Nice man on duty was very helpful. The car park was full but luckily there was a cancellation and we were able to park. Important to request parking, if you need it, when making booking. The rooms were comfortable. Very interesting town with well preserved Roman fortifications. The hotel is fairly close to the centre but not noisy at night.

Very good buffet breakfast for 5 euros.
The hotel is outside the city walls and about 15 minutes' walk to the cathedral and the camino.

A ten minute walk from the old town, maybe less if you don't get lost like me.. it was a very down to earth hotel with on-site parking. You must have a reservation for the parking because it is limited . The rooms were not super modern, but they were very clean, and the hotel was inexpensive. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
It was fine.

My room was spacious with a small double bed, desk, chair TV; the bathroom was well equipped. They offer a good value breakfast with good coffee, although best to buy some fruit to go with their offering.
Good wifi signal.
The external blind didnt work so the room was light early in the morning, the room was rather stark, the shower tray became very very slippery. It's location was convenient for the train station but not for anything else. No restaurants close by and a steep walk to the walls and old town.
7.0
it was clean, good located for easy parking, and with heat that reaches a comfort temperature during cold days.
the bathroom needs an update, the shower was tiny and the shower head hook was broken.
The bed was not the best, and the pillow was extremely thin.

The room and bathroom were fine, but a guest spent her waking minutes constantly coughing and hacking up lung tissue. Not managements fault but I needed a good rest and 5 hours doesn’t constitute a good rest. Breakfast was usual but omelet was Luke warm at best and I had to pay when I was informed on their site it was a B and B with breakfast included.
Furthermore I was told parking was included. I thought underground or in front, not just over a kilometer away that took me forever to grab. This hotel is very misleading as are the company I used to book it with. Neither will have my business in the future.
I mentioned all above both pros and cons. My opinion. I pray the next 4 weeks traveling across Spain are much better. Portugal was perfect in all I booked.

Nice breakfast, though not an extensive buffet. Room was huge: small apartment rather than a hotel room. I forgot an item at the hotel and they kindly sent it on to my final destination after I sent them a stamped envelope. I really appreciated that.
Lugo has steep streets and your legs get a workout going from the hotel to the old town.

It was ok. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that.
Hairdryer not working. Bed not very comfortable. Overall it was ok though
