Comfortable

Breakfast was great lots of choice. Location was perfect for our needs. We had a lovely view of the lake.

Shower was Luke warm even though we turned it as far to the hot as we could.

It was quiet and the room was clean. Parking in the street handy. However, the public areas; the elevator was dirty and dusty and looked like it needed a good clean and wipe and fixing the metal signs etc were hanging and needed screws to fix properly to the wall. The windows in the dining room looking out to the outdoor area were dirty and a clean was long overdue. Just gave a shabby overall look.

Was average accommodation with primo location.

The location was in good spot close to town and the water. The beds were comfy.

The facility was outdated with the shower liner coming loose and there being rust in the bathroom. Breakfast was average.

The room price was a bit high for the size also but overall we enjoyed the stay.

Location was great, the room was very clean, bed was very comfortable. Parking was also good.

The pillows were too soft and uncomfortable. Nowhere to fill my waterbottle other than the bathroom.

IBIS.....acronym for I Bet It Sux

Was not impressed.

We couldn't check in an hour and a half after check in time. 4hrs later and people were waiting still. The size and comfort was inadequate for the price. Bed uncomfortable, had to grab basic soap, shower product off trolley in hall. No milk for coffee. Payed extra for a so called lake view, what a joke. Had a hold for over a week on funds in my account after withdrawing the cost of the room. The rate was $324 for the night, had $374 pending on my account for over a week and you had taken $329 out of the account....there were alot of people in the foyer not happy when we arrived and alot of people in the foyer not happy when we left. I will not be returning and will definitely tell friends and family.

Great location.

Family room very small, shower no bigger than a wardrobe. No outside area for smoking, had to stand in carpark with a cup of tea in the morning.

Excellent place to stay, quiet yet still in the heart of everything. Clean and comfortable.

Excellent location, beautiful view of the lake. Within walking distance of an array of food choices and shopping.

Not too bad

Close to town and opposite the waterfront. Morning view of sunrise was beautiful. Rooms had comfy beds. Check-In / Check-out was hassle free.

Shower was tiny. Rooms with the 2 double bed (smaller than a queen) barely had any walking space. Lack of storage.

Worth a stay if you're in Rotorua.

Good hotel very near Eat Street (resturants) and close to the waterfront. Modern facilities, our room had a king size bed, and was very comfy. You can also get meals at the Novatel next door, and charge these back to your room, which helps as well.

The car park does fill up quickly, but theres plenty of parks on the street.

Apart from the hot water issue, Good

Staff were excellent, good facilities, room was clean and well presented, bed was comfortable, did lack a little in storage, but not a major issue.

2 rooms, 3-night stay, 3 people, no hot water for the first 2 nights, this did put a major dampener on what was otherwise a pleasant stay. would have been good to be offered some kind of compensation for this as I feel I did not get value for money, not being able to bathe for 2 days was not a great experience.

Convenient to book. Late check in and check out was okay.

Look for other options even if you have to spend more.

Location was accessible with plenty of parking. Not sure why my rating it 3 it should be 1 instead.

The rooms were not ready although we reached hours after checkin time. Upon asking gave option to downsizing the room for same price. When we refused and requested the time it would take for the room to be ready didn't get satisfactory answer. Then we had to involve manager who came and sorted us out and gave very dull room. We travelled from different country and needed place to relax but not getting the room upon arrival is not a done deal.

Limited food available. Reception staff unfriendly. Access to hotel from car park poorly signposted. Gas smell from outside though air conditioning terrible. Went out for dinner & breakfast
