the staff were great, super nice. the bed was decent

very cold room, the carpet was heavily stained. the table had watermarks all over, I do not recommend. all in all the hotel was very outdated. internet connectivity was mediocre. would have thought a four star hotel would maintain a higher standard

The personnel was very nice but a bit old and the surroundings not so so ,overall it was OK.

Good location on walking distance from the central station. We only needed a hotel for one night with good value for the money, and this hotel delivered exactly that. We arrived late and checked out early, so unfortunately we couldn't take advantage of the complimentary welcome drink.

Nothing to remark on.

The staff especially Helene Alpse at reception she was always welcoming and smiling. The Breakfast was excellent and the location was was perfect we were near the station the shops and excellent restaurants we will definitely go back again .

Baths slippery mats should be provided or even walk in showers

Arrived later in the night - easy to find, staff was great and the room was clean. Central location, close to the train station. Had the window open at night and slept well - relatively quiet for a downtown location.

As this was a last-minute booking, the only room available was a smoking room. Not used to this anymore as many places no longer allow smoking indoors, and the smell was strong. Not at all a complaint, just a remark, as I was simply happy to have found a room for the night and was made aware of this when booking.

When our return flight was cancelled the staff were able to arrange an extra night, including another welcome drink!

Convinient location in walking distance from Hamburg Hbf/ Main Station. Very easy and convinient acces to Hamburg Airport. Good breakfast, very helpfull staff in the reception. No rpblem with stable internet connection.

Shower cabin in my room was seriously leaking,. Entire floor in the bathroom was full of water that I had to dry in the middle of the night using the spare towels.

The room had an almost cinematic vintage charm, could have been straight out of the 70's which was kind of cool, but it was also quite noisy from the street and filled with a generous aroma of sewage from the bathroom.

The breakfast really took the price: absolutely the worst I've had by far. Frozen bread, stale eggs mixed with wet vegetables, and bacon harder than a shoe sole. I would have absolutely loved this place if it had been half the price - we all gotta eat, right?

Everything about the hotel, I have been there few times before and I am certainly coming back !!!

Nothing I dislike with Hotel Senator - it is my hotel for Hamburg

Excellent location, comfortable rooms, very helpful staff, very good breakfast. Close to main station and many restaurants/bars within 10 minutes walk in St Georg.

Only one problem, we had a room at the back, above the adjacent supermarket. Early morning deliveries woke us up every day

The location is a great spot, in the centre of Hamburg city. We were offered at the check-in a voucher for a choice of drink. The staff are very friendly, clean Rooms and with nice continental buffet breakfast..
