Un lieu paisible

Un hôtel très paisible proche de Ubud avec un personnel attentionné

L'hôtel mériterait d'être rafraîchi à certains endroits notamment les chambres qui font vieillottes.

Family trip

beautiful hotel, food was good and staff were OK as well.

The hotel felt very impersonal due to it being a large resort. Other hotels were more homely and true Balinese style

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt im The Payogan Hotel Ubud und können es nur wärmstens empfehlen! Unser Zimmer, Nr. 108, war einfach traumhaft. Die Aussicht auf den üppigen Dschungel war atemberaubend und hat unseren Aufenthalt wirklich unvergesslich gemacht. Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war hervorragend – komfortable Betten, eine stilvolle Einrichtung und eine ruhige Atmosphäre haben für unser Wohlbefinden gesorgt. Wir haben jede Minute in diesem wunderschönen Riesen Raum genossen! Der Service war ebenfalls erstklassig. Das Personal war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit, und die Annehmlichkeiten des Hotels, wie der Infinity-Pool hat unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt, um Ubud zu erkunden, aber dennoch bietet es eine ruhige Rückzugsmöglichkeit. Wir würden diesem Hotel 100000/10 Punkte geben! Vielen Dank für einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt – wir kommen definitiv wieder!!!! Aber bleiben diesmal viel länger dort 5 Tage waren viel zu wenig!!! Ich würde noch mehr wunderschöne Bilder reintun aber geht leider nicht. Ich empfehle es jeden herzlich!!! Alles war unvergesslich schön

Magnifique hôtel dans la jungle

Le personnel de l'hôtel est au petit soin avec nous. le lieu est magnifique dans la nature et les petites villas sont très sympas. La chambre et la piscine privée sont grandes. l'hôtel propose également un service de navette et des chauffeurs vers Ubud.

Le restaurant et le spa sont un peu chers par rapport au prix à Bali.

Lots of room for improvement! Not up to mark !

The room ( Pool Villa) was spacious and nice ..the location is awesome with a nice forest view from Balcony ..the pool is nice with a infinity kind of view ..but the service is absolutely not up to the mark ...the pool and other amenities in the Villa were good ..The food at the restaurant was nice but won't take orders beyond 10

AC wasn't working in the room ..one day the water went off in the washroom which wasn't even informed to us ..the staff isn't capable enough to handle all this and at times seem rude ..there's no option of dining even in the room beyond 10 ..in case you reach late you won't get any food ! Even no room service beyond 10 ! So didn't feel worth the price at all !!

Emplacement sympa et calme mais je n'y retournerais pas.

Le parc est magnifique, la situation proche de ubud est interressante. Cependant on ressent un manque d'activité de dynamisme dans ce complexe.

Il n'y aucune ambiance. Pas d'emplacement sympa proche de la piscine centrale et du bar. Je ne remets pas en question la gentillesse des employés mais il y a un manque de professionnalisme à ce niveau de prix. Il y a bien une personne à l'accueil qui essaye de faire quelque chose mais c'est pas ça. Nos chambres bien que spacieuses étaient tristounettes. Un conseil demandez les chambres en haut du domaine voir au milieu mais pas tout en bas.

Piscine Personnel (disponibilité, gentillesse, accueil,....) Logement Room service Le calme comparé au centre d'Ubud surpeuplé, pollué,....

Le coq qui chante toute la nuit Si envie d'aller au centre d'Ubud prévoir 3/4 car beaucoup de trafic routier, sinon 10min effectivement à 6h30 du matin.

Slice of heaven in Ubud

Such a beautiful resort. The rooms are huge and we immediately felt relaxed. The staff are so wonderful and welcoming they felt like family. They loved our little girl and she was so excited to see them every day. It was really really hard to leave! We spent 6 nights there. Its about a 10 Minute drive to ubud main center which was perfect for us.

The only thing I didn’t like and it is not the hotels fault at all is the mosquitoes! They provide a citronella candle outside but maybe some mosquito spray too would help.

Stunning location, relaxing stay, didn’t want to leave the pool.

Tranquil, peaceful setting away from everything. Very generous sized Private pool overlooking forrest a real highlight. Large comfortable bed. Staff generally very friendly, happy and accommodating.

Minor issue, maybe upgrade to TVs to smart Tv. As far removed from town, unwinding in room at end of day may be beneficial for some.

Brilliant stay with lovely helpful staff and amazing jungle views

We love the big spacious rooms with a big comfy bed and pillows. The staff was lovely and shown us around before booking as we had just came from a villa that we checked back out or straight away so we wanted to check everything was ok before paying money, which all was gorgeous and we went ahead and booked. We had afternoon tea and breakfast included for the price which was great. And the staff made you feel welcome. They helped us with our bags on the transport buggy and you can also get room service when you can’t be bothered to go out which is also great. The pool was a good temperature and a good size. The 2 seater bath outside is great and unique. And the views was bloody amazing. Over all had a lovely 2 night stay and would be back if ever in the area.

Excellent, loved our stay and hope we can go back soon

We loved our stay here. We had two adjoining rooms both with king size beds, lounge, bathroom including two baths. The views were beautiful looking out over a jungle canopy. We also had our own pool and garden area. Wayan and the team were incredible, they helped my mother (who has mobility issues to no end) with two staff members regular chaperoning us up and down the stairs. We regularly ordered room service often, the food was good. The cleaning services team came every day and did a fantastic job. Really lovely place to stay gardens are beautiful.

Everything was great, but there are lots of stairs throughout the property (it's set on a hill).

Great resort to stay for a night, but needs some seriously renovations and improvements.

- Staff were extremely nice - the actual resort itself is beautiful - good value for money

- Resort is aged, the rooms are quite old with electrical plugs, faucets, shower heads that don’t work that well anymore - the grounds are actually quite dark and slippery - I know it’s a tropical country but there were a lot of ants and insects inside the room - Towels and sheets were dirty and some smelled

Magical and peaceful stay in the surrounding of UBUD.

Amazing villas resort in the middle of the jungle. Totally found the Balinese atmosphere and scenery. Every employee was smiling and helpful. It was so peaceful. 100% recommend the Payogan villa resort to all my friends.

The staff is extremely nice and kind. The breakfast had a lot of options and was always delicious. The villa is very nice in a jungle environment.

We didn’t enjoy our stay much. I think it’s not suitable place for family with young kids.

Green environment, surrounded by river, gardens. A beautiful resort to explore and take photos on sunny days Friendly staff

Breakfast and Lunch is not good Bathroom, sunken bathtub and toilet are located outside of the room and I felt its quite scary to get out of the room to use the bathroom or toilet at night (always asked my husband to accompany 😂). The bathroom has no door, so there is no privacy. The water was not very strong, so it took me very long to shower and I still didn’t feel clean after the shower. In the bathroom, there is only ceiling shower head and not handheld one, so I had to bathe my kids in the sunken bathtub which has handheld shower head. The issue is, as the sunken bathtub is outdoor, there were many ants and insects crawling inside, so I had to clean the bathtub every night before bathing the kids. And as its outdoor, its cold and windy at night, especially on rainy days, so we had to make sure to take bath early everyday. Mosquitoes, ants inside the room and there was even a centipede crawling into our room on the 1st night, post seeing that, we didn’t dare to put anything on the floor.

Excellent premises and beautiful location with great service.

Loved the location, the resort and the accommodation. The staff were very enthusiastic and helpful. It is a beautiful and peaceful setting and perfect way to end our holiday in Bali.

very poor maintenance, everything was in poor state. the shower came off while taking the bath. the bath tub and tubs were broken and bathtub stopper didn’t operate . Moss was all over the walls.

A bit of work needed to improve the visual appeal

All staff were very friendly. Shuttle to city. It's a nice hotel being based in the jungle - nice green surroundings.

The villas/room look a bit run down & need to be revamped, for example, cracks in tiles, grout was not cleaned, bathtub was a bit green (mould, moss growing?) The bathroom was partially open to the elements. We asked reception for mosquito repellants to use in the bathroom because at night, there were so many mosquitoes. We were given a spray, but it would be better to have incence coils to burn all night & deter any further bugs from wanting to come in. Wifi is very weak & didn't work for 2 days. Better lighting in the room would be helpful. One time we used the tap, the water was brown - I assume this is caused by the rains. We hired a scooter via the hotel. The scooter was given to us on Empty & we immediately need to go to a petrol station. Scooters should not be given on empty tanks.

The worst experience

The worst experience ever, the 1st room that we booked was not the same one, the shower was outside and the weather was rainy!!! We asked to change room thus the 2nd room was not good at all because of a water sound leakage 3rd room was awful: there were many bugs covering all the room And its not value for money at all since we paid around 175 usd per 1 night Not mentioning that the hotel itself needs maintenance ITS NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL

The personal is extremely friendly and always take care of your wishes. They always are ready to help and have a smile for you. 🙏🏽😌 The location is great, is very peaceful and ideal to relax 😌

In general the hotel needs a renovation, the room was ok but some areas need a refreshment. The breakfast buffet needs more variety.

Everything as usual met and exceed my expectations, there was nothing I could not like.

Maybe the massage was a little on the expensive side, for what was delivered. Lack lustre at best.

The stay was spectacular, the hotel location is amazing, you can see the jungle Infront of you. The food was very good, the staff was very helpful and the spa was amazing
