Pessimo atendimento. Jamais voltaremos a esse hotel.

Do quarto com sacada e banheira. Da localização.

Não existir elevador e isso não estar adequadamente informado na descrição do hotel. Não haver estacionamento que conduzisse diretamente ao nosso andar (3. Andar) pois o estacionamento fica no 2. Andar e o hóspede é obrigado a subir um lance de escada com a bagagem. O atendimento da funcionária Sandra foi horrível. Eu me enganei ao fazer a minha reserva, colocando um dia anterior ao correto. Telefonei para o hotel, bem antes das 18 horas, informando o meu equívoco e a Sandra foi implacável, dizendo que nada poderia fazer. Eu havia pago antecipadamente duas diárias. Sei que o erro foi meu. No entanto, ao chegar, não houve um mínimo de solidariedade por parte da funcionária Sandra, que logo me informou que eu havia perdido integralmente o valor da diária (mais de 300 CHF), pois ela alegou não haver conseguido nenhum outro hóspede no nosso lugar, e secamente nos informou que deveríamos deixar o Hotel às 10 horas da manhã, pois não havia mais disponibilidade para ficarmos a segunda noite, como pretendíamos. Acho que num setor turístico como esse, ao menos poderia ter nos sido oferecida alguma coisa, como um “late check out”, um jantar (inclusive jantamos no hotel, pois chegamos tarde), ou, no mínimo, um drink de boas vindas. Recebi um “cartão de descontos” que não servia pra nada no hotel, somente míseros descontos em algumas atrações da cidade. Em resumo, na qualidade da categoria de Genius 2 que sou no Booking, NÃO recomendo esse hotel, que obriga o pagamento antecipado, não isenta da taxa de cancelamento (sendo que fiz contato com o Hotel menos de 1 hora após a minha reserva, assim que percebi o erro da data), e ainda trata muito mal os seus hóspedes.

Stairs hahaha thankfully we only get 2nd floor so no issue. There is only a heater (no AC) so the circulation pretty bad i guess, but we open a bit of the window to get the air flow.

Lovely hotel with a "to die for view"!

Beautiful room, with a spectacular view of the waterfall. We had a "Valley View - Holz 100" room - totally worth it in my opinion! The room was clean and spacious, with all the facilities you would expect. Very good buffet breakfast available from 7:30-10:00. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent location for the Wengernalpbahn - just 2 minutes away on foot.

We found the bed and pillows a little soft, but not too bad. A bit more variety on the restaurant menu would have been nice. We personally found the local region dishes not so much to our taste and would have preferred a few more international options. But what we had was hearty and tasty, though not top notch perhaps for the price.

Super amazing

The room was spacious and well-appointed, with a stunning view of the waterfall. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast at the hotel was absolutely superb. There was a differant selection of fresh and delicious choices. The dining area clean and inviting with very nice view of the mountains. I particularly enjoyed the fresh milk :) The hotel's location couldn't have been better. It was situated right in the heart of the mountains, within walking distance of major attractions and lively entertainment districts. I loved being able to explore the village on foot, and the nearby train and bus station made it easy to access other parts of the village. Additionally, there were numerous excellent restaurants and shops within a short walking distance, adding to the overall convenience of the location.

Location! A great place to stay with access to so many things. The staff was so nice!

Great location, friendly staff, breakfasts were great. We had a delicious dinner there - in fact, the best one in the valley.

The rooms feel a little old and it could use some updating in the decor. We felt that it could be a little more upscale, especially given the cost.

The hotel has a very beautiful terrace and garden with views of the Sraubach waterfall and the glaciers on the mountains. Very convenient to the station. Will stay here again if we return to Lauterbrunnen

They could use an elevator. I understand that they will put one in starting in November.

Superb

The room and balcony were lovely and the hotel was able to get us rooms side by side as requested. We enjoyed the dinner very much and the location was superb for our hiking and exploring of the region.

The step up to the bathroom was something during the nighttime that threw us off, as one in our party stubbed a toe. The towels and laundry line were very much appreciated for drying off clothing after we washed things.

Excellent place to stay and dine in Lauterbrunnen!

We stayed at the Silberhorn for 3 nights in May. It is just a few steps from the train station, although it is a uphill so if you're carrying a large suitcase, it could be a little difficult. The staff is very friendly, helpful and attentive. The overall experience was wonderful. And the restaurant is excellent as well. We ate there all three nights since the food was great and there are not that many restaurants around there. The service at the restaurant was great. Overall, a great experience. Would love to stay there again!

Exceptional in all the ways. The rooms were newly renovated, spacious, and very comfortable. The view of the valley was incredible and the location was perfect. If I could rate this 11/10, I would! We will gladly be back again.

Amazing views.

The room was very comfortable with stunning views. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Excellent location right next to the train station.

No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. There was no bar as such even though there was a bar area which had no drinks in it? You could have drinks with your evening meal, but would have liked to have night caps after being out and the odd pint etc, without feeling like you would be putting someone out.

Beautiful experience!

Breakfast was outstanding! View of the gardens and surrounding mountains was outstanding! Staff was excellent and proximity to train station was wonderful.

I wish we had clear instructions on how to get to hotel from train station (ex: there are elevators to take if you have luggage with you). Get to the far west side of train station and there is then a ramp to take you to street level. Hotel is then about a block or two uphill.

The best hotel! Highly recommended..don't go anywhere else!

We came to stay for our Honeymoon and we are so glad we chose to stay here! The staff were so lovely and helpful along with amazing rooms to stay in! The rooms were clean and tidy with extraordinary views of the Lauterbrunnen valley! From the moment we arrived we felt at home and were very sad to be leaving. We will definitely come back for another trip and stay here again! We were informed at a local coffee hut this hotel is only one of two in the area that are still run by local families...we are so glad we supported them and didn't stay elsewhere! If you're looking for a stay in the best hotel and experiencing authentic Swiss style, please book here! We cannot fault it at all ❤️ thank you so much for making our Honeymoon the most special experience, with memories we will treasure forever ❤️

Excellent location, right opposite the train station, close to supermarket which was useful for us with kids. great view on the Staubbach falls, comfortable beds, brilliant shower.

there was no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms. They did provide a hot water kettle when I asked which was great but would be better with the option in the room.

My dream come true stay in an alpine village - close to everything with gorgeous views and people.

the location, the staff, the feeling in being in an old-school alpine hotel. It was just lovely. Ilonia was wonderful as a server and handling the gorgeous plentiful breakfast. Loved her!

Great staff, large room, great view. Also a great restaurant on site and good breakfast. Very close to the train station/ gondola and very easy to get everywhere.

Just personal preference, but the bathroom had a see-through door I did not care for as I prefer privacy in the bathroom.

Exactly what I was looking for on this short trip. And top service, delivered with a smile.

They have had +100 years to perfect serving guests. It shows. In the lobby, at breakfast, and at dinner. Couldn’t have been happier.

Not a fan of the (90s?) design of this particular room, but that was irrelevant on this short trip. Everything was there, and had been thought through, down to the finest detail.
