Breakfast was great, plentiful and the egg menu was delicious. Location excellent right next to the Caracalla with a direct tunnel route when it rains. We were hiking round the local forest and many routes were close by. Beds were comfortable too and the rooms were a good size, we had a small balcony to enjoy an evening beer.
Wifi was a bit patchy and used the free town WiFi instead on occasion.

Very clean, quaint hotel in a quiet location but close to everything.
We liked everything.

The personnel is very friendly!
3.7
The staff spoke English and offered the local baths at a discounted rate.
The bed and pillows were hard.

Location great. Brekfast great.
Calling a taxi in the morning to railwaystation was bad!

The hotel is very close to the two famous SPA spots. The staff are friendly, allowing us for an early check-in. The room was clean and spacious. The handmade fried egg and omelette for breakfast was good. By the way, there are flowers planted just in front of the hotel, which was refreshing and pleasant!
However, the most disappointing thing is that our room was on the third floor with a small window facing directly to another building, which leads to very poor ventilation. It was just the begining of May, and the room gets quite hot and stuffy, made it difficult for me to fall asleep. I have to go downstairs to enjoy the cool and refreshing air outside at mid-night. We understand that this is a very old hotel, difficult to change the room structure. However, it is obvious that the owner of this hotel is quite aware of the problem of their room since an air purifier is already put there. But the air purifirer is quite noisy, which is obviously not suitbale to keep it running all the night! Considering its high price, the hotel should come up with some better ways to improve it, or inform the customers ahead of time. Or just simply give the customer a better one if there is another vacant room available!

Location
Terrible to find parking space

cozy hotel situated right in front of the Friedrichsbad and Caracalla Therme, in the pedestrian area of the city center. perfect to go for a bath after a day of hiking in the surrounding hills. the area is quiet and perfect for a relaxing time. restaurants, coffee shops and stores are situated just minutes away.
all was great.
the breakfast is basic.
3.7
it is a stones throw away from the thermal pools! hotel is dated and clean, staff is friendly and efficient, breakfast was plentiful.

Great location! So close to the baths, restaurants, and Christmas market.

Arrived had Christmas tree with lights in our room. Breakfast brilliant.
Slight misunderstanding due to language barrier
3.7
super close to the spas and near the old town.
the room and common areas are very dated and could use some renovations.

Great Breakfasts and cozy Hotel

Room 345 is huge, Big comfortable bed, beautiful terrace in front of ancient baths
A little bit of english spoken by the staff would bé helpful
3.7
location was ideal and I was able to park my motorcycle right outside the door
The hotel looks like it was last refurbished in the middle of last century. The staff were not exactly obstructive but they weren't very helpful either. Breakfast was advertised as starting at 7 but that more accurately reflected the time they would start preparing for breakfast.
3.7
Location is great very close to the spa and to the various entertainments.
Wifi was not connecting properly
3.7
Nice, clean, cosy!
3.7
Great Breakfast and Location. Stuff Friendly. Hudle Size of the Apartment (BUT Definitely NOT the described size)
Rating is NOT for the hotel but for the rented apartments - appr. 100 m away from the Hotel
Furniture thrown together/not matching.
Cables hanging openly from the ceiling
Partly old beds and chairs
NOT inviting kitchen - We did NOT touch/use anything.
Makeshift repaired water pipes at the bathroom / With a white towel somehow stuck to the tiles to cover the not patched hole/ Never saw something like that before/ Even not in countries like Greece or Turkey - NO Idea if this is even allowed by the authorities!
We slept with the clothes on and stayed there as little as possible- It was too late otherwise we would have looked for something else.
DO not trust the Fotos!
NO recommendation - avoid The Appartements!!!!

Parking was not on site and not close. Staff wasn't friendly. Restaurant wasn't open. Rooms and bathrooms were small. Poor lighting. Rooms were nothing like rooms displayed on website. Overpriced
