Swimming pool, room size local food on menu was delicious. Garden area was nice
Building work ongoing - noise - dusty. Electric switches in room need attention. Air conditioning unit would not switch off

The location of the hotel was close to many of the tourist areas. Convinient
Hotel room size was good. However, for 3 nights the air conditioner was not functioning well despite technicians checking on it. The fan was only running at 1 speed and could not be changed. Breakfast was average and restaurant food quality was average. The milk served was like water. Few Staff at the restaurant were expressionless and seemed like not happy working there. We paid additional money to extend the room timing. I paid the full amount and there was some balance and hotel staff never returned it back to me. I did not pursue the matter as were in a hurry to leave etc.

Well maintained large bedroom and Bathroom. We had access to the pool and surrounding garden. The restaurant was very good. We had a lovely welcome and departure.
The fridge in our room did not work and the cold milk we requested arrived warm so we could not chill it. I am sure the hotel will quickly resolve this.

The Hotel has a very nice structure and rooms. Very comfortable and typical Indian style.
I recommend this hotel for the nice atmosphere!
3.5

It’s a lovely old heritage building and the staff were very keen to please.
Rooms are big with 4 poster bed, big old roll top baths as well as showers, all aircon and a ceiling fan.
There’s a warm pool, sun loungers, a walled garden and they serve alcoholic beer (unusual for India).
Please ignore the 1.0 score posted by someone who hacked my booking.com account this morning!
Building work by pool (bring your headphones!).
Rooms a bit musty.
Lack of windows that open, but this is common in India.

The room and the front facade of the hotel were interesting.
Room - dusty, not decorated or furnished as per the photography. Bathroom - dirty bath, no temperature control on water at all. WiFi - intermittent service. Pool - unpleasant pool area at back of hotel, construction noise/drilling, construction screens. Manager - strange aggressive style of harassing us to eat in the hotel. Restaurant - food poisoning (felt well until started vomiting that night after only having eaten in the hotel that entire day - manager advised we were just foreign and not used to the heat). Endless calls and disturbance to check out three hours early (initially woke us up 3 hours before check out ringing the doorbell to ask us to take our cases to reception then called several times).

Hotel is located in historical building built 150 years ago. But all facilities are new, rooms and territory are arranged with love and attention to details. There is nice garden, pool, candles everywhere. We've booked Chamber of Prince room. It's big, nice decorated, with comfy bed and has it's own exit to the pool. Staff arrange national dance show, puppets show and henna drawing in evenings. Main building is located in the garden, so you don't hear all these horns, which is a great relief in India. We had dinner in hotel restaurant and it was great, live national music during the dinner.
It would be great to have a bit more choice at the breakfast.

I loved the history that the manager explained to us when we arrived. The tour was really nice and interesting to see the artefacts that the hotel preserves.
The pool was nice and the room was massive. It was nice that the hotel put on dancers and henna and traditional music while you ate.
The bed was nice and comfy and the sheets were crisp and clean.
It would have been nice to have more loungers by the pool but this is a very minor thing. Everything was lovely, despite my partner being convinced it was haunted.

Staff were good
Very great value for money
Restaurant was very knowledgeable about gluten free food requirements
Room decore was outstanding
Were told breakfast was included to then be charged
Noise from the road was annoying when outside (not in room)

nice staff
This property is not a 5 star. Possibly 5 star back in the 90’s but it wouldn’t breach 3 stars today.

Хороший аутентичный отель в индийском стиле. Большое номера , индийский стиль, классно!
Такого не было.

It lived up to its grand old lady image of 115 years old.

beautiful heritage hotel, beautiful room „Chamber of Prince“, helpful and friendly staff at the reception and a beautiful swimming pool
Outside the hotel is a big and busy road. No nice walk by foot possible.

This property has a beautiful classic heritage-style architecture. The staff were very attentive, particularly in the restaurant. The garden is well maintained and provides a pleasant atmosphere for sitting outside. The food was delicious and our room was beautiful and spotlessly clean. Overall, this hotel offers a comfortable stay with great service.
However, the pool could benefit from better maintenance as it was not in the best condition.

Elegant hotel, very friendly staff, very large rooms, warm and thoughtful service, not aggressive
Agra in April is already hot, but the air conditioner in the room did not cool the air

we have visited this property 2 times and love the history of the building. The staff are amazing and were very helpful when our train to our next destination was cancelled ensuring our journey continued. The complimentary Henna was beautiful. A short distance to the Taj and fort and train station.
The wi-fi wasn’t very good
