Beautiful property with amazing view amongst rice fields
Nice big size rooms with own pool.
Amazing food.

Great hotel, great staffs very helpful, delicious food and stunning infinity pool with a beautiful sunset view. Location is good and very calm with beautiful mountains around.
Good for relaxing but not for visiting around the city. Quite remote location.
Insects and lizards are expected given that the hotel is located close to a Jungle (+ Tropical Country)
PS: Don't go if you are scared of spiders :)
Need to walk quite a bit from the private villas to the front desk/restaurants or take a buggy during night times

Nicely designed, well kept and friendly and very helpful staff
Only one restaurant and bar at the pool closes very early. Breakfast room is uninspiring

A stunning location, beautiful swimming pool and a great breakfast. Spa facilities are excellent and my massage was amazing
I think there are things that could be done to make the hotel better - better incentives to use the restaurant (there was only one other couple when we ate there), the swimming pool is amazing but having black ‘leather’ sofas in 30+ degrees isn’t very practical. Be more proactive about what people can see / do from the hotel - like the walk up to the White Temple for instance. The service is good - but the personal additional touches I’ve seen in other hotels in Thailand isn’t here.

not suitable for people looking for a plastic vacation as Paris Hilton. Lots of insects, lizards, bugs and pure nature. noce roof top pool surrounded by jungle with an amazing view of white temple which is 999 steps up, decent bfast, decent spacious room, nice jungle garden, food all right

one of the most beautiful places I’ve been too!

Location in the hills outside Chiang Mai.
Comfortable spacious and clean room.
The breakfast and dinner experience was average. The hotel should provide adequate choice and quality of drinks at breakfast time. The coffee/tea facilities were poor.

I liked the whole environment, the combination of nature and modern architecture, great balance together.
the details of everything, the rust water tap, leftover cigarette by our pool, the stain of the sofa, the advertisement of flat selling…

The location and facilities were great. We loved being a 30min hike away from the White Pagoda temple, being able to see the local town and eat local food was great. But we could also retreat back to our own rooms or to the pool if we wanted. The staff were so friendly and accomodating. Always ready to help with whatever request we asked. I loved the rooms - so clean and well designed. The food at the restaurant was great too! Their Khao Soi dish was delicious. Taxi from the hotel to the airport was 600THB.

Our Scenery Pavilion was beautiful with great views; staff and service were amazing - warm, timely and professional; swimming areas were stunning; great bike tour to local temple and village; food was good, especially in the Higher Room; golf buggies always available to take you around the resort.
We thought the location was going to feel more remote; the resort is large but quite built up, and needs renovation in places; our toilet didn’t have a door!

Advertisment was impressive. Great to picked up by golf cart to reception. It's a little distance to walk to the reception as it was drizzling n walkway was wet n looks slippery. Staffs are all cheerful n friendly.
Don't deserve a 5 ⭐.
I had dinner at the restaurant that evening with a friend n his family of 4 staying at suit 999. We dine in a small hut on stilts. It was poorly lighted n not well ventilated.
Service was terrible as they were under staff. Food came slow n drinks only came after few courses.
At this point my friend got sick as it not ventilated n we asked the staff to send the remaining food to the room.
In the morning I noticed about 40 guests having breakfast. Place was a little small for a 5⭐ Resort. This resort is no comparison to The Dhara Dhevi Hotel Chiang Mai.
I have traveled far n wide n
sad to say but it's my personal opinion. 🙏

Had a fabulous 6-day trip at Veranda. Beautiful property surrounded by mountain views and grassy fields with an infinity pool that looks straight out onto the magical White Temple atop the mountains. Hotel organises a free walk to the temple (bewarned, it’s 999 steps to the top! good exercise to start the day!).
Very well-appointed rooms with smart design features (eg sliding doors to allow hot-tubbing with view of padi fields), and rooms were also equipped with straw tote bags, umbrellas, and straw sandals which we used for some outings. And complementary detergent amongst the toiletries was a useful plus.
We were taken care of in every way- buggies to and from reception to room, wonderful service every bit of the way, including suggestions from tour desk on where to go and what to do.
Turn down service every evening came with little treats on our bed- little cookies or thai desserts. The detailed care was everywhere.
I think this is the best place to relax amongst nature. We so appreciated not being part of the chaotic city- visited it a few times but was always happy to return to our serene and meditative hotel.
Btw there are complementary shuttles to and from town provided by the hotel. If timings dont work for you, use the Grab app - approx 200 baht (USD 5) into the old city.
Finally - room service was always delicious! Some of the best food we’ve had in Chiang Mai, esp the tom yum soup (think its called shrimp soup in the menu).

Beautifully designed and integrated into the landscape. Perfect place to relax and to enjoy nature. The pool is very big and the view from the pool is spectacular.

Honestly the best resort experience I’ve had in Thailand. The resort and views from the pool are beautiful. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice, huge bed, and have decking areas to chill. Very relaxing. The restaurant has good food also.
The breakfast could be a little more varied and the coffee is just from a small machine. It’s not easy to get a taxi or grab from the resort and the hotels transport is a little expensive but the resort is so nice you won’t need to go out so often.
