Toll gelegenes Hotel mit schöner Aussicht und kleinen Macken

Tolle Lage/Aussicht, sehr gutes Restaurant abends (Essen, Getränke und Personal), Kofferservice von und zum Bahnhof, verständnisvolles Personal an der Rezeption

Sehr schmutzige Fenster in der Sauna (dadurch keine Aussicht), Bedienung beim Frühstück (in meinem Bircher Müsli war ein Plastikdeckel, Ober meinte dazu nur, dass das nicht sein kann), keine Ersatzrolle Toilettenpapier im Bad, Nachlieferung dauerte über zehn Minuten, bei Rückkehr ins Zimmer am Abend stand Fenster sperrangelweit offen, dadurch kalt im Zimmer und Heizung ging nicht

Schöner Aufenthalt über den Dächern von Zürich

Wunderschöne Aussicht, Sauberkeit und freundliche Mitarbeiter

Erreichbarkeit ist nicht ganz optimal. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt’s nicht in der Nähe vom Hotel. Trotzdem gibt’s die Möglichkeit, auf einem (vom Hotel genannten) Parkplatz in der Stadt zu parken und das Hotel mit der Bahn zu erreichen.

Nice and different stay but traffic and location could be improved or tolerated by most of the customers.

The property is fine. Nice building, clean and easy interior decoration. The location is on the top of a mountain, only to get there by train. The neared area to get off or get on a taxi is super far away from the hotel. Likely they have brilliant view of Zurich and track of forests to walk around, otherwise I will not pick this hotel.

The facilities are a bit old not very convenient for whom with big baggage.

Stunning views

Fantastic views over Zürich. Beautiful restaurant and bar area.

The bedroom and bathroom was a little tired for a four star hotel. The third bed wasn’t made up when we arrived.

Ein unvergeßlicher Aufenthalt hoch oben über Zürich und dem Zürichsee.

Das Eckzimmer hatte eine phantastische Aussicht auf die Stadt Zürich und den Zürichsee. Das Abendessen auf der Außenterrasse war hervorragend und auch das Frühstücksbüffett ließ keine Wünsche übrig. Am Abend waren die aus der ganzen Welt kommenden Tagestouristen wieder verschwunden, so dass man die Aussichtsterrasse und den Sonnenuntergang fast ganz alleine genießen konnte.

Badezimmer und Schlafzimmer waren durch eine große Glasscheibe getrennt und von beiden Seiten einsehbar. Eine originelle Lösung, die aber etwas die Intimsphäre stört.

جيد لكن انصح بقراءة التعليمات قبل السفر

الموقع جميل خاصة انه يمكنك مشاهدة زيورخ بكل اطرافها من الاعلى والغرف نظيفة. الطاقم كان ودود

ما لم يعجبني هو صعوبة الوصول لهذا الموقع خاصة بالليل. ولم احصل على سرير اطفال لطفلتي الصغيرة. وانه يجب ركن سيارتي بمكان بعيد عن مكان الإقامة. ايضا انه لم أتمكن من طلب الطعام لانني وصلت في الليل ولم اكن اعلم ذلك لانه لا يوجد خدمة التوصيل لهذا المكان كونه يقع على الجبل.

Atendimento péssimo, estava com a reserva, não conseguia localizar o hotel, já era de noite, tentei entrar em contato sem sucesso, o hotel é super difícil de localizar, ainda mais de noite e com malas! Fomos parar em uma estrada deserta, e após inúmeras tentativas para chegar lá, desistimos e tivemos que achar outro hotel em cima da hora! Não tivemos nenhum retorno do hotel até hoje e pior, eles cobraram a estadia!!! Não indico! Busquem algo prático e com suporte caso precisem!

It was a unique stay but there there were some

We loved the location and the cute rooms. Nice view. Clean and cozy. The hotel restaurant was very fancy and had great food.

There was no AC in the room. We went in the summer so it was quite hot. Though they gave us a potable table fan. And also they didn’t have a kettle to heat up water for making tea. Just a coffee machine. It’s a no car zone so we had to walk up all the way with our luggage. Which was hard. If they had at the least provided hotel transportation for picking our luggage it would have been nice. Also, when we requested to take our luggage back down they requested extra money for that.

Die Aussicht ist der Hammer Die Terasse wunderschön Das Maiensäss sehr gemütlich Das Restaurant sehr angenehm und sehr freundlicher Service

Das man für alles extra zahlen muss 30.00 CHF pro Person für das Frühstück finde ich viel zu viel- dafür bietet das Buffet nicht spezielles!!! Auch das Buffet unten finde ich nicht sehr angenehm.

Great spot , I recommended it to my colleagues and we had dinner there , some even went back to stay

Location was beautiful, the fact that I had to walk was awesome I needed it

The cleaning was bare minimum, what fell on the floor was found on the floor . I asked for an iron and they told me they could not bring it to me I had to go to their laundry room . Reception was awesome but the manager was passive aggressive and spoke like she was doing me favor at some point I told her not to shout

I would recommend updating the travel to hotel instructions for car travelers. Park, walk over bridge, follow trail or road to SB, SB ticket instructions, take S10 for two stops.

spa was very limited no swimming pool and the city tax was requested to pay by the receptionist even though my confirmation email stated that the tax was included in the payment which was made at the time of the booking. manager receptionist very rude and loud not understanding that the email confirmation I had was clearly stating that everything was paid at the time of booking.

well worth the climb!!

You are warned well in advance about the walk up to the hotel so no surprises there but great that they can collect bags at the station and also drop them down. The room was neat and the balcony great to wake up to. Staff were helpful and provided a kettle so tea could be made as well as having the coffee machine. The sauna was terrific and very relaxing after walking down through the woods to Zurich and sightseeing. Breakfast ample and good options. Not for a couple of nights but we stayed five so got a real sense of the place. The train access on the Uetliburg line is fantastic.

Not a lot but I suspect we were lucky time wise as I imagine it could be quite noisy in summer or with functions.

Cars are not allowed and breakfast miscommunication

The views and room were exceptional

Two things: 1) we had a car and didn't realize car free meant no cars until after we booked. This should be more clear on the website. 2) I chose breakfast included in my search for this hotel. Booking.com gave me an "upgrade" and when this happened, I did not notice that breakfast was Available for $30 each. The breakfast was nice but not much nicer than the standard breakfast included. We were shocked at checkout. The breakfast was not worth $60 Euro We did have dinner at the same restaurant the night before, and it was delicious- priced appropriately for Zurich.

This is an exceptional place to stay

The view from the room was of the entire Zurich valley. It was absolutely stunning! We really enjoyed the private spa, which is free to all guests, requiring only a reservation. It has a sauna, steam room, and an ice cave, with beds in the lounge to relax on between treatments. It was perfect for our jet lag. The food in the restaurant is delicious. We were very pleased that they had multiple vegan options on the standard menu.

Switzerland, in general, is expensive, so the price of this fabulous hotel was quite high.

the way we had to walk from parking lot to the train station after driving 500 km with the luggages. a bottle of still water costs 9.90 chf. but yet, the food was perfect.

great views, nothing special about the hotel

- being on top of the hill in nature is wonderful - the views (especially at night) are gorgeous - it's pretty cool to be already up there in the morning - very grateful about being able to take my dog

- really not fancy at all but fair enough - I had a room next to the door of the side house which was a bit noisy at times

Amazing views!

The view was incredible, the bed was super comfortable and the room was a nice size.

The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the breakfast, it was very basic and so expensive, we stayed in another hotel in Switzerland and the breakfast was half the price and double the variety!

Best view and place in Zurich!

Everything, is a very nice place with a nice view from the room and also from the whole hotel, good restaurant, place clean and comfortable. Next time for sure I will be there.

Excellent Stay above Zurich

The hotel was beautiful, the hike and train to it were worth the views over Zurich. We spent time in the spa which was heaven and had the best night sleep in the most comfortable beds.
