dining room went above and beyond to make us welcome (I regret forgetting her name)

Beautiful surround and spectacular ambience

Good breakfast, nice Orange juice and fruit

It's not important, maybe a few more light points in te outside of the hotel (garden, trees, entrance...)

It was a fabulous place to stay- a special experience!

Beautiful Parador let down by poor service

Wonderful Parador with a great pool!

The food was pretty average and the service in the restaurant and breakfast was very average. Disappointing as our expectations were so high considering the location and the wonderful Parador.

Beautiful location, lovely little village. very friendly

lovely courtyard, great rooms and lovely staff

pool area needed a bit of love. Nice quiet spot with beautiful views just needed a little bit of gardening.

beautiful! absolutely stunning . very comfortable. room was a little dark but that is only because of the nature of the building . lovely courtyard . good parking and good in the restaurant was very nice . would have preferred the option to eat breakfast outside .

Lovely old castle in town, friendly staff, and easy parking. Beautifully kept!!

Bath/shower combination extremely slippery, one needs to be very careful.

A Happy wedding.

Overall this hotel is very very very good. Good choice of breakfast food, comfortable rooms excellent staff and the catered for wedding was top class.

As a hotel the only niggle was them closing the bar at 12pm and turning off the courtyard lights whilst people were still in the courtyard, nothing else.

fabulous location, beautiful and historic building make this a wonderful place to stay

the room was a bit underwhelming. obviously it is the size it is - but couldn’t they provide tea/coffee facilities?

Room and beds were 👍 great. Free car park. Lovely courtyard and gardens.

Expensive for only the room No water, tea or coffee in the room. Decor of bar and restaurant very dated.

A very comfortable base if you are visiting St.Jeronimos monastery at nearby Yuste.

Excellent location in the town. Our Superior Room had a jacuzzi bath which was very welcome after walking around St. Jeronimo’s monastery in nearby Yuste.

Noisy storks nesting in the trees outside our room.
