Solider Aufenthalt zu fairem Preis

Zimmer, Preis-Leistungsverhätnis, Frühstück OK

keine Klimaanlage oder Ventilator, war im Sommer unschön zu wenig Tische für Ein/Zwei Personen beim Frühstück leider war die Küche wegen Umbaus geschlossen, so musste ich das Abendessen anders organiseren, wenn man das parkähnliche Hotelgrundstück verlässt ist man eher im Bahnhofsviertel ist abends nicht so schön

Man fährt aus Verschleiss!

Lage und Ausstattung nach wie vor sehr ansprechend.

Kinder wie die Zeit vergeht. Als ich in den Jahren 2006-2009 häufiger Gast dieses Hotel war, kam ich in ein sehr gut geführtes aufstrebendes Haus, dass auf dem besten Wege war, die Nummer 1 am Platze zu werden. Die Landesregierung Niedersachsens tagte und logierte dort, in der Lobby konnte man auch schon einmal den damligen Oberbürgermeister der Stadt treffen. These days are gone! Anstelle der schönen Lobby findet man heute einige Tische, die als Ersatz für das abends geschlossene Restaurant herhalten müssen. Anstelle von Service findet der Gast Verpflegungs- und Getränkeautomaten. Schon ungewöhnlich für ein Haus, das nach wie vor zur 4 Sterne Kategorie gerechnet wird. Also der Flair ist hin! Die Park und Wegeanlagen wenig gepflegt und schlecht gesäubert. Rund herum, man "fährt auf Verschleiß"! Die Zimmer nach wie vor angenehm. Leider spürt man im Bad den Zahn der Zeit. Die abgeplatzte Emailie des Waschbeckens nicht repariert. Die WC Garnitur "old and flimsy", und die Mischbatterien von Dusche und Handwaschbecken reagierten nur noch auf kalt oder warm. Und der Kartenleser im Zimmer mußte mit 2 Zimmerkarten gefüttert werden, damit im Zimmer das Licht anging. Das Frühstück fand in den schönen Räumen des ehemaligen Restaurants statt. Das Angebot war dem Preis angemessen. Rührei und Speck mussten leider "kalt" verzerrt werden. Sehr schade. Die vorfundene Situation war wohl weniger den sehr freundlichen Mitarebitern im Service und an der Rezeption geschuldet, als eher den fatalen Entscheidungen des Managements.

Prachtig gebouw met mooie tuin

Wat een prachtig hotel met heerlijke tuin. De bedden slapen heerlijk en de douche is fijn.

Recommendable nice hotel close to city center and highway

Simple but nice and spacey room, very quit. Plenty of parking space, fee was OK (10€). Hotel restaurant offered good food in a nice location.

Würden jederzeit dort wieder buchen. Empfehlenswert!

Ausgezeichnete Lage, sehr sauber, gute Ausstattung und Räumlichkeiten, freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, Essen war sehr gut.

Essen war sehr gut, aber es war etwas umständlich zu bestellen.

Gute Lage, gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis auf Jugendherbergsniveau

Restaurant geschlossen, Bar geschlossen. Der Mitarbeiter am Empfangstresen war nicht in der Lage ein Getränk aus der Bar zu servieren. Statt dessen verwies er auf diverse Automaten

warm architecture and ambiance, cold staff

ambiance, architecture, spacious room, good mattress, cleanliness, attention to detail, I also enjoyed the folder about Sleep: it was nice to see something that is beyond the usual fare of things to buy and upgrade to. I didn’t have breakfast, so I couldn’t say anything about that.

my booking was no longer in the system although I had called upfront to advise about my late arrival. check out was way too slow. There was a queue, the four staff seemed overwhelmed.

Wonderful experience in a lovely medieval town with an intriguing histry.

Exceptionally kind and helpful staff. Beautiful location, very quiet, and close to downtown and trainstation

Good stay with reasonable price, good location.

Location near the center and the big parking space was good.

The hotel building was very big, but the room interior was bit old fashioned. Have to pay for the parking separately.

Very helpful receptionist, We arrived very late and he could not find our booking though I hade a reservation, but at last he managed to get us two rooms instead of the familyroom we had booked.

I was not happy with the lack of air conditioning and the noise of the traffic, etc., when I had to open my window for cool air. I could not sleep at all.

Superb

The location is great, the bed are comfortable, there is also a baby cot and a child chair in the restaurant. The personal staff is very friendly and nice. Can definitely recommend.
