Good location, friendly staff and nice rooms
Booked the hotel so that whilst I was at work my wife could use the pool to help with her arthritis, unfortunately 2 days before our visit you informed us the pool was closed for maintenance

Friendly, good local, good fast breakfast, stocked bar
No air con!!!!!

The staff and the breakfast were great.
The portion size re the evening meal was really small, especially considering the price, we had 3 courses and all of us were still hungry. Normally a starter and main would suffice.

Location
Looking very tired and needs a revamp

Location was nice
Upgraded to a river view but a big oak tree was in front of the window. Wi-Fi very slow.

It was all good

Sadly not much
The room was basic.
The mattress was awful
Pillows were hard
The building was damp
The room was off-site, so more motel than hotel.
Breakfast was cold undercooked
Scrambled egg was well. I can't really describe.
Hairs in bathroom ,cobwebs, there was bits all over the carpet,I know it's 3 star, but we've stayed in many 3 stars that should have been 4.
The tables outside had not been wiped down. We've stayed here many times. This was the worst experience. it's such a shame because with some tlc and a big influx of money, it could be so nice

Location by the river/racecourse
For the money it was very run down, jaded, rooms were decorated and painted as if a 5 year old had done them.

No issues everything was fine

The location
The breakfast was very good individually cooked
It needs TLC
It's tired, thread bear carpets, stained sheets, rotting wood on the balconies, uncomfortable mattress, the sofas in the bar were full of dust.

We had a great room overlooking the Hackney Marsh. Perfect for bird watching and sunrises
Enjoyed use of the swimming pool & sauna.
Beds were extremely soft and disturbed my sleep.
Breakfast was nothing special. Scrambled eggs on first day were good, after that they appeared to be microwaved and didn't taste good at all.

brilliant location and the view from the bedroom window across the estuary was stunning
the property is a little tired and in need of a refresh.

Prices at the bar £7.80 for orange juice and lemonade...

Bar prices expensive and evening menu very limited

The view, the room, the food in the Inn, staff were friendly
Extra pillows possibly stored in the cupboard.. but can't complain as we didn't ask for them.
The breakfast buffet was okay but staff explained it was only because they had a large party to cater for.
Bed could of been abit better but was okay

Lovely apartment and nice clean hotel
Lovely walk along the estuary
Nice Christmas break
Staff so helpful.
We took our daughter who is in a wheelchair all staff very helpful and accommodsting.
We had the joy of an apartment where we could cook and eat at a time that suited our family with the same hotel benefits such as bar, pool etc.
Nice little games room too

Excellent locations as I was looking forward to do some bird spotting on the estuary. Unfortunately, it rained all the time I was there.
Nothing, apart from the weather.
