Dejligt ophold - sødt personale - super fede strandgutter og gode priser.

Det ligger perfekt ned til Copacabana stranden. Det er virkeligt lækkert at kunne passere en gade og så er du på stranden. På toppen var en lækker pool area med bar og bistro.

Elevatorerne er meget små på hotellet

Beautiful hotel, stunning views, wonderful staff

A beautiful hotel where the staff are always smiling and willing to help. Centrally located, with stunning views from our balcony, the restaurant and rooftop pool of Copacabana beach. We were so grateful for the early check-in, especially after a 11-hour overnight flight – thank you Talis! The rooms were spacious, cleaned daily and the bathroom was of good size with a powerful shower. The swimming pool wasn’t heated, but in 34 degrees it was great to cool off in! We loved the rooftop bar and the private beach area, exclusive for PortoBay guests. Caio and Isais deserve a special mention for their hospitality at the beach. The breakfast was fantastic! So much choice…and prosecco! Special mention to Wellington and Carlinhos who looked after so well and kept us topped up with coffee and alcoholic drinks! Saying that, every staff member was fantastic, and we had no complaints with anyone. I also had a lovely full body massage at the hotel spa, which was very welcomed after a long day of travelling. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Rio de Janeiro. We had a wonderful holiday!

If I was to make one small criticism, is that I found my pillows to be far too soft. Saying that, other guests we spoke to said they loved them, so I guess it’s down to personal preference!

Review of Porto Bay

Size of room great, the balcony with a view was nice, the beding was great and the view for breakfast. The ladies at breakfast and the gentlemen serving coffee was so good.

One gentlemen at breakfast snobbish. The breakfast was basic basic so little variety. Barely any veg options.

Merveilleux. Nous reviendront une 3 eme fois

Le personnel était incroyable. Merci à Wellington et Carlinhos qui sont des amours avec les enfants. De plus notre fille a été malade pendant le séjours et la gérante de l hôtel a été très attentionnée et nous a bien conseillé. Merci à tous pour ces belles vacances

Fantastic views

La posizione a Copacabana è ottima, la piscina e la palestra all’ultimo piano hanno la vista bellissima, così come la sala ristorante. Il personale è super gentile e disponibile.

L’hotel è stato rinnovato recentemente ma con materiai scarsi, non credo che dureranno molto. La pulizia anche lascia desiderare.

Le joie de revenir chez mes potes

Être accueilli par mes amis. Je reviens régulièrement et nous avons créé de vrai amitiés. L hôtel est bien placé. Excellemment bien placé. Chambre très bien. 19 étage avec vue sur la baie. Le rooftop est génial. Le petit déjeuner trop sympa. Là aussi retour chez mes potes. Il manque le champagne qui faisait le petit plus. Et et reviendra grâce à moi paraît il. Petits points négatifs. Insonorisation toujours limite par rapport aux couloirs et ascenseurs. Petits ennuis de wifi réparés après 3 jours Restaurant qui n est pas le point fort. Je déteste les cartes menu longues et avec les plats basiques pas disponibles et les cartes des vins qui font 15 pages. Mais quand on choisi une bouteille ben ça n est pas dispo Mais que ce qui sont quelques petites choses ne fassent pas oublier l accueil de Sascha , le 👍 du petit dej ou le sourire ravageur du responsable des services restauration . La literie digne d un château de la belle au dormant.

Super recomendable si amas copacabana

La ubicacion es perfecta si amas copacabana como yo! Es un hotel muy practico, ni muy grande ni muy pequeño, muy completo. Ofrece servicio de playa y el desayuno espectacular.

Que la limpieza del cuarto fuera mas temprano! Recien la limpiaban a las 2 de la tarde.....

Perfect location and amazing staff!

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Thais was always going above and beyond to make my stay more pleasant! Isais who was in charge of the umbrellas and beach chairs was also great!

Not the biggest deal but there was maintenance and repairs ongoing on my floor and at certain times it did get a bit noisy.

Amazing hotel and staff, location and views from the balconies it’s like a dream!

Amazing location, clean,comfortable and the view from the balcony it’s breath taken! We loved it! Simply beautiful!!!! Big thanks to Tamires, Thiago and Thays… all of them very helpful and thoughtful towards the guests. Breakfast it’s also amazing, lots of options, fresh items and friendly employees. We loved it! It was our first time at Porto Bay Rio but definitely it won’t be the lest. Looking forward to visit again soon.

Good hotel, good location, good room, good comunication, good brekfast. Cant miss booking here. We had an late flight so the hotel kept our luggadge for the whole day so we could go to the beach and provided a shower and towel afterwards.

Nothing we didnt like. I really can only recommend the hotel

Good but service not excellent

I Liked the location, the rooms, and rooftop.

Restaurant takes for ever for anything you order from a beer to a sandwich to a full meal. Staff is nice enough but not super nice, and they take forever to resolve anything you ask. Our safe wasn't working and it took 2 calls 2h apart for them to serolve it. We needed the doors between rooms open and it took 2 calls and going down to the reception, etc.

I love my stay it was to celebrate my birthday in march 2023! well located and near all Rio highlights by car! Best staf

the location front beach near several choices of restaurant, bars, cafes & shoppings! I did a run everyday at Calçadão Copacabana I felt quiet safe!

great breakfast but you can have less expensive choices n the streets around the hotel!the Staff is just amazing! they recommend great restaurants in Rio!

The lift made a frequent noise, audible from the rooms. They promptly said they would fix it. I didn't stay long enough to see if it was fixed, but they were welcoming and acknowledge my feedback

the service from everyone especially the guys outside . I’m well traveled and I’ve never received such great service from start to finish . you guys are the best and keep doing up the great work :) . the hotel is in a perfect location , opposite the beach where’s there’s restaurants, shops , bars, other hotels . the hotel has a beach spot where you can have your own chairs and table , security will look after your items if you want to walk along the beach top service .
