Tolle zentrale Lage, schönes Zimmer, nettes Personal, angenehmes Bett.

Preis Leistung stimmt hier.
Sehr freundliches Personal.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The room was completely fine, basic and comfortable, perfectly adequate given the low price.
There were some minor calcifications in the shower which gave an unclean appearance.

The sound insulation of the room is poor, so be careful when you are intimate with your boyfriend.

Very nice location, helpful and friendly staff. Room was comfortable.
The shower was a bit small due to inconvenient hanging things on the wall. Having no elevator can be a bit of a hassle.

I honestly don't understand some reviews... The hotel was way better than we expected from the comments. First of all, the location! Quiet neighbourhood, two steps from the train station, many options around to eat something and supermarkets, and so close to the center on foot. Secondly, the cleanliness. It was way too clean than others describe, it smelled so nice and fresh. The room was comfortable, beautiful decorated and big enough, the matresses were so good, we got so much rest! And we had heat as much as we wanted, it was self controlled. The reception lady was very polite and helpful. The breakfast had variety, was healthy, priceworthy and delicious. It was a very nice and decent hotel for the money we spent. We will definitelly come back.

Everything was fine!

Nothing.
At arrival we have been informed that the Hotel was overbooked and that we have to go to another hotel. The person at the reception told us that her colleague informed us yesterday, which has not been the case (no Email, no SMS). She wanted to explain us how to walk to the other hotel by a map. We insisted that we are willing to walk with our heavy baggage to the other hotel (by the way: the other hotel has a booking.com score of 6.5). Then she called someone and ordered a taxi afterwards. We asked how overbooking can happen in such a small hotel, but have not gotten an answer. Furthermore, we insisted to get a price reduction because of the inconveniences, she called again someone and finally she wrote a reduced price on a piece of paper (stamped and signed). We asked if she has informed the other hotel about the reduction and she said yes. After arriving at the other hotel (the taxi was paid by the hotel am Liegeplatz), the person at the reception made it clear that they are not accepting the reduced price. We asked her to contact the other hotel, but she reached nobody by phone and she wanted to talk with her boss later about the case. At the check out, we insisted on the reduced price, because we assumed that we will never get the money back, and after some unpleasant conversation (i.a. the person at the reception threaten to call the police), we gave up and paid the full price. Now three weeks later, we have not received the deficit. In summary, a very unpleasant experience and the practice of overbooking is in my view not a correct way to make business. And an apology would not have hurt either.

Close to the central station and commercial area of Kiel. It was clean and the personnel was nice. The rooms were partly renovated
No elevator, small rooms, outdated bathroom.

Typical small German hotel -- clean, friendly, OK breakfast. Ideal for a short stopover. But be aware: no lift.

Morning service was very good with properly executed precautions regarding breakfast and breakfast buffet. Breakfast was good, coffee was very good.
Evening receptionist smoking in the staircase, not wearing a mask in the staircase.
Smoke detector gave alarm and was taken away rather than replaced. Receptionist said ‘we won’t burn anything down tonight’.
Toilet flush was malfunctioning and running all night.

The room and bathroom were sparkling clean and the view from the window was very nice, we slept like babies. The staff was always smiling and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great location and friendly staff.
Parking was not provided even if I have requested a bit in advance. Room was quite small and with inside the building view.
No shampoo or toiletries provide for 59€ price.
Very very disappointed on the hotel.

The breakfast was decent, and location was great.
The photos online must be shopped, or the rooms must be hidden. The value for money of this property is ridiculous. I feel I vastly overpaid for an incredibly small room, even by European standards, with very bare bones amenities. One morning I was woken up without warning and told I needed to vacate the room quickly for a window cleaner, and when I didn’t do so quickly enough was reprimanded by a member of the staff. The halls were incredibly noisy as the walls were very thin, I could hear doors opening and closing all hours of the day and night. The halls smelled like cigarette smoke frequently.

Great to receive an early check-in after arriving off the ferry and finding a very clean, comfortable room awaiting.
Climbing three flights of stairs with heavy luggage,
