Geweldig hotel, heerlijk ontbijt! Enige minpunt: familiekamer is klein en niet gericht op families

We hebben het geweldig gehad! We werden super vriendelijk ontvangen, ook al was het al laat. Heerlijk ontbijt, goed bed en een fantastisch uitzicht over de Rijn.. Enige minpunt bij de familiekamer is dat er maar 1 tweepersoonsbed stond en de kinderen op een slaapbank moesten, welke niet echt comfortabel was. Tip: zet op de familiekamer gewoon 2 extra 1 persoonsbedden neer ipv een slaapbank!

Eigenlijk niets, behalve dat de familiekamer wel heel klein was voor 4 personen en er voor de kinderen alleen een niet comfortabele slaapbank stond. Tip: zet er gewoon 2 eenpersoons bedden neer in plaats van een bank

Ruhige Oase

Es ist wirklich ruhig. Freundliche, hilfreiche Bedienung, war immer da. Man fühlt sich wohl in diesem Hotel und kann gut entspannen.

Am Frühstück fehlten immer Brot oder Multivitamin oder Weichkäse. Es kam dann schon. Könnte man besser organisieren.

Fantastic location with helpful and friendly staff

Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and tidy, with all expected facilities. The location is stunning, with amazing views of the Rhein and the picturesque market place of Bad Sackingen and the Holzbrucke nearby.

Whilst appropriate bedding and pillows were provided, the mattress for the bed was a little worn and uncomfortable.

maybe they could inform the guest that they can pass by car to the hotel as the road is within a walking district (really just a minor thing)

Room was much larger than expected for a double room with excellent views of the Rhine.

Main lighting in the room was quite poor as only a desk lamp was connected to the main light switch.

Nice hotel in the town centre, by the river

Location was great. Good breakfast. Good sized room with a river view

The bed was a bit hard and we could feel the springs. I asked for no feathers, because of an allergy, and I think they must have taken a feather-stuffed topper away. Otherwise everything was good.

A lovely place to stay!

The beautiful setting, the courtesy of the staff and the proximity to where I was working..

My room with a river view was just a very small window. Other rooms had a terrace and balcony they could sit on and properly see the river. The ability to have food was limited and both nights I stayed I couldn't have a meal due to others booking before me and shortage of staff due to covid. Not really their fault, in all honesty, but a fact of life, nowadays. There was plenty of other places nearby that were good anyway.

The breakfast was included and was an excellent buffet. Location was nice, on the river, right near the walking bridge to Switzerland, however it challenging to drive to because of the pedestrian only streets.

The spa is not part of the hotel, which we thought it was when we booked it.

Comfortable room and bed, great view of the Rhein, delicious breakfast and near all in town.

Very good location and convenient to access the town. Restaurants, shopping and nature walks are all nearby. The view of the Rhein was beautiful and the famous wooden bridge is only a few meters. The breakfast is outstanding with many options to choose from including home made jams and honey.

Very nice hotel. One of the better hotels in town.

Very nice hotel, however there is not much included in the hotel stay $$$$.. Water, beer, chips, etc in the room are all extra fees.

Good weekend trip

The view, breakfast, location, staff, cleanliness were all good. More than enough for a weekend trip

When booking it was important for us to have a good internet connection and the hotel advertised that it would be available everywhere. This was confirmed to us when we checked in. Unfortunately, Wifi did not work at all in the room and was erratic everywhere else. The staff suggested we use the city public wifi instead of the one at the hotel - unfortunately we had to go to the main square for that... The person at the reception was extremely nice and tried to be helpful. The people at the restaurant were rude.

No internet in the room and the internet connection everywhere else was extremely weak and erratic. Rude staff in the restaurant. It was also quite hot and since there was no air conditioning the room was not so confortable.
