Lovely location
Dated room decoration and room incredibly hot . Fan was provided but room was on a road so unable to leave the window open due to the noise of the traffic.

A great location near to a very popular beachside cafe and sandy beach.
The staff were exceptionally polite and helpful.
The hotel decor was a little old fashioned but in some way this added to the relaxed feel about the place.

Good location with a sea view and comfortable room. Enjoyed meals in the restaurant and pub next door. Ideal for visiting bird reserves.

Beautiful location by the sea. The food available was delicious, and the location was perfect. Not to mention the extremely kind and welcoming staff who helped me out.

Great location. Most of the staff were nice. Room was a good size and comfortable but a little tired looking.
Decor needs updating. Breakfast was not worth £15.00 per person. Not much choice on the continental buffet and they had run out of some of the cooked ingredients, despite it being very quiet in the hotel.

Wonderful location, our double room was spacious and had a sea view.
It took time to reduce the temperature in our rooms to a comfortable level.
The breakfast table was cramped for 3 people and a request for a larger table was refused.

The location is fantastic, beautiful walks. The hotel is a listed building so some areas could do with some upgrading, we had a cold room in the older part, but Claire the fantastic receptionist moved us to a newer room with a sea view!, it was not a disappointment. I'd definitely book again
The fact that the building is listed means some rooms are in need of upgrading.

Location right by the beach lovely, good breakfast
No heater in the bathroom. The radiator in the room wasn't on when we arrived, so took a few hours for the room to warm up.

Friendly staff, clean and spacious room.
Location excellent.
The breakfast selection was disappointing for the price. Next time we stay we will go self catering.

Great location for immediate access to the beach and the beautiful cliffs, and very close to NWT Holme Dunes nature reserve, and Titchwell RSPB reserve. I have stayed here several times in the past 15 years, pre-Covid, but the hotel remains consistently good and unpretentious. On this occasion I was just looking for a bed for the night in order to extend my birdwatching stay in Norfolk so I didn't use any of the restaurant facilities. Room and bed generously sized, spotless bathroom, good value for money compared to some other pricier hotels along the North Norfolk coast.
If I was being picky, the decor probably could do with a refresh, as the external architecture and location are stunning but inside it's a bit dated. However, that might push the prices up in the future and this hotel is good value.

Lovely size of room
Needs to be better maintained - bathroom grout was discoloured, wallpaper was peeling and pillows were tired and over used. Overpriced

Loved the eggs benedict for breakfast
Would have preferred a room with the option of a bath but we did book at the last minute.

The breakfast was lovely. Took a little while for our order to be taken but I appreciated the staff were fairly busy.
The room was large with plenty of tea and coffee.
The reception staff were very pleasant and welcoming.
The breakfast staff appeared annoyed and were not overly friendly. Again, perhaps they were busy.
Also, the room was boiling and the corridors! We opened up the windows but then this was noisy.
Our room had a connecting door which was absolutely fine, however the tv was on loud in the room next to us.
The hotel generally requires updating to appeal to a wider market. I am early 40’s and suspect we were the youngest guests. For a Beautiful location and property the hotel just needs maintaining and bringing back to life!

This a great hotel in an excellent location. It's quiet and with a beach a couple of minutes away means it's a good place to unwind. The cooked breakfast is superb and there are plenty of other choices. We will return.
