We enjoyed the stay as always!

The coffee and juice were good, also the ambiance.
The service in the restaurant was slow. The food arrived late and only lukewarm. Only one waiter was doing his best.

This is a beautiful colonial style hotel, nicely decorated with careful detail. Our room was very spacious, so was the bathroom. The breakfast, included with our stay, was delicious. The added bonus was a pianist who serenaded everyone while having breakfast. I recommend this place.
I didn’t find anything wrong with this hotel.

the architecture of this historic home.
90s disco music during breakfast did not match the setting.

The room we paid for was not available for us. we received no satisfaction until the GM got involved. the room we received was an up charge and the bed was so uncomfortable we left after one night I stead of our scheduled 3 days. The staff was helpful and tried to accommodate us but in the end nothing received was close to what we expected and paid for
The property was physically beautiful, everything else fell well short of expectations

This hotel was a total delight. The property is historical and beautiful. The staff are incredible. They went above and beyond - picking us up from and taking us back to the airport, arranging for my husband's pants to be pressed the day we were attending a wedding. The breakfast is very good, with pastries, fresh fruit and eggs of your choice, all included with your room. The location is in the heart of the historic district and easy to walk everywhere. We will definitely go back. And while not the most important element, our shower had the best water pressure that we have ever had in a hotel!
I can't think of a thing.

This was a one-of-a-kind experience to stay in a fully restored colonial mansion. Beautiful arabesque details, medieval tapestries, elegant old-world detailing and charm--this let me live a dreamy fairytale fantasy without sacrificing modern comfort. The location was in the middle of the historic center, so accessing the museums, historic tours, and colonial boulevards was a short walk away.
Truly no flaws.

This is an incredibly beautiful hotel located in a great place for exploring the city by foot. It is very private and feels very safe as they have a large staff on hand at all times.
For this type of hotel, certain amenities could be improved. Unlike the other hotels we stayed at in Mexico, there was not daily water provided for drinking. Our final day we received water. The lighting in the room needs to be improved, several bulbs were out or missing. The bath linens were inconsistent... some days no hand towels. Some days no bath mats. Breakfast was cold and uninteresting enough that we actually ate out our final day. This stuff isn't a big deal for me as a traveler, but clearly this was a very high-end hotel and they should be doing a better job.

It felt like stepping into a time-warp / felt like I was in the 1800’s. Very cool. Spent one night there - that was just about enough though. It was elegant.
Its dark and the beds were hard. I expected it to be an old hotel - but it was well done.

The history and arquitecture.
Nothing.

historical character and decorations
hotel’s entrance door being always locked, which is great for security, but we had to mostly knock multiple times and wait a while until the manager walks over to let us in
