Place near the piazza far exceeded our expectations!

The hosts are absolutely fantastic! Super friendly and attentive as they work hard to keep everyone happy. The location of the hotel was perfect just off the piazza. I loved my small balcony and the beautiful view of the mountains. Breakfast was so wonderful with fresh fruits, local cheeses, and fresh-made breads. Cappuccino, espresso, and coffee all made fresh and served with a smile by the host. The five-night stay far exceeded our expectations.

The good location near the promenade, the friendliness of the staff, the good breakfast

We were told about a Ticino card and asked for it. Unfortunately we forgot to ask the reception about the QR codes and had to pay full price by some activities. I would recommend that the reception makes a better follow up on this.

We would definitely stay here again if we get a chance to visit in the future.

The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was wonderful! The location was superb.

Staff always looking to make your stay exceptional. Excellent view from balcony and spacious suite. Great not to be on the front street which was noisy.

- lovely and caring owners Rita and Guiseppe, who were always available and helpful! thanks so much - perfect location! 30 seconds away from the lake and plenty of restaurants, bars, shops only a few minutes from the busstation to/from Locarno - fresh and plentiful breakfast - coffeemaker and bottle with fresh water in the rooms free to use

My room towards the mountainside was quiet and bright. But the opposite rooms towards the little street can be a bit noisy and also don't have much sunlight

A charming hotel in the heart of Ascona old city. The hosts are lovely and welcoming. Dogs are also very welcome with no extra charge. The rooms and the hotel itself were exceptionally clean. We had a wonderful Easter holiday there - highly recommended!

great location close to the lake and area of interest. Very nice and welcoming staff. Clean and comfortable room. good value for money especially for single room as you normally get a small bed in Switzerland but here I got a large bed.

Amazing location - excellent hosts

Location: one minute literally from the lake, Really quiet with great views. The staff: Rita and Giuseppe were amazing hosts , helpful and kind and they gifted us amazing house-made bread when we left. Kind and friendly . Overall an amazing experience

Everything was up to standard. The only thing I would change would be the pillows, I like firm pillows and the pillows were soft. That was a personal preference

(Stefaan, Belgium) Excellent stay! Despite language issues, what a wonderful and incredibly friendly owner!! The breakfast was just great! I told the owner I just loved his sourdough bread, and on the day I left he gave me one of these delicious breads! Really an excellent place to stay!

Comfortable room, reliable staffs and nice breakfast!

The staff was very friendy, kind and considerate about their guests. The breakfast was really good and they offered it earlier than usual so that I could attend the conference on time in the morning. The room I stayed was simple but clean and comfortable.

Great B&B in the heart of Ascona old town

Fabulous location - 5mins from bus stop, 2mins from the lake and immersed in the old town. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful - and responded immediately to all our questions and requests.

Recommend for single rooms to be equipped with coffee machines.

My 1st experience locked out of hotel.

The check-in receptionist didn't speak English and did not brief at check-in how to gain entry to hotel after certain hours hotel main door was locked. It was 1.30am and 40 minutes later (had too much drink) realised besides the main door there's a box to key in wifi password. Overall the hotel great location, room was comfortable, clean & air-conditioned which was a big plus with the heat wave. Will stay there again & this time will not be locked out. 😉👍
