We had a lovely relaxing time at Vineyard. Unfortunately we were double charged for the room.

The stay was very relaxing in an incredibly peaceful setting. The staff were excellent and very helpful with our child.

Vineyard failed to check that I had already paid for the stay as I paid through booking.com and they therefore doubled charged the accommodation.

Fantastisk ophold

Super beliggenhed i udkanten af Cape Town og i et meget roligt kvarter. En fantastisk flot og stor have beliggende ned til en lille flod. Servicen var helt i top - langt ud over hvad der forventes på et 4 stjernet hotel f.eks. valet parking, baggageservice og turndown service og som en behagelig overraskelse, var der mange gratis flasker i køleskabet også vin og øl.

Bel endroit superbement équipé et agrémenté d’un magnifique parc. Idéal pour les familles. Repas sur place excellent quoiqu’un service plus rapide serait bienvenu. Super service à tous niveaux.

Just perfect in every way

I wouldn't stay anywhere else in CT. The staff are superb, nothing is too much trouble and everyone smiles. The view of the mountain is breathtaking, the sound of the frogs in the courtyard is so atmospheric, the rooms are comfy and you can control the temperature properly. It's a truly lovely experience!

Beautiful Hotel, Comfortable rooms, not all staff is as efficient and nice as some of the others!

Rooms are very comfortable, beautiful bathrooms, breakfast is outstanding with a lot of choice. The different places to stay, the bar area, all the seats in all areas, the coffee corner, it is a very comfortable hotel. Spa was also fantastic.

Last evening we had dinner and had to wait 2,5 hours for our mains, whilst 3x asking. We were the last ones left in the restaurant at 22h00 whilst we were there at 18h30. What I do not like is the all the sorry saying but at the end we had to pay the full amount, no drink on the house or any compensation. A bit disappointing for a hotel of this caliber. Also the staff is very fluctuating, some are very nice and make the difference in the experience, others are slow, not really joyfull and sometimes even rude.

70% of the staff were great , the remainder showed no interest. You had to be lucky on the day on the waiter that served you.

Parts were great, but an 8 not a 10

The dining room was a lovely place to be, delicious food, great staff.

I didn’t love my room- at the end of a long, bland corridor it was unremarkable and nothing special. The bathroom had little space for wash bag - a shelf or drawer would have been useful. Shaver socket didn’t work. Hot water supply limited in load shedding.

Awesome! Will keep coming back. The manager , Trust, as always gave us brilliant service in upgrading our room.

Excellent service by all staff, from concierge, reception , room service , waiters and housekeeping. The best location!

Could not have been better-a home from home!

Dinner and breakfast was great. Staff was very professional and friendly-a delight to communicate with.

Maybe a larger choice of Main Course for Dinner.

Incredible views, felt taken care of, fantastically helpful and kind and accommodating staff.

Amazing room, the view was exceptional, loved the breakfast options, and dinner was fabulous especially in the Mediterranean restaurant. I loved being able to eat on the balcony to my room as well as outside in the garden. Would come again and would recommend to friends and family.

Difficult to schedule spa time because it was booked up.

Am returning to this hotel later this year. The hotel gardens are absolutely superb.

Fabulous menu for breakfast - also an excellent breakfast buffet available. Dining menus innovative, great choice and extremely good food served. Service at The Vineyard is friendly and efficient. The gardens are seriously beautiful, well maintained and enjoyed watching the enormous tortoises roaming around. Super swimming pool and lovely views of the mountain.

Nothing for the price I paid - excellent value.

we had a very enjoyable stay. the staff were great!

the gardens are beautiful. Breakfast was very good and the restaurant food was excellent.

I feel the interior decor needs an update although it didn’t impact our comfort at all.

Perfect location, excellent staff and incredible breakfast!

The location was perfect! Close to shops and restaurants and a quick drive into town. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was also incredible, with many yummy treats.

I was very pleased to stay at the Vineyard and will definitely come back soon.

We really enjoy our stay at this special Hotel. You have friendly helpful staff the rooms are comfortable and clean. The restaurants excellent with good food and service. We will come back soon.

I battle to make a booking through an agent called Cleone. I asked for a quotation on a taxi to midtown and I never get the quotation as well as from Cleone. At the end I make a booking throw booking.com that cost me more.

Vineyard Hotel : the place to be in Cape Town

My stay at the Vineyard Hotel was awesome. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and large. Many choices of pastries, beverages and freash & healthy meals are served at breakfast. Do not hesitate to walk in the stunning garden at the back of the hotel to find a peaceful and relaxing environment. Finally the hotel is located in a safe area in Cape Town. It was a very good experience and I will not hesitate to come back to Vineyard Hotel (^_^). To conclude I definitely recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel is quite far from the City Centre.
