It was cold and limited

The room was large and comfortable. The
Fitness suite was a good Facility even having to pay £5 to use it.
The whole hotel has a tired appearence.
The bar grill was not clean and the tables very sticky. On top of this the meal I chose was poor. Plentiful parking.

It was huge, clean and plenty to do. And staff were helpful

Room was clean. Bed was clean.
Very expensive to eat in restaurant. Room was a long walk from reception. Breakfast was buffet style so most of the hot food was just warm.

The staff were all lovely, the beds were comfortable and the shower was good. The rooms were a bit shabby but spacious.
Our room was above the patio by the bar and noisy until after 11 and the noise started again with staff chat below the window at 0530! The rooms were hot but we could not open the windows because of the noise and there was no air con.
We also took 3 attempts to check in - at 1445 we were 15 mins early and the room was not ready on our first attempt, we got stuck in a massive grid lock/traffic jam outside the hotel on our second attempt, as the hotel was hosting a Prom, so went away and came back an hour later and finally were able to check in at 2000hrs - not ideal and we had to change our plans for the evening as a result.

Breakfast was excellent. The entire breakfast service was efficient.
Shame the pool was a leisure (and not competition sized) pool for guests to do lengths.

We were later than our scheduled arrival due to motorway closures, when we arrived our room key was all ready for us and given to us by a very helpful member of your staff. The staff in the restaurant overseeing the breakfasts were very polite and courteous.
Some of the doors and skirting boards along the corridor to our room were badly scuffed and could do with a lick of paint.

The location we had breakfast Was really good The staff were really friendly and the food was very good
Good access And punting entertainment around the area

The staff were friendly, and the pool sauna and steam room were decent.
The breakfast was awful, it’s made me and my partner sick. There were hairs in the bed left by previous guests. The extractor fan in bathroom didn’t work and was covered in dust. The wall behind the bed was also very dusty and had blue tac still stuck to it. The windows in the room weren’t very good all you could hear was cars going past all night.

Check in was very easy. staff were on hand to help with queries and issues.
I have stayed at the hotel many times and knew what to expect; it didn;t disappoint.
The staff everywhere was welcoming and always had a smile and greeting.
Buffet breakfast was excellent. Plenty of tables. I saw one member of staff assinting a guest on crutches pick the items and deliver it to the table. Excellent.
An excellent venue for get togethers and conventions. They can cope.
The only downside was hat the lighting in the room was restricted to individual kights. Even with the blinds raised the room is dark.
I would like more salads and non-fatty foods in the bar menu,

Staff excellent. Breakfast good value. Bed very comfortable and bedroom very clean, and quiet despite facing the front.
Would have liked more availibility to the swimming pool for our (adult accompanied) teenagers.

The room we had was massive (family room), had everything we needed. Staff were lovely when we arrived, supported us using the self check in service.

Location, the room ,every facility in the swimming pool area, it was lovely, thr staff too.
The chair in the room was not good to be in a hotel room, especially with your kind of standard.
The chair has peeled .

Our room was spacious and comfortable, and very quiet and peaceful. Although it had air-conditioning, it also had windows that opened a reasonable amount (a rarity these days). It overlooked a courtyard garden which was very well-kept and pleasant to look out upon. Once inside the hotel you would never know there was a busy road outside, or that you were just minutes away from the motorway. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The food was very good and the lounge area very welcoming.
Although our evening meal was excellent, we were meeting up with family and wanted to chat, but this was difficult due to the "sports lounge" set-up of the restaurant with large screens showing football and boxing matches. It would have been nice if there had been a quieter area for diners who didn't appreciate this.
