Staff were very helpful and friendly
Too a while to get a drink at the bar. Didn’t seem to be enough staff.

This is a 5 star luxury hotel with all the amenities including a pool with lap lanes, sauna, etc. We walked to the St. John's castle which is a must-see attraction. The surrounding neighborhood took us back hundreds of years.

Lovely hotel . Comfortable, clean, central
Cost. Very expensive. 305 euro for double room which did not include breakfast. Then 17 euro on way out for parking. Hidden costs unfair.

Great room- Very comfortable beds.
The staff were fantastic- especially Siobhan on reception who was amazing.
Ate dinner in the restaurant and the food and service was very good
Breakfast could have had more variety and choices. Lots of empty plates and baskets in the buffet.
Asked for a quiet room, but could hear music late at night which was a little disappointing.

The Strand was perfect for our stay. The staff were very efficient and went out of their way to accomodate us in a suitable wheelchair friendly room. We really appreciated their kindness.

Friendly staff, delicious breakfast, excellent pool & leisure centre
Confusing systems of lifts, separate lift to level -2 for the car park & level -2 for the leisure centre. This should have been explained to us on check in. One of our group spent 15 mins trying to find the leisure centre.

staff/pricing. they had an online rate that was €35 cheaper than I paid through Bookings.Com. Moral avoid Bookings and book direct!

We have stayed at The Strand many times, it's a good central location. Nice helpful and friendly staff and good breakfast.
This is no fault of the hotel, we had very noisy American Guests next door or close to our room. They kept us awake with their arguing.

Rooms were nice and clean. Booked executive level so had access to the executive lounge
Booked 2 rooms and had to wait for the 2nd room. Was never notified when it was ready so didn't get into it until after 4:00. Booked executive level and was told I got an upgrade for the wait but I was not on the executive floor.

one reception lady who was on duty the morning of departure nasty attitude

The price paid for one night should of included breakfast, however the breakfast was good and a wide variety was on offer. Staff in reception and bar were super friendly. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious.
The restaurant service at dinner was inconsistent and lead to mistakes being made with our order. Should have one server per table, we had multiple people serving us and asking the same questions. It became quite annoying and instead of enjoying a leisurely dinner we couldn't wait to leave.

hotel was beautiful state of the art. we got a king room lovely and comfortable.
loved our stay, went to limerick to visit family for the night. unfortunately having a background in hospitality I’m aware housekeeping have a list of rooms occupied. sadly the one downside to the stay was we had housekeeping knock on the door not once but twice before checkout. I understand one mistake but after we responded the first time she should’ve understood we were still in there and there was no need to knock a second time.
