Good family oriented hotel in (very) central Oslo

Excellent central location close to the Parliament building, city hall, waterfront, cafes and restaurants. Convenience store next door for snacks etc., and a pharmacy.

The breakfast room is shambolic. It is poorly laid out so queues form Inadequate clothes hanging space. No room telephone, no room service.

Gutes Hotel für einen Städtetrip mit Familie

Gute Lage, gut geeignet als Familie für eine Städtereise

An allen 3 Tagen war der Kaffeeautomat für Kaffeespezialitäten defekt, am letzten Tag auch noch der normale Kaffeeautomat!

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt, Zimmer neu renoviert und modern, Frühstück ist der Hammer

Das Zimmer war top, die Lage im Zentrum ebenfalls und alles geschlagen hat das Frühstück! Das war sehr umfangreich und für alle Leute was dabei! Wirklich ausgezeichnet.

The staff were very nice and in general a nice comfortable place to rest the head.

Breakfast was very nice, staff were very nice and friendly.

So there was construction happening in the hotel which should be notified on booking. The safe did not work. The ac was not working as the room was at 24 to 25 degrees even when I had full cooling on. The shower gel was empty on arrival and was empty on departure 5 days later. I could of raised this as I am sure it would of been looked after but I don't think I should need to raise this and that this would be a common check when flipping a room for the next guest.

Heerlijk verblijf in Oslo

Het is een hele fijne locatie, waarbij veel highlights op loopafstand zijn. En als het niet op loopafstand is, dan is er voldoende OV-aanbod. Daarnaast is het ontbijt prima en is er ruime keuze in wat je aan het begin van de dag wilt eten. Je moet wel een beetje tegen "stadse" geluiden kunnen.

Posizione ottima, staff molto cordiale, colazione buona ed abbondante.

Stanza un pochino piccola, letto che scricchiolava, muro scrostato, bagno ampio ma molto basico (no tappetino doccia, no sacchettini per assorbenti)

It was a good place to stay and relax.

I like the location where I could walk to the sight seeing spots. The breakfast was excellent. There were many options for the travelllers to have a breakfast.

The room size was not spacious. And the door was not well fitted. It was somewhat difficult to open and lock because the lock and the receptor had not enough space.

Very good location, 3min walk to the main port. Absolutely fantastic breakfast - wide selection. Very quiet room, good wifi.

Cleaning of the room could be better - lady spent there max 1min. Expected some small cosmetic pack - cleansing pad, cotton buds, body milk.

Exceptional

You need to close the door from outside when you leave the room. Nobody told me this as I checked in, but I have this habit always checking that the door is closed, hence did I find out by myself. I just wonder how many rooms are open when the guests have gone out.

Superb

The breakfast selection was some of the best I have ever had at a similar hotel. The location was also fantastic with being so close to a major train station and still feeling relatively quiet.

beware of payments at this hotel

Upon booking.com hotel payment, this hotel charged my credit card extra. If I hadn't called and told them, no one would have cared. I have not yet been able to collect all the fee charged from my entire credit card. I suffered a loss due to the exchange rate difference. A hotel business that can't handle payment transactions in 2023. waiting to taken all my loss ( including exchange rate loss).

Great location.

Breakfast buffet was exceptional. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The room was a bit too warm and it was difficult to control the temperature.

the hotel is ok to visit Oslo, close to everything

Breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety in a spacious room , location was also very nice, near the harbor and center the room was ok as well

Well, the TV was really little. we got some bikes one day but they were poorly maintained making it hard to ride, but the worker that arranged the bikes for us was very friendly and nice

Good location and nice breakfast.

Reception unmanned for 45 - 60 min on Sunday evening. No response to phone calls either. Was informed that there was less staffing that evening.
