Overpriced for a room which should be marketed for £40 per night and not £90, nobody can justify charging that amount fo

Staff were helpful and breakfast was good

The room was very small, very dated, not clean, not comfortable, shower only had one temperature which was unbearable hot

Very disappointing accommodation would not recommend it or stay there again! Overpriced and not 4 *

Breakfast was good

Arrived to live band very loud, went to our room couldn’t hear the tv from the music, we were directly over the band! Room was not 4 star whatsoever and completely over priced! Grubby carpet didn’t want to step on it barefoot, bad paintwork, bad plasterwork, I would not advertise this as hotel but a pub with rooms!

Enjoyed our overnight stay bed was very comfy and we had an excellent Sunday lunch.

I think the breakfast was a little disappointing, you could just select one item and as it is cooked to order we had a 40 minute wait which is understandable but it would have been good to be able to have some fruit or cereal while we were waiting.

The coffee was weak.

No close parking and our bedroom was in the front and was quite noisy with people and deliveries outside

Dogpole room

The breakfast was delicious and actually saved the stay

The room was at the back with no Outlook, a dirty roof strewn with rubbish, it was dark ,and the noisefrom the fans from the kitchens was awful, the room decor was shabby and grubby, it needs a good clean and decorating, the bin hadn't been emptied and had used makeup pads very clearly all around the top.

Disappointed with room

The location is fantastic as is the bar and staff

The sash windows are broken/painted shut. The room was hot and stuffy (the fan didnt help much). What if there was a fire!!!! The coffee was soooooooo hot it burnt my mouth

Very good

Convenient to town. Great that you can have a drink and food on the premises.

Although breakfast was good, I would have liked cereal. We also had a slight problem with the shower. When you turned it on the shower head tilted towards the wall!!

Ideal for a stay in this delightful city.

Great location with easy access to the many shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes in the town centre. Car parks across the road from the location. We received a warm welcome, loved our room, and thoroughly enjoyed The Loopy Shrew’s food and drinks that evening, and breakfast before we left. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

The room was not good AT ALL. If you have ever paid a few euros to have a room until your flight, it was like this. It was nothing like the rooms advertised and I suspect a member of staff was probably kicked out of it so we could be put in there. The room was named Dogpole, I would suggest insisting you are not allocated this room. I have attached pictures. Poor. I have stayed at the Townhouse also owned by these people and could not fault it. Like a lot of tourist places, complete lack of respect towards a paying customer. We will not be back

Comfortable room, excellent food. Good for a young person who enjoys music on the weekends.

The room was darling and very comfortable. The food was over the top! Five star breakfast!

it was a little noisy until about 10 PM with a band playing in the bar downstairs. But it wasn’t bad.

Loopy nights

Prime spot for all places.. Great food Inc Breakfast Great staff

Stayed in room 106..I am not one to complain..but the double bed was like trying to sleep on concrete. It was so hard and lumpy..sorry but needs a New one.. And I know this is not your fault. But I had to get out of bed at 2.30 ish to a group of young people who thought it would be fun to have a party on the area outside our room.sitting in the chairs and on the floor..it was so loud.i had to open the door and tell them to pack it in...10 mins later they decide to go to there rooms... Have stayed here numerous times and no issues..
