Breakfast was a good varied offering and service. The one and only real restaurant Vala was great.
- The bar at the end of the property was a restaurant for certain days and the food was not very good. It felt more like a make shift cafe turned into a dining experience where the price and food should have reflected the quality of food and experience. Far too expensive for what it was.
- We weren't greeted with any welcome on reception, and call back several days to say we didn't get our free gift on arrival, which we had to receive at reception, so we interrupt our day to go to reception expecting a free drink of Prosecco or something, but no, we were told you can pay $250 and get extra resort credit, basically upselling us! We responded, oh we were hoping we might get a free drink as we have always got everywhere else in Los Cabos, to this the gentleman scoffed at us, and said "so you don't want the credit"and we said no, once again, and then we repeated our request, where he stated, "well we could get you some water or lemonade". Moreover, we booked a room with a balcony, where we were give a room on the ground floor instead we asked to be moved, but the trade events and wedding superseded us and we were given a room one floor up on a floor one above which was equivalent to the ground floor, which looked straight out onto the tacos Tuesday event (entire hotel eating) and a wedding on another day, so we had no enjoyment of siting on a balcony with sea views, no apology, shocking.
lastly the room we were in had a weird smell and we reported this to reception and because their is nothing in regard to snacks or drinks supplied, we didn't look in the fridge until the smell was overwhelming, it transpired it was rotting shrimp left in the fridge. We had had 3 room cleans by this period and overlooked. We reported it to reception and brought the rotting shrimp, where they apologised and once again nothing more, just ignored. Not asking for the world but a simple comped drink or lunch would have been the norm, at the very least.

I liked the cleanliness
The food was not good, the resort was boring and repetitive! They DO NOT accept US dollars on the property at all! Try another resort this one is not for younger couples looking to have a good time!!!!

they greet you with drinks make you feel like you are home and are super nice every where you go on property I didn’t get any sales harassment at all until I was in Cabo San Lucas on the beaches 20 mins away my room was consistently cleaned with fresh towels and robes to even folding my clothing it was quiet and peaceful full on zen the staff was funny and not robots they literally go above and beyond to make you feel your stay is worth the money I will def be back and the security measures they go through to keep you safe and secure while you’re there omg I had so much anxiety until I got there and it went out the window when I got there
the Mexican buffet night seemed very Americanized I was looking for spice and flavor didn’t get much if that but of course the manager came and said the major words “let me make this right or you don’t pay” I couldn’t believe this much customer service still existed ps the breakfast buffet was amazing not sure why people said the food isn’t good here it was awesome

The pools are great and so was the food and service.

The service was excellent! We hired a nanny for our 10 months old baby, she was super professional and nice. Also the beach is wonderful there! Not that wavy and rocky like in some other hotels in Cabo.
I liked everything

Service was exceptional everywhere- at the restaurants, on the beach, etc. Everyone was so friendly! The rooms were spacious. We stayed all day at the beach and they came around quite often to serve us. The restaurants were a bit on the expensive side. We had a glorious dinner at Vela though- filet was worth it. The one restaurant open daily, Sotol, was more casual. We ate dinner at the hotel for 3 nights. Other nights we ventured off to restaurants in Cabo San Lucus and Cabo San Jose. Easy to get there via Uber or cab. They have chaise lounges with umbrellas all over the beach and pool for free. You can rent bigger cabanas.
They only had complementary coffee until 8:30 AM. The rooms do not have coffee pots :( There was a deli with Starbucks coffee and beer as well- reasonably priced, less than the restaurants. Food and drinks bought here were not allowed at the pool and beach though.

Nice rooms, great service from all the staff, beautiful ocean views, nice beach, good food especially at Vela restaurant.
Taxis to Cabo and San Jose Del Cabo very expensive because of Hilton’s location. Probably would not stay there again for this reason

The location is fabulous, the pool(s and hot spas) are best ever, the breakfast was world class. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The beach is great and the whales.... amazing :)
It's hard to know what to expect when you book a room. I wanted a top floor room for my 50th bday and we ended up not on the top floor

the property had a beautiful pool and great access to the beach. We really enjoyed how many areas there were to enjoy outside. We also thought the breakfast was delicious and the rooms were comfortable.
Another casual lunch or dinner spot on property would have been nice as most dinners ended up being quite pricey without a more casual option, especially with kids.

this is a lovely hotel with amazing amenities and views. the service is exceptional!
I did not like the constant “upsell”. From a woman in the lobby trying to sell me a timeshare, to having to reserve a chair by the pool, everything you do seems to cost extra. I also think there should be more dining options. It would be nice to have a more casual grill type place to go for dinner, and/or for the pool food area and bar to remain open for dinner
