Beautiful old manor in the heart of Velez, lots of nearby cafes, sights and services. We loved our apartment with its high wooden beams, living area and kitchen and a beautiful bedroom . What an exceptional view and we got good use of the property pool 🎉
I loved everything

La Casa de Las Titas has a charming family story--ask about it! My particular apartment was well designed, comfortable, and very cozy. I could have stayed and stayed! I didn't have time for the pool--but that beautiful pool beckoned beneath my balcony. Local friends who visited me were thoroughly impressed with everything. Velez-Malaga is a clean, safe, walkable town with friendly, helpful people everywhere. One of Andalucia's lesser-known gems!
Not a thing! All was excellent.

No breakfast availability but plenty of options locally and a kitchenette to fix something.
All good

No breakfast service which is advertised .

The room is very big and smells super good, like a 5 star hotel. You can absolutely find everything to make longer stays feel as homie as possible. Anything from cooking utensils to a washing machine. Super comfy bed with an incredible good odor!! Only downside was the quality of the internet :/ but apart from that, everything was perfect! Very friendly and helpful staff. We never tried the pool as it was a bit cold during our stay, but it seems a definitely plus!

Great location. Pool. Ideal for Semana Santa.

Very clean spacious apartment with all the basics you would need in a kitchen. The TV had some English channels. Hot water in the shower & comfortable bed. Books behind the bed was a nice touch.
Lovely old features from the original house kept in the apartment which was interesting to see!
Within walking distance to main town.
We were kept awake the 1st night as room overlooked the street below where there had been a festival earlier. Could hear very loud people talking & motorbikes too. This however was not the fault of the very friendly owner that met us for check in. The 2nd night was much better & not noisy.
It would have been handy to have hairdryer in room, an explanation of how to use the aircon & someone at reception for check out Monday morning. There was no place to leave the keys so brought them back upstairs & left in the door of apartment.

Hospitality, cleanliness, helpfulness.

Nice appartments in middle of old town, walking distance to reasonably priced restaurants (vistied by locals), cafes!
Pool in courtyard and AC in room are good for hot summer days. Nice "antigue" furniture.
Even everything was working fine (or was immediately fixed by very nice owners) it shows age abit, maybe the noisy (20year old?) AC should be changed soon?
location in old town with usual challenges (parking, unloading car, cobbed street makes noise) - it is as it is :-)

The sofa was a bit uncomfortable to sit on. I think due to it being a sofa bed. Everything else was excellent.

Beautiful building and friendly host.
Nothing.

I arrived by ALSA bus from Malaga to the bus station in VM ( very easy and cheap) and it was a 10 minute walk to the hotel.I arrived late but that was no problem for Jesus and Pablo who were so helpful. Everything you need is in the rooms of the 1 bed flat which is huge ( except hairdryer which I borrowed from reception ). This is a very old , fascinating building and has an outdoor pool - too cold for me in Novemberr! The wall heating was effective and meant a cosy stay. Spotless throughout - well done cleaning staff. The location was excellent , in the old town.
Can't think of anything really.

Stayed here twice now and both times have been excellent. Would highly recommend and of course stay again and again.
Liked everything.

The hosts are very nice, the hotel's location is all you can wish for (it's centrical but it's quite close to the bus). It's quiet. The rooms are big and generally very clean.
There was only one blanket which was not enough for cold November nights.

No breakfast available because of Covid. What I liked, building, cleanliness, area, staff so friendly
Bathroom in Apartment 3 needs an update, broken tiles on base of shower

The apartment was a two minute walk from the sights, cafes and shops, which was what we expected. The Axarquia is a lovely area to explore and we visited some interesting villages, like Comares. Once back in Velez Malaga we could find cafes and bars and supermarkets
Booking, com should indicate when parking is an extra cost. It didn't matter to us but it may to other folk.
The castle was closed for fumigating, but we had to tell tourist information. We had climbed up and up to get to the castle.

The room was a great size and comfortable in a good location
I asked about parking when I made the reservation and parked where they recommended, only on checking the booklet in the room did I find they offered a discount scheme with the car park which would have saved me €6 per day. Not to tell me about this was remiss.

Lovely Spanish Home with patios.
Took ages to find it!

This has got to be the cleanest place I have ever stayed in with everything laid out in an easy to find way.
The value for money is excellent.
The view is wonderful.
The staff are absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful!
The 2 ring induction hob is quite basic, but not everyone would want to cook that much anyway with so many lovely restaurants so near! Definitely breakfast friendly though.
4.5
The apartment was large with really high beamed ceilings, the bed was comfortable, there was plenty of wardrobe space. The kitchen was well equipped. The pool was clean and in a walled courtyard.
The sofa and chairs were rather worn.
